a first in 5 years..
Today we all sat together as a family of 7. A feet in itself!
Tucker and Wyatt got bored. They couldn't steal any toys or crackers from Justice. -- Such a hard life. They were both pouting at the end of the bench. We were laughing at them.
Also Jason got to pass the sacrament, something he hasn't being able to do in 5 years. He made a few comments about Sunday:
"I feel naked without my suit coat on" He didn't wear it.
"I am out of practice for passing"
"I don't know what do without being busy and not going to class" I sat by myself in Sunday school.-- Ok I had Mack too.

the day Dad went back to school
Jason started his college class for work, today. It is a class on project management. There is no homework or textbooks or letter grade. It is a pass or fail class. The class or as Jason calls it" his seminar" is for 10 weeks.
He even got an offical parking pass for UNM

We believe in being honest.......
Yesterday at school, there was a situation. Why did we just find out about it now, I don't know. But I don't like to get calls from the principal.
Anyways, here is what happened....
In the 5th grade lunch hour, 3 boys were teasing a girl and trying to look down her shirt. They had even took her hoodie sweat shirt from her and also were trying to get her to drop something, too. Tucker was cleaning up his lunch while this was happening.
These 3 boys have been many times into trouble. They have even got Tucker involved a few times too.
Tucker was not involved per say this time. He has learn the hard way not to tangle with these boys.
After lunch, Tucker went into his class and wrote a note to his teacher. His teacher's thinking is guilty until proven innocence with anything. -- Wrong, I know. She didn't believe Tucker, but she did sent all who were involved to the Principal's office to sort things out.
According to the principal, there was alot of finger pointing with all of the boys. She couldn't get a straight answer out of any of them, and Tucker was stuck in the middle of it. She sent them all back to class and home.
The next morning, she talk again with Tucker about what had happened at lunch. She said Tucker was upset and didn't know what to do about any of it. (I am happy that things bugged him, enough to speak up)
That's when she called me. She wanted me to get to the bottom of it and then talk again with her after school.
Sure enough, Tucker wasn't involved. The principal suspend two of the other boys. Tucker's teacher apologized to him, also.
He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. After school, Tucker went again and talk with the principal. She was happy that "Tucker was so trustworthy" her words not mine!
-------------
Our thinking about this was: This all steams from what was taught in the 5th grade human development/ sex ed class all 5th graders had to be in before Christmas break. We opt for Tucker not to go. What was being taught did not follow what we teach in the church or what we want our boys to know. Most of the stuff made Jason and I turn red.

Two weeks in review…. the reader's digest version
I have started many posts these past two weeks. Most of which I haven’t finished…. I have had ‘mommy mush’ for a brain. I couldn’t even spell my own name if I tried….. Someday that is still the case.
Jason has even comment that his night owl of a wife is asleep every night before 9:30. It’s true. I can’t even get through a 9 o’clock show without falling asleep before the end of it.
And my digital camera is like a Walgreen's commercial. It says card is full. I haven't had the brain power to download anything.
So I guess I will start at yesterday, Tuesday, February 17th
Jason and Wyatt did my bear den last night. They finished up their bean flags and learned how to fold the flag.
Mack had his PKU test to do. I had a refresher course of a two year old melt down! Man oh man somehow I had forgotten about them.
Monday, February 16th
The boys were off. They learn the hard way that mom needs the house quite for two boys to have a nap. And also not to always pick up Mack when he is asleep or wake. Jace and Wyatt both got their reports finished. Wyatt’s was started with the help of grandma; mom just printed it out with a picture. Jace’s report is about snakes. Just printed out a picture from the zoo.
Sunday, February 15th
Our family journey down to the Alamo Navajo Branch for Jason’s 1st high council speaking assignment. Our family triple the attendance for that Sunday to 20 members. The boys triple the size of the primary to 9. The boys watched the Liken movies on the way down. It was a 2 hour drive to the reservation.
Saturday, February 14th
Jason and the boys finished up Scouting for Food. Our troops collected over 1500 lbs of canned food. That is a record for our troops. Jason had the wild hair of going to the zoo. We ate lunch and headed out. Here a few pictures of the outing..

We also saw the mid wife who delivered Mack. It was a good thing that she didn’t recognized Jason or I. That’s not someone you want to see out in public.
Friday, February, 13th
We didn’t do much. Jason worked on his talk and all of the boys went to bed, early.

A funny thing happen……
One of the people that Jason home teaches always calls for a blessing for everything. It has gotten to the point that Jason and I joke about these people when they call. We joke about them have a hang nail and getting a blessing about it. On this night, sure enough the phone rang and it was these people. The lady had broken her finger nail while making a sandwich. It was broke, soo bad that it was bleeding, too. Jason said that the finger nail was thick, too. I will assume that means, it was fake finger nail, too. He did go over there to give a blessing. And was laughing when he came in.
Jason also had to go to round table for me. He made the comment of how did we get scouting 3 nights a week. I nicely pointed out that we have 3 days of scouting only 2 weeks each month. He didn’t think that was funny.
There was also a middle school meeting for all incoming 6th graders at the middle school next to where the boys go to school. But luckily Tucker brought home a note that said if we were in the attendance area, not to come tonight, but later in August. YAY one less thing to figure out how to do.
And if this day had a title it would be the ‘not so good night with all of the boys’
Tucker said he needed cookies for his class for Valentine’s Day. I had only been asking for the past week, what each of them needed. His cookies didn’t get made and done until 10pm. The plan was to do them while the older boys were watching TV and Mack was asleep. We will just say that that didn’t work and the older boys went to bed and Mack was awake.

