I sent your camera and knife a couple days ago. I hope that you get it...Have you gotten the easter package yet?
Yes i got the easter one!!!!!!!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!! AND STILL IS!!!!!!!!!!!
every once and awhile I think that I may get to talk to you in a couple weeks...is that so? I hope so...so much.
Ya i think of mothers day we get to talk. so i will keep you updated.
So are you in a new area? New comp? Where's he from? How long's he been out?
same area, Elder Ebite 16months out.
Are you training? What new things do you have to do for that?
nope
What is the good this week?
ummm finding out that my comp was a good boy.
Did you have a good tour of the mission? When you went to Tacloban?
yes it was great. it was just a 3 hr. training.
Would they really pull both of you out that area? And put TWO new missionaries here?
If the ward isnt giving referrals, or the missionaries are being bad, they would. its called whitewashing the area when two new missionaries go in.

day 194 Transfers!
Well this week was transfer week. so sunday night, we were told that we would get transfer news so we could start packing in monday. cuz the whole mission was going to tacloban for the speaker/mission tour. so we didnt end up getting it till tuesday night. so we left on wednesday afternoon for tacloban. it was great. the speaker was Brent Neilson of the area presidency. Lots of advice. Great. well after that those who werent transferring were told to go home. so me and all the other missionaries went to ormoc and awaited the arrival of our new comps. there was lots of discussion of who my new comp was gonna be. i was scared cuz they told me that my comp was gonna be bad.. like lazy or disobedient. then they told me that my comp changed. His name is Elder Ebite. (E-b-Tay) he is from Cagayan de oro. native cebuano. he has a light voice, comparable to a bayute.(gay) haha he got called a bayute by like three members yesterday cuz of his voice. its not fruity at all, hes just a little guy with a little voice. hahaha. i like him. we played hard core ping-pong today, we were both sweating like crazy! it was super duper fun!!! ya so thats about it for this week.
well i love ya

day 187 Exquisite!
well this week was interesting. we did a LOT of calling people to repentance. ha it was scary in some instances. the first was one for a guy im not sure what his first name is. so anyways, he is super duper
lazy. he told us that the day after his baptism(20yrs ago) he went and got drunk... huh??? ya then just the last time we visited him, he told us he wanted to sign excom papers.. i have never experienced so many excommunications in my life. before the mish, none. wow crazy. so then he told us that he was leaving his wife cuz she always tries to get him to go to church and try to be a better person. granted she doesnt always do this in the most kind way, its no reason to leave your family. he is just a butthead. we asked him why he wouldn't read or pray, and he said he was just to lazy. then we told him that that excuse would never hold up to god. He didnt care. so the atmosphere eventually got extremely heated, so we had to walk out. it was crazy. its crazy, but when thoughts pop into your head, wether you realize it or not, it could be the spirit talking to you. so during that visit, the thought just randomly popped into my head "you need to leave". after that elder wood looked over at me and said "i dont know what to do now." i then said, "we need to leave". after we left, elder wood felt bad that we just walked out. he wanted to go back but i got another feeling, it kind of took over my whole body. we shouldnt go back. so i told him, and we didnt go back. we then went home. crazy....
ya so we also found out that one of our investigators was smoking marijuana... sad day. so we havent changed his date yet cuz there is still time for him to repent. so still hope. i caught two lizards this week. my cam still broken so no photos this week. sorry transfer news is on wednesday. so im super excited for it. there is a really good chance that i will train. scary. well i honestly hope that we both get pulled out of the area. i feel that the ward is waayy to dependent on the missionaries. they are soo lazy. its sad really.
last night, as i were eating dinner, i had a Brown out. :)(no i didnt poop my pants.) people here instead of saying black out, they say brown out. weird. so we woke up all sweaty and gross and tried to find the source of the brown out. we went outside to go to the electric company, no later to discover that a very large tree had been blown over into another large tree which fell and snapped our electric wire. so then we went to the company and called a service man to come out and fix the wire. we found out that we would have to buy the needed wire for the repair, so we called the owner of our house and he payed for it. when we got home from the electric comp. our water went out. so we have had no water and power for all day. so i havent been able to do my laundry. dang. haha. oh well. nothin like late night laundry.
we are going to tacloban on wednesday for a mission tour thing. one of the area pres. is speaking. also there is transfer meeting.
well thats all for now folks.. i think.. haha

