When asked what I did this morning.......

Here's my reply
I took two of the kids to school.
I took the little boys to school picture day.
Had a heck of a time, trying to get a good picture of Justice. It wasn't the boy who was the problem. It was the photographer. Her comment was "well we do offer retouching for a fee." um, a fee of $10, no thank you. And I didn't ask for the photography who specializes in people/ kids with glasses.
That only took 12 different shots, finally one without glasses glare,no forced smile, and no "little old man looking over his glasses" look either.

Then I came home.

I pick up the front room, ironed my aporn ( just call me grandma redmer.hey it's wrinkle when it comes out of the dryer. Dont you do that?!) made 6 beds, found all of the dirty laundry, did the dishes, made a batch of cookies for after school, did 4 batches of laundry and killed about 10 flies( I hate them!!), finished the handout for sunbeams, too.

Soon I will make lunch for the little boys and then off to nap time.

And I still have to iron shirts for Sunday and next week.

And it's not even 11am yet!

twin-ers

Last night Mack wanted to wear his foot PJ's.  Now is not even that cold at night, but who's to argue with an almost 3 year, at bedtime.

The problem was Justice wanted to do the same thing. But Justice's  foot PJ were too too small. I told just that we could go get him some new foot PJ's in the morning, just to get him to go to sleep.

Well, We found some......

And if you are in the need of foot PJ's for your children, They can be found at Sears.

And fore warning, the children just might want to try on all of the new foot PJ's all day long for two days straight. And you just might pry them off thier dead bodies, just to wash them.....just saying
But they are happy, and who wants to mess with happiness.

Box Tops/ Soup labels

Both of the school have box tops and soup label drives.

Wyatt wanted to take the box tops  into school.
Jace wanted to take the soup labels to school too.

I had to say NO to wearing the hats during naptime. ---

GOOFY kids of mine

Letter to my aunt

Hi Aunt Bonnie,

You know how people say ' everyone has a twin' . I meet your twin at the junior high open house. I was trying so hard not to laugh, because she remind me of you so much.

Ms. Conners -via Tucker's yearbook.
Her name is Linda Conners. She teaches Language arts/Lit. She has been teaching for 40 years. She has taught every grade, but 6th grade is her best. She doesn't like kinder.

Everything about her remind me of you. Her hair cut, her mani/pedi, the way she talk and deal with the students. Her mannerisms, her 'no nonsense' attitude.
She was talking about the new lit books...it was funny. She said " this is the new book. I don't like it that much. This is the old book, I like this one. This book is another older book, I love this book. It doesn't have all of the BS that the new book has in it. I don't do all of that politicaly correct stuff. -- at that point I was trying not to laugh. Sounds like someone I know.

Wyatt(my#2) 's music teacher reminds me of Ms Frizzle from The Magic School Bus books and cartoons. The way she dressed and talked and acted. It was funny.

Maybe I just need some humor tonight.

..

Aunt Bonnie's responds:

That is funny to think I have a twin. I wonder if we would see the similarities if we met. Aunt Bonnie

after school snack

My brothers and sisters can DROOL.

This is what the boys had for an after school snack.

My siblings know this as CHERRY SWIRLS, but the boys don't really like cherry. So I make blueberry swirls instead.

Wyatt's one word : GOOD!!
