waking up with a bad start

Dear Shooting Star,

I was freaking pissed off with my damned inability to change a blogskin. I decided to give up and use a normal template.

I was sad that I have the poor ability to judge someone and fear that I am once again hurt.

Love,
Heal me!

10 days @ the University of Society

Shooting star,

a new blogsite again!
It has been an enriching 10 day work experience working for B.O. My maiden job and never did I would expect that I could actually learn and get a taste of work politics within just a mere 10 day.

The University of Society has taught me many things out that is nothing compared to school and of course, revealed how naive and simple-minded I can be.

I was working in the retail sector, specifically in the sales industry. In an environment which was competitive in nature, it has no doubt revealed human's malice or shrewdness in aim to vie for the best, for the sake of money, by getting more commission. Nobody can condemn their actions, since their actions could be done in the dark. For instance, obtaining premium and unique offers to so call lure and capture customers. (vague. vague. vague.)

The lessons learnt are never to trust anyone in any aspects of work and be succinct but not overly straightforward. Yet, never to judge a book by its cover or rather stereotype a person's innate character by how he/she looks physically. Lastly, there is no such thing as free lunch in the world, since people are realistic, practical. Afterall, the mechanism in life involves with karma, the explanation of cause and effect of life.

The temporary sales job let me taste the indescribable mental suffering that my sister occasionally face. Sometimes, the wave of emotional tide cause me to weep in the staff's toilet cubicle. Truly, life's tough.

On the lighter note, the ups and downs in these 10 days make me stronger. I am thankful for sister giving me this opportunity to expose to this life experience that I will soon have to face this for probably 20 more years in life.

Moreover, since the product that I sold involves with educational software, I was touched by those customers (parents) who will go for the distance to help their children, no matter how rich or poor they are. In retrospect, this group of parents gave a very close resemblance of my daddy and mummy.

Life has always been a masquerade, while we may play along with the game of deception, we should never lose ourselves and the place that we call home.

Love,
heal