day 180 Questions and Answers
Dad said in priesthood this past sunday that he met a guy who served his mission in the pines too (except when he was there it was just ONE mission). When he asked where you were dad told him taCLOban (with the emphasis on the second syllable) and then he said it his own way TAcloban with the emphasis on the first syllable. So we wondered since he went there (he should know how to say and maybe we've been saying it wrong all this time) and you're there...how do you REALLY say it?
well here it really depends of the person. people say it both ways but i think i say it like the other guy.
I'm really sorry about the kids that keeps getting in your apt. I'm sure you've thought of all kinds of ways to not get stolen from...like keep all your nicetys in your backpack with you at all times? do you have a safe?
i lock all my valuables in my suitcase.
We will send you a new camera. I bought you a new one that isn't the same brand as last time but might be better for your area. It's a camera that you can get dirty, wet etc. used on your pday. You'll have to let me know if it's better or not. but it IS black. :) Anything else you'd like before I send it? I'll prolly send it not in a box but a large envelope. so make it small.
if you could, send me my bear gryls knife. it would be so useful here.
I LOVED...absolutely loved getting that picture of sister pajeda. will you spell it how you pronounce it? is it Pa he da? the j is a h sound? I request pictures of your apartment too. your shower, your bedroom, your kitchen, YOU WITH kids, people you visit etc. Also you know that bridge that I put as your blog header? have you seen one like that or that very one?
Pa Hay Da. i can send some next week and i have not yet seen a bridge like that.
How was your easters? Do they celebrate it there? Did you have any special meal/s?
well we didnt get to work on good friday. but nothing speacial. some of the devaut catholics crucify themselves. its kinda weird. but real.
When will you get to see/hear the rest of conference? What was your fav conference talk?
i liked all the conference talks. they were all so great. i only got to see sunday session.
How is your glass half full this week?
umm transfers are coming!! hahahahaha nothing really bad happened this week.

day 180
well this week was same ole same ole. we went to tacloban again, we are going back next week as well cuz we have transfers and cuz an area authority is speaking.. so it should be cool. i think/hope that one of us will transfer, if not both. so the package has yet to arrive. so i have something to look forward to :)
well this week we went on splitz. i went with elder morris in our area. i was kinda worried, cuz we are both relativly new and still pangit kaayo at the language. but we actually had a really great time. we had two investigators commit to a date and i knew that they both felt the spirit cuz it was super strong. so on sunday we had a real nice turn out. we had 3.. yes 3 investigators at church. WHOOO HHHOOO!!! haha they are all gonna be baptized on cinco de mayo. no one knows what that is here. so i say may 5th as well :) well we had a huge rise in attendance at church. it was a good day.
we also went into the real bukid. where people are 20 mins away from each other and you have to jump huge canals of mud and what not. it was really fun. im glad that i get to enjoy hiking in my mission. it is raw nature. people always ask me if there are mountains in the states, i say, HECK ya there are! they think that their mountains are huge. the tallest one is like tiny. like Maybe... maybe 1000 ft elevation. i tell them that the mountains of ut are soooo much bigger and they have a hard time believing it. also they have a hard time believing that there are hot places in america. they think that cuz everyone is white, that there is no sun or its not hot. HA.
So just like 30 mins ago, we had a meeting with the juvi police. its hard to do anything because he is only 12, they cant send him to prison, so they can only send the parents to jail. so we made an agreement saying, that if he does anything again, his parents will pay or go to jail. so hopefully the parents teach him that he cant do it again.
well thats about it for this week.
I love you muchly

