Okay lah, damn pissed. I'm trying to destress now, because I know if I keep it in, then during exams I will only think, "I'm stressed, I'm stressed, I'm stressed", and who in the world wide web can finish an exam with only those thoughts in their head?

I tried many things, I fell asleep (not on purpose) at 3pm, and when my sister slammed open the door (I hate it when anyone does), the sky was dark, and my first thought was "where the hell am I..?!" Then I realised, oh my, I feel asleep, then I got very very very angry, because I wanted to revise. Was I tired? Or am I just lazy? I don't know.

So now, I'm just sitting with a speaker next to me, hoping my music will calm me down and get rid of the splitting headache (sorry Jiajia for not giving the Panadol this morning..), cos if this continues, I'm dead shit.

Okay okay, today was a busy day.

I went to this game convention and was like expecting at least MapleStory or Audition, but guess what? Asiasoft did not even set up a booth there! Not even a small one! Omgz!

Did you know, 83 million people play Maplestory, while only 10 million play World of Warcraft? And there was a World of Warcraft booth there! ( a small small small one though. Hardly noticed it.) A lot of things I dunno, wanted to have fun there, but could not, because, how to have fun when you dunno anything that is happening there? I stayed for 2 hours, got a lot of freebies, maybe thinking of trying Angels Online? Looks pretty fun. -sigh- still cannot get Audition up, maybe after holidays first thing I do is to go to cyber cafe and play one round of Audition so I don't go crazy. I've been keeping it in too long.

So later I also have to go to a friend's gig. I though like, okay cool lah, got reason to dress up, go to a place where no one knows me. It'll be cool huh? No one will know me, and I can be myself, don't need to be like i school like that, where I have to be a whole new different person. Not because I need to fit in with the others, well, you get it don't you, school life, work life, and personal life are all very different things.

Now it's raining, out me off the mood. I like the rain, seriously, just matches my mood, not what you people call "emo". But the rain is very relaxing? Yeah, but now, the rain is gonna get me wet, and I can't afford to look bad there. Dude, like, it's a gig with all of Singapore's music scene there. Not only will the performers be music-orientated, the majority of the audience as well!

I, on one hand, do not know what to do there. Okay, so WWH has told me to "just have fun", but if I were to put you in an art exhibition, would you know what to do? Of course not! You'd feel lost and scared and whatever. I mean, I play the guitar, and I think I have taken my first steps in this new world. Hey, but people can tell a noob when they see it. Everyone begins somewhere, everyone was a noob once. Even the great Jimi Hendrix must have been noob once. Never despair, no one stays a noob forever with perseverance.

So, last time I remember I had these ant problem. There were ants everywhere on my com. In my keyboard, in my mouse, EVERYWHERE. So I got my dad to get me an ant trap, those commercial ones and in a week, I was seeing ant carcasses everywhere. You know, those ants always crawl out of the keyboard and onto me when I was playing audition, so, well. REVENGE WAS WONDERFUL.

But revenge is never the solution. Because.

They're back.

I cam back up, sat down at the keyboard and saw an ant. And another! And another!!! And then I knew it was true. It was, The Revenge of the Ants. It was the last straw! Audtion or no Audition I did not want 6 legged creatures ruining my computer experience. I logged on to google and searched "how to kill ants" short, sweet, and brimming with revenge.

I looked at different possibilities. Clean up your act and make sure your house is clean. Hmmm, I didn't eat infront of my com, that much. Pour boiling water over their nest, yeah right, pour a kettle of boiling water over my com? You must be nuts. Then, there was mix soap and water and spray onto them, and get my com kaput? No, and a way. Finally, there it was.

Pour talcum powder and they will die soon.

My first thought was, do we have talcum powder? I suddenly had an all new respect for talcum powder. Whoo! All hail talcum powder. I rushed off to find some.

I found some near the shoes, but that was good enough. I raaaaan back to the com and saw THREE ants attempting suicide in my path. I sprinkled talcum powder and.. And..

NOTHING HAPPENED.

