Hey family!
Sounds like school and life is going totally awesome! I couldn´t even believe those pictures of Reese. She´s totally huge! What the freak?! Austen, striaght A´s! Totally awesome! You rock! Sav, your schedule sounds awesome! You get out earlier than I did in high school. Dyl, you are the bomb! Glad things are going awesome.
With me, things are going well! The package had a ton of pop tarts, nature valley bars (which are awesome because I just shove them in my bag and eat them throughout the day) and stuff like that. Protein powder and all that.
Training has been totally awesome! Elder Mccoy is totally hilarious and we get along really well. It´s so funny seeing him seeing all of this stuff for the first time, all the crazy stuff about this country because I remember how I felt when I first got here. How nothing made sense and it was all just so funny. We get along really well. As for me being sick, no worries. I got a blood test and everything came back negative so the doctor gave me some pills to take after I eat. I don´t throw up anymore, since like last friday so it´s all good. If it continues I´ll talk with the doc and figure it all out. I am definitely doing better, though. You know how I am, though. Like once a year I always get really sick. Always at least once. And I got a blessing the first week I was sick! All over that.
Anyway, as for things that happened this week, Rosalinda was not confirmed again...She said she wants her family to be there which is understandable, so we said we could wait till next week, but that if they don´t come, she´s gotta get confirmed. So she said okay and tonight we set up a family home evening with her family and my favorite family in the ward, the Gonzaga´s, who are totally awesome, so hopefully everything will go well with that. We also have someone named Natalia progressing. I´ll tell you the story about how we found her. I think it´s cool.
So we were working and it was super hot out and no one was letting us in. So I´d been praying all day that we´d find just one person who would actually want to listen to us. No luck. So we decided to go have a meeting with the ward mission leader to talk about the people we had progressing (which was no one) and give him an update on the work here in the ward. We got there, had the meeting, and I threw up. I´d been feeling like crap the whole day and was ready to call it quits because I was feeling sick. Then our ward mission leader´s son came over while we were there and he had told me that his wife might come to church with him this Sunday. I asked him if we could talk to her, and so we did. We had an awesome lesson with her and set a baptismal goal for next Sunday! I told them about how they were totally answers to my prayers that day.
I´ll keep you updated on how that goes. We are hoping to find even more really good people this week.
That´s basically all I´ve got for now! Everything is good with me.
You guys rock. Thanks for all you do!
Much love,