day 173 Hoppy Easters
Dear mom.
This week was ok. nothing really exciting happend. on tuesday, we had our district meeting, then when we got back we had discovered that the Amang (deaf) kid broke in again. He opens all the windows and tries to reach his hand in and steal our money off our desks. AANNd.he has absolutely no shame about it. When we see him in the street, he always flips us off or does a motion of cutting some ones head off. so that was the last straw. we went to the juvenile police and we are having a hearing tomorrow. hopefully he gets locked up. Hes a punk!! he didnt steal anything this time, but its not ok that he keeps breaking in.
So besides that, we had a pretty normal week. we were really excited to see conference, but we found out that we werent gonna be able to watch the saturday session, or priesthood. we had a really nice show of people. 3 investigators, and a handful of less actives. it was neat. the talks were great. i enjoyed all of em. the spirit was great. it was just a great atmosphere. so that was sunday. today, we had a zone activity. it was super fun! we played basketball and went to a pizza place. we were going to go bowling, but everyone was tired. i had lots of fun. it was about time that i got to play. or do some sort of sport.
transfers are in a few weeks. im looking forward to that.
we are going to tacloban on wednesday for a follow up appt. with elder woods dermatologist. so hopefully i can get the package then.
well thats about it for this week.
I love you

day 166 Questions and Answers
Did you love watching conference? Did you get to see them all? What did you do in between conferences? Where did you get to see the priesthood session? Ty's favorite talk in priesthood session was Elder Eyring's. Also did you get to see the session with the mtc choir? david archuleta was in it and tracy yeo...was cool to see people you knew. did you sing in the mtc choir? what was your favorite talks?
we havent seen it yet. i didnt sing in the choir. i liked listening better.
i'm sure you haven't gotten my package yet...but maybe? have you?
Not yet but im super excited to!!!
would you like us to buy you a camera? i didn't think before i sent you the package to just send you one there. would you like us to send you one? or just send more money? makes me sad that you can't take pictures.
if you want. umm i it would prolly be best if you sent me one. maybe the same one but my only request is black :)
what was great this week?
look up:)
what did you eat that was weird?
hmmmmm i drank the water, which is a HUGE NO NO. :/ haha i havent pooped my pants yet so im ok. but we had balanghoy bread. balanghoy is basically tapioca in its original form. so kinda like a potato. it had balanghoy, coconut and some sugar. they call it bread for the poor.
The dog just boofed...leaned over and was cleaning his tail and pushed out a boof and it made a noise. Ty laughed for 5 minutes. so did dad. did that make you laugh too?
heck ya it did!!!!

day 166 April Fools
well my first draft just got deleted. ughh... so this ones gonna be just a little bit quick. this week we went to tacloban to a dermatologist for elder wood. then we had our zone meeting on thursday. it was super good. that was prolly the highlight of the week. other than that, we didnt have any other exciting things happen.. oh jk, i witness a dog being run over by a bus. i saw him get squished under every single tire. sad. but i think he will like heaven more than earth. hahaha. i cant wait to go to heaven. it sounds sooo good. the righteous will go to spirit paridise and rest and the evil will go to spirit prison and learn the gospel. i hope i can be good all the rest of my life so i can rest. that rest will prolly be the best rest ever. prolly kick back in a soft leather chair sippin chilled apple juice through a bendy straw.
with all the people you love just chillen. maybe watchen a sweet session of earth. like just a big screen of everything that goes on on earth. ha well we will see. but ive been good this week. we had an investigator at church, we had another member "return" which is nice. our bishop is still struggling and other members are getting excommunicated prlly but not much we can do about that. sad really.
cuz she was endowed before. well also we haven't seen conference yet. we will see it next weekend. im super pumped. tell dad and ty not to take their leather furniture for granted. every time they sit down on it, they should thank the lord :) my butt is constantly sore from sitting on the bamboo floor or bamboo chairs.
Word of the week: Kawayan. Bamboo. also fun fact. bamboo is not wood. it is actually a grass. the tallest grass in the world. hehe
well thats about it.
i love you momma