Except they went crazy and couldn't walk properly and went in circles circles circles and it was very fun to watch them go in circles circles circles. So I took a plastic box once holding pretty shells and swept them in. I made an amazing discovery! Since talcum powder makes everything ultra smooth, you can sweep them in the box withot smushing them! I was overjoyed! So I put more talcum powder in the box and saw TWO ants waiting for death and so I SWEEEEPT them into the talcum box too. I saw my original three ants attempting to crawl out but..

THEY COULDN'T HAHAHAHAH

The talcum powder made everything super smooth, so I smeared it on the sides and now..

THEY CAN'T GET OUTTA THE BOX, HAHAHAHAHA.

I wanna go to the kitchen and put somemore ants in the box to die a slow and powderful death. Bye.

I need to get my act together, everyone is my class, in Singapore (the whole world?) does. Exams are coming! And I don't get it, I just don't get it. I remember clearly when I was P6 and it was PSLE, P5 and EOY exams were on it's way, my teacher would give us 2.5 inches worth of worksheets in a mere 2 days. That is ALOT if you measure out 2.5 inches with your fingers.
But now, it seems like our teachers are slacking even more than we do! I don't know really, I can't put words in their mouth as I haven't lived their life. I guess they ae putting in effort, I mean, which teacher doesn't? But.. I just don't feel the "oomph" that there was when teacher's were drilling us for the major exams. Where did the real stress go? Not that I like but, now that it's gone, I suddenly feel like, without it, who is actually going to take the first step to studying with such a slack environment..?

It just feels empty, like there is something missing. I feel guilty as well, I am not drilling myself hard enough, no offence, and I shall not make any attempt to make solid conclusions but, I don't think anyone is drilling themselves hard enough! I remember when I was P5 and studying for my EOYs, and mind you, P5, not P6, my teacher would give us so much work, so would my tuition teachers and my mother, plus I give myself homework. It got so bad I would sometimes just be tapping my pencil on the table trying to solve a sum, then start crying, or I would go home, drop my bag on the floor and crouch in the corner crying.

Fine, that's not really the type of environment you want to have when you are studying, I remember PSLE it was much, much, much worse, but hey, everyone pulls through somehow. But this..? A day we could have absolutely no homework at all, or a little bit of homework from one subject!

Okay, I'll be frank, it's NOT that I wanan go home and just begin on my homework. I have a life!!! So does everyone I guess, and it does not consist of sitting down and drooling over books and a calculator (like.. EWW..?). But where is the exam environment? AAAAAH..! I don't believe I'm asking this but.. WHERE IS THE EXAM ENVIRONMENT?!!

The way things are going, we might not be even having EOYs in a week now. Chow, self studying, what a bore.

Same old story, this leopard just never changes it's spots. Bah! Studying.

Okay, so, today they had a briefing thingy for all those going to the Kunming, China trip in the 27 of October, a.k.a, ME!

Actually the whole group were supposed to be there, but dunno why leh, only 7 of us were there for the briefing, so what to do? Teacher just have to explain to two separate groups, haha!

For the sake of myself, I've decided to list down whatever she said so I don't forget, plus, it's be an enlightening experience no?

So.. First up.. PREPARATIONS like yeah?

• Need to get warm clothes from where ever. Temperature gonna be single digit from 1 - 5`C! NOTE : GOOD OPPORTUNITY TO GET NICE JACKETS.
• Check if Flu, Hep A, Tetanus, and Typhoid jabs have been taken. Tetanus taken in P6, just need to check for the remaining 3. Note : Jabs are on the 13 Oct, Monday, school marking day and -gasp- JACKIE'S BIRTHDAY!
• Think of different ideas to interact with the kids when we get there. Do with Regina who has boy-o-phobia. Note : Some of the kids are older than us over there! Think of how to include them too!
• We need ideas for this years fund raising! Note : What is in this year?!?! I need help!
• Sort out what clothes to pack for the 9 day trip Note : Will they be freaked out by my wardrobe? Oh well!

I'm bored.

I've not done my history homework, I still think there's somemore, and I'm bored.

So what happen for he past don't know how many days, was, there was virus, and it affected my computer pretty badly. That meant no Internet, no Audition (omg, nooo!), and some of my files were deleted.