Short day with the boys….. I survived!!! And Grandma went home. We made homemade scalloped potatoes for dinner.

Tuesday, February 10th,
Jason did my bear den for me. They are made bean flags. It is a silly, but cool thing. It involves foam poster board, tacky glue, red beans, white beans and black beans. There are no Blue beans! The boys just make a flag with all of the beans.
Grandma took the boys to school, but this time she didn’t get lost! Grandma even helped to finish up Tucker’s book report. She will never complain again! Or laugh at me for it!

Monday, February 9th
Mack’s first outing to the ped's office. He only lost 4 oz of baby weight. But he is eating like a horse.
Grandma took the boys to school. She got lost and called Jason. The boys were help at all.
Sunday, February 8th
Jason went down to the stake center for his first high council meeting. And later he and grandma took all of the boys to church.
I lock all of the doors and took a peaceful shower!

Saturday, February 7th
Scouting for Food started. Jason and the boys, except Justice went. Wyatt and Jarom did about 65 door approaches about the service project.
I thought to myself that “hey having a newborn and a two year old isn’t that bad” I can do this!
The down stairs toilet was still not working right. Jason took it apart and found the rest of the smoothie bottle. Wyatt was in trouble for it! Jason had to get a new toilet seal for it, too.
Grandma Bushman came to stay for a few days! The extra hands and brain power was welcomed!
Sara brought us some YUMMY rice krispies. They were gone before we had dinner. Also Sister Perez brought over some pizza. She was happy that she could help our family. Each Sunday Jace helps her hand out the programs.

The Albert’s came over and brought us dinner. Brandi and Paul know how much the boys eat and what they like. We had leftovers for some great lunches!
Thursday, February 5th
Jail Break!! The Garretts brought us some YUMMY dinner! There were no leftovers!! The cookie monsters had the cookies in the middle of the night, too.

Trenton Mack has arrived!!
I think I will let Jason take this one:
here is the email that he send out to family and friends
-------------------------------------------------------
Family and Friends,
Trenton Mack Bushman decided to make his entrance into the world in true Bushman style. He waited until I was four hour out of town in a truck to start working on it. Chris had not had much of any labor up until midnight on Wednesday morning. Her water broke and it began. I happened to be in Joseph City meeting a driver with a White Glove load--Yes I got permission from Chris to leave before going--guess I should have asked Mack. Thank heavens he was patient enough for me to get back before he was born.
I am so grateful for great friends. We/I was saved by Brandi Albert who came and took Chris to the hospital and stayed with us until Mack came. Cousin Bushman who came and stayed with the boys through the night. Paul Albert who helped get the boys to school and the Makaafi family who took care of JR all day and then fed us dinner and Cat took care of the boys for 3 more hours while Stan and I went to a meeting. I can't thank you all enough!!!
We finally broke out of the hospital this evening. Mom and Mack are doing well. JR is adapting and the other three are still their brainless fun loving selves. Any how, here be his stats and pictures are attached.
Born 2/4/09 6:22 AM
8lbs 14ozs
20 7/8 inches long
--------------------------
Now back to me:
I called Jason around 9pm after I put the boys to bed. I joked with him about my water breaking. He was just outside of Gallup. He didn't think it was funny. Sorry! I have to give him a heart attack sometimes.
Mack was very active before he was born. Jason and Brandi were laughing at the movements of him. He was also sunny side up,which made for extra hard labor on me. When he finally came out, his cord was soo tightly spun that it was the size of my ring finger, not like the normal garden hose width.
And we can't forget about our car. Someone hit our car in the parking garage of the hospital. Jason said it is just the bumper. There are cameras and such in the parking garage, but we will see what Jason wants to do about it.
Jason also has figured out the hard way, why I go shopping before hand. I have to admit I did put it off, this time. It was just due to lack of free time.
I think he loves and appreciates me more, too. He had to shuttle the boys back and forth to school, deal with a short school day and a chorus day and get homework done (which wasn't done). He made the comment of " No wonder you can't get anything done!"
We are calling him Mack!
Also in all of this fun, Mack's heart has had no problems since he was born... (one of the many reasons, why we were hush hush about him) Also, his kidney are doing fine.....(yet another reason why we were hush hush about him). They had to do two ultra sounds on him to make sure everything was good and check out great before we left.
JR and Jason spend most of day up in the hospital with me. I think it was good for JR. He has started to warm up to the fact that he has a little brother. He says "Baby Mack" over and over again. It is too cute!

wyatt's injury
Wyatt was playing tag before cubscouts started tonight. Of course, one of the boys gets hurt when Jason is out of twon.
He was playing what the boys called 'Dead Man's tag" The person who is it, is running with his eyes closed, tried to get the other boys.
Does anyone else see anything wrong with this game?
The blue and gold invite
The tuesday report
I need chocolate!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for the doctor's... still nothing has happened.
In two weeks, if Mack is not here. She wantes to schedule an induction. I don't want that!
Jason called he is headed to Joe Twon for the night, after a trailer.

the day the toilet was fixed
or so we thought!
Tonight Jason brought home a plumbing snake. He is hoping that it will fix the downstairs toleit.
Do you know what he found? a wrapper to a yogurt smootie bottle. Wyatt actually did it.

The new bishopric
today in church, the new bishopric was called.
John Garrett, who was the Elder's Quorum president is now the new bishop
Roy Turner is the 1st counselor. ( we will see how that has an effect with his family. She always said she never wanted her husband in the bishoric)
Kyle Christensen is the 2nd counselor. His wife is also the primary president, too
Jason got called as a High Counselor. We will see how the boys react to him sitting back with us...or should I say How I will react
