Rugby Season has started !!

 

The Deacons Quarum + Catapult

"We went to the desert near Ventana West for our campout this weekend, which started Friday at 5pm and got back around noon on Saturday. Our camp was quick to set up and had plenty of daylight to go mess around in the ravine. For dinner, we made these REALLY good hamburgers and started a campfire, which then grew more into a bonfire size. We sat around the fire eating and enjoyed torme...nting Josh and Jace with blonde jokes. In the morning, we cooked pancakes, eggs, and bacon, packed up, and began construction of our catapult. It didn't take as long as I expected it to and then we had fun launching different types of fruits and other food items. (Rest in peace, Eggbert.) After launching the items and dismantling the catapult, Bro. Burke brought out a laser tag set for the 6 of us to play. We had a really good time playing that, and then we finished loading the trucks and headed back to the church building. It was a great campout for the Deacons, especially for me, since it was my first time with only the Deacons in this ward."

Fwd: Blessing -- I think

So you know those pants that jace always wears...his tan ones with the hole in the back pocket. He had gotten hamburger grease on them, last night. Today, they looking like he peed his pants...grease spots by the zipper and pockets. I told him he couldn't wear those. But he needed tan pants today for his music performance test. ...band uniform.
Luckily,he had three other tan/brown dress slacks in his closet. All I had to was take out four stitches to make them long enough for his boots.