So, what I thought was, right, Averyn has been sending me this weird bug in the form of one of those age old scams. You know those? The ones that go "Omg, look at this picture of me, you want it?!" or something like that. I mean, lawl, who actually accepts those?

So I didn't, bit lo and behold, 2 days later something happens. My mouse freezes, and MSN windows open themselves only to close in a fraction of a second. Each of my 178 contacts on MSN are opening up on my screen while my mouse is frozen, and each staying there for a minute amount of time, so all I see is blur of different MSN windows.

Next thing I know, everything is calm again, yeah, for 3 seconds.

7 people at one go ask me "wth is that?!" in different ways.

"I accepted it, but there's nothing there, huh?"
"Why are you sending me a virus? Loser"
"So.. I know you..?"
"What picture is thaaat..?"
"?"
"Huh?"
"Heeeey! It's one of those virus! I didn't know you'd send those"
"Wtf?"

So what happens now is my computer cannot shut down properly too! Instead of the conventional Shut down computer & the log off symbols at the bottom of the start menu, all I have is the log off one. The virus blocks my Ctrl+Alt+Delete command, thus I cannot shut down from there. Worse, when I log off, the virus doesn't let me shut down my computer form the shut down command at the bottom left of the screen.
Retard!

So I pester my daddy to run some dumb anti-virus (since Norton is so.. So.. @%%$#^~!!!!!), and he gets BitDefender, he claims, is way better than @%%$#^~!!!!! Norton.

Scan.. Scan.. Scan.

WOW!!!!

Not only are there viruses, there are 267 of them! Brava, BRAVA.
UGH.

BitDefend, ultimately, could not remove anything (like I was expecting much, yikes), so my dad dismantled the thing and brought it to the office. I got it back the very night, UN-debugged. The debugging continued to the wee hours (by me.. But I think I caused more harm than good), and finished.. THIS MORNING, yay!

Great I thought! But then I had to delete almost every file except for my music and art. That means..

• No MSN.
  
• No Audition (HOLY.. Noooo!)
• No iTunes
• No Windows Media Player
• No Internet explorer (I do haveMozilla though)
• No extra plug-ins that are needed (like Quicktime, blah blah..)
• NO MICROSOFT WORD AND WHATEVER AAAAAAHH

Ever since this school year started, sure, I have problems. You have problems. We have problems. Everyone has problems.



Kai Ning, there is a saying; Out there, there is always somebody who's going to be better than you. But this rule applies to you, too. You could be that somebody for other people.

You can. And I'm not about to stop you.



But we can't be good at everything; maybe you can; maybe I can't. But if you try to do everything at once, it's not that I'm criticising you for your effort.



But sometimes it gets hard. Even though I am probably jealous of other people like you, yourself, Grace, and maybe even Kimberlyn, I am trying to deal with the fact that sometimes, you have to step down and leave the leadership to other people. You should share.



You are only born with the things you have, the things you choose to instill, and the experiences others impart to you. Try to accept that fact.



Kai Ning, don't reproach yourself. You don't have to be better than others; there is no need for it. at the end of the day, we can't do everything at once.

(iii) - Cities where large numbers of people lived, worked and traded (1m) and
contributed to the cities’ success (1m).
(iv) - A view of themselves as one culture with the same religion and language(1m).
As such, chances of misunderstanding is minimised(1m).
(v) - The ability to defend themselves effectively(1m) when faced with a war
situation(1m).

water can be hunted by the people. Furthermore, it enables the people to
keep domestic animals as well . Secondly, such locations are suitable for
growing crops as soil is usually fertile near rivers. Thirdly, fresh water
is readily available near river banks for daily essentials like drinking,
cooking, watering crops. It also serves transportation purpose which
enables people to move around and also trade with people from other
places.

the possible reasons for the decline of ancient civilisations like the Indus
Valley Civilisation. Thirdly, dangerous reptiles like crocodiles may be
present in the river which can hurt the people.

This is the history holiday homework :)

Hey, yeah, it's been a depressing holidays.

Sorry yeah? Must post so long. Don't read if don't wanna.

You know, I never really cared about scores and tests and results and what shit last time, when I say last time I mean like, before primary 5 around there?

