the Saga Conitues...........

Wyatt didn't want to go to school this morning again... surprise, surprise. I had to take him to school. Tucker went with the Larsen's. The funny thing is that I dropped Wyatt off at 820a and I didn't see Tucker or the Larsen's car. I am thinking that I beat them to school. On the way back I didn't see them at their school either. On the way to school I talk to Wyatt. He say he didn't like that "she is not dress like you, mom" I don't know what that means. I talk to him about people being different. How is kindergarden teachers are different from his 1st grade teacher and how they all do different things each day. I don't know if he got it. I also said that I am different from others too. He doesn't like to watch movies on the way to school, neither does Tucker. He likes it when I take him to school, cause he is early. Just not when the bell rings.
Jason suggested that Wyatt writes down the time when we leave here at home and also the time that we leave the Larsen's house and the time I get them to school, and see if they match. I will talk to Wyatt when he gets home about that.

Jason did our taxes. It looks like we actually owe the dump state we live in this year. He made too much...but nothing is finally yet.He siad he was going to talk with someone in the ward about a write off about miles to school. I need to put a bug in his ear about that

New toy

Here is the new toy for Justice. I hoping he doesn't grow too fast. Jace is playing with the box. The box is as big as him.

life

I looked out the window yesterday afternoon and here's what I saw...

Here is Justice in all his glory...all 17 pounds!! I think he is starting on teeth, he has been very grumpy.

Yesterday and this morning have been better with the older boys. They all jump up and got dress and ready for school this morning. But they were also up at 6am. I think Wyatt is one of those kids that needs all of his sleep...don't even think about waking him up. By the time we got to school, He was winning about the clock in his room. I don't know what to do about that, except for getting him to bed on time. I need to talk with the others about next week and also about what has been going on. I think they suspect something..but not sure. Talking with Wyatt's teacher, she said that most kindergartners and 1st graders think that they are late for class when the class is going to their rooms. So that's Wyatt's problem. He wants to be there beforehand. I think Tucker would too, but he is not saying much.
Tucker is close in getting his bear badge and also his knot for cubscouts. I think he like getting the recgonition for all of his hard work.

most things just work out.. then others...don't

Well it is a good thing that we live far from the school, Wyatt told me that he would have walked home yesterday. This morning was better with Wyatt. He didn't want to go to school, but Jason talk to him. After that Wyatt moved right along. He is so excited to build a pinewood derby (just one of the issues he had last night. Technically He is not old enough to race. So his car and Jace's car will be the "pace" cars. Their cars will be used to test the track out before the race starts. He is so happy about that. He is on cloud nine. We are still dealing with the other issue that is buggy both the older boys. They both came home with notes from their teacher, about arriving to school after the tardy bell has rung. The boys haven't been marked tardy, yet. But starting in February, both teachers will be. I guess we have to get moving a little faster in the mornings.
Tonight is pack meeting. And the bear den worked hard this month. I sent Jason to the Scout Shop on his lunch break. He only call me two times. He can't seem to shop anywhere without me. But I still love him.
I really blew it this afternoon. I sign up to do a survey on line. I had to schedule the time for this special one. It was worth $200. I was being careful about watching the time. I was suppose to do it at 12pm PST. Well before you know it, it was 1:53pm. I missed it by 53 minutes. I could just kick myself!! Oh well you win some, you lose some.

Our "Dan" moment

Monday started out with a BANG!! Wyatt didn't want to go to school at all. He didn't want to get dress or eat or get in the car for school. We were actually early Monday and this morning. Wyatt didn't get out of the car at the crosswalk,so I took him around to teacher parking. ( it is closer to his classroom) I walked him in to his classroom. The whole time he is saying, "NO NO I am not staying here. I am tried!" And now the bell has rung, He need to stay in class. He didn't. By 845 I had to take the Larsen kids to their school. I just took Wyatt with me and tried to talk to him. It was no good. He wasn't changing his mind. Finally, we went back to the school. I talk to his teacher and told her everything was fine. He was just grumpy. I stayed for a few. Wyatt was in charge of taking the money up to the cafeteria for his class. So I walked with him. But I went out one door and Wyatt went in two doors. I went to the car and left. The whole time I was leaving, I kept looking back to see if I could see him. I didn't. Wyatt said he saw me drive off and down the hill from the school. I didn't see him at all. Wyatt said he walked off of the school grounds to watch me leave. Then he walk back to his classroom. He didn't go in until one of the girls saw him. His teacher gave him a book to read in the hall and also to calm down. His teacher said he was fine after that. His teacher called me when they were at lunch to report that Wyatt was doing fine.
After dinner Jason talk with each of the boys. Jason said it was an eye opening talk. Nothing bad. Just how do you talk to a 9, 7 , 5 year old boy and actually make it since.
So that was Monday in a nut shell.

gotta love .....tuesdays

Tuesdays are cub scouts night. But tonight Jason has a training meeting at the stake center. I have the bear den all to myself. So what does Sister Glover do, TAKE OVER!! I only have to den meetings a month. I have the whole month planned out, so the bears can get awards at pack meeting. Not so they can build cars all night. Why have pinewood derby in the same month as blue and gold...that is suicide!! Why not have one month and then the other the next month. I am just going to go ahead with what I have plan and say sorry to the rest. The Boys have work hard this month, not to finish what they have start would be wrong. I got to get Tucker to work on his report for Cubscouts on an Polar exploer and draq a model of a boat.

The rest of the week is busy too:
Wed--bishopric
Thurs--Another meeting at Stake Center
Friday-- ( i know there is something) I can't remember what
Saturday--Cub scouts training all morning

picture of the day

here are some happy moments from Christmas!! The spiky ball that Santa brought also double as cool hats

Sunday--Caramels make the world better

We have Church at 1pm---yuck yuck yuck!! It wasn't so bad last Sunday. We had family in town for JR blessing, That went OK . No major blow ups when the Rays were here. then this Sunday, The boys were not nice at all. Even before the meeting started I took Wyatt out. He was winning about not sitting where he wanted to sit. It was all down hill from there. Then Tucker started picking on Jace. All of while I am trying to put JR to sleep. Finally I get him to sleep and Wyatt won't leave JR alone. And then Wyatt starts booing again and crying loudly. I take him out, swap his but and make him stop cry. would you know it! He starts in again right as he sits down. Why did I even come to church..today? Then Jason motions to me to send Wyatt up there. What does Wyatt do ....cry even more. I don't even remember what the speakers were talking about.. I couldn't here a thing. Wyatt sits with Jason for one speaker. After the next song, I pas out caramels. The boys are all nicely quite. Even JR who is still asleep.
After that was primary and classess. I wanted to get the family picture order done for Tom and Scharese. I sat in Gosepel Ess. I could have sat in the foyer, but Jason doesn't like me to hang out in the foyer with half of the ward. So I made up the picture order, then realized the numbers on the back of the pictures were different that what the pictures were. ... hopefully Scharese can figure it out. Then came Relief Socitey. I sat by myself on the back row.I did sign up for something in the many activities the ward does--no sure when the activity is. Maybe I will be brave enough to go to Volleyball on tuesday mornings. Heavens knows I need something. I just wanted church to be over with. When we got home dinner was ready--it was in the crock pot.
The boys finnally were happy and tired.
Maybe Monday will be better