But now, and I know it's bad, I feel like, I must.. I must, it's a absolute must to be better than everybody. Everybody meaning like people of the same level as me. But if there is a person of higher status than me, but I can do something better than him or her, by all means, overtake him! Show him that I can do better, that at my age I am so great!

I look at it in a logical sense, what's the use of being better? What's the use of beating Grace in English or Literature, what's the use of getting people's attention away from Claire's drawing and onto mine? (Oh, and as I mention this names, I am squirming and moaning in my seat, blood simmering) After all, we are all going to die, nobody is going to remember me, and nobody is going to remember them, So why bother? Why at all?

Then again, I see them neck at neck with me, so many different people, so many different amazing talents, all just about there when it comes to me. Then I think.. There are so many different people struggling to keep up with me, aren't I just like all these amazing talents and people combined into one?

Anything really, looks, hair, organisation (as in neatness..?), clothes, the place I live in. It doesn't just need to be studies, I must be best in everything, I must know more than they do. They are lower beings than me, how dare they surpass me? When it is so clear I am better? I don't get it..
Sometimes I just can't cope, cutting, is my way out. Even as I think of it, my heart beats faster and my adredaline level is skyrocketing. I don't care if people think I do it for attention because I don't care what others think. As long is it benifits me, and doesn't for you, then I'm happy. The feeling is amazing, I just want to go deeper and deeper

I think 2 days ago when I was sitting down on the sofa, the 9'o clock new preview just happen to show in the middle of a sitcom. So I was text messaging Averyn, and seriously not paying attention to the TV at all. Then, suddenly.. They went (and I can still remember..!)
"What's so painful to teenagers nowadays that they want to cause this to themselves?"

And they flashed pictures of cut wrists, mutilated arms and thin blood dripping from wonderous wounds! That feeling of comfort, the feeling of blood rushing though my thudding heart, and my adredaline, oh, especially the adredaline.. It was wonderful.. Wonderful and horrible.

To see people to these sort of things to themselves, worst still, to crave doing this to myself, I am forced to think, is it true? Do we really face a pain so great that we must let it out? No one understand you know, it's not just the pain, blood seeing the blood ooze out.. It hurts you know? I have nerves, I can feel, and it hurts. I hurts bad, I whimper when I do it, because it hurts. But when you see the blood come out, when you actually get enough for it to slide down my arm so a tiny drop forms at the bottom of my arm? Yeah.. that's what's it all for.

Watching it with fasinacation, you feel the funny throbbing feeling where it hurts, and suddenly, it doesn't hurt so much more, inside.

I don't want people to hurt themselves, I don't want people to suffer, I don't like that idea, but why then, do they care about me? If they do, they will suffer.. I hate seeing people suffer, even more if because it's my fault! Why don't you get it? 3 years, 3 years of getting away with it, just leave me alone! It's not like I will kill myself, no.. no, I have so many people to prove I am best to just let my life go in such a stupid way. So many people to show that I can truimph over them.

To see their faces in defeat, to show them and the world that I am best, what more could I want..?

When will you understand how it feels like? Running your lips, encrusted with salt from crying (I don't like crying..!), over the fresh scars.

They are so supple, so soft, like the touch of an angel. The little raised gashes, up down, up down, up down, criss cross, left right, left right, left right. Then you use your whole face and touch them.. Your cheeks, your eyelids, forehead.. It's like feeling the same part of your body, with different sensations each time.

The scars are warm, when I put different parts of my body they are always a different temperature because those parts of my body also vary in temperature. My favourite parts are my lips and eyelids. When you run up and down, and up and down, it sometimes is wet because of the transparent wet thing that comes out with it. I don't like that, it dilutes the blood and makes it orange. But it makes it thinner, so it can run down faster, and drips faster.

Drip, drip drip.

It hurts, really it does.

Hi 1/5, today i went for choir and i asked a 1/3 friend regarding about the science wb and she said that Mr Farhan told them to do PG 125-132 on the WB. i think we are supposed to do this pages too. & if you see this, do inform some of our classmates :)btw, HAPPY HOLIDAY! (P.S. despite having so much hw>_<)
