Its true, the first year is flying by. What little E has been up to...
He sporadically will roll from his belly to back but is still not consistently doing it.
He is trying really hard to figure out the back to belly but may still be a few weeks away. I seriously don't give him enough belly time.
He has mastered his walker. He goes forward, backward, can get out of jams and cruises pretty fast. It definitely is his preferred play place. Is he too young for a walker? Maybe, but he sure loves it which means less fussing for us.
He is using his hands really well. He is starting to grab at our food when we eat. Luckily we are starting rice cereal in a couple weeks. I think he will be more than ready.
He is making all sorts of noises and sounds. When we read a book to him or sing to him he studies our mouths very closely and gets his mouth moving. It seems he wants to be saying more but can't quite figure it out.
He still is a champ when it comes to going to baseball games and out to eat. Good thing cause Eric and I cannot stop doing either of those things :)
He eats 5 times/day. He doesn't eat a ton which semi stresses me out but he is healthy so I'm trying not to focus on it.
He is not the best napper but is the best night sleeper. Goes down between 8:30 and 9 and sleeps to between 6:45 and 7:30.
Here is his picture next to Mickey. He is really starting to get some length.
Grandpa Bob made this adorable frog chair for him. So, so cute!
We sure love our little guy!

FINALLY!! Vacation Pics
I'm not sure what my problem is lately but blogging just has not made it to the top of my priority list. Granted my priority list isn't that long but I've just been plain lazy. We had many pictures to sort through of our great week at Canandaigua Lake, NY. I think the amount of pics was overwhelming but I finally got some together and here is our wonderful week vacation...
The gang meeting us (Eli) at the airport. They sure were excited to see him. We loved the welcome!
Grandpa Bob was the first lucky one to hold him. I think its because they have the same hair ;)
He sure loved all the attention (made for a rough few days upon our return to Denver)
Bath time at Grandma and Grandpa's.
One day was tie dye day. The kids made shirts for all of us, even Eli.
Eli mostly stayed in the house since he is such a whitey. But one day it was overcast and warm so we brought his pak-n-play down to the dock for most of the day. He was a champ. Slept in it and everything.
For some reason he was fascinated with cell phones. He would start squaking like crazy whenever he saw one. It kept everyone entertained. So funny.
Pics with all his fans...
Aunt Kellsie
Aunt Joyce came to visit for a day
Aunt Mary Pat, Uncle Dale, cousin Sarah
Aunt Robyn
Granny Lue
We rented a boat for the week and the kids sure loved it.
Ally made it up waterskiing.
Uncle Dan was the main driver.
Eric skiied for a bit as well
The view of the lake from the house. Its through a screen, hence the haze. Words can't describe how incredibly beautiful it is on that lake. We lucked out with an amazing week of weather. Eric and I went kayaking a couple times when the water was so so calm. I loved it.
Eli did really well. Honestly, he did better that week than he does at home. He was like clockwork. We especially loved all the help with his feedings (he can be a bit of a monster sometimes when he is eating). Granny Lu fed him every morning while Eric and I slept in (most mornings). It was heaven. I love my sleep :) I wasn't too nervous with him around the water, mostly because he wasn't by the water much. Next year may be a different story...
We had such a great week!!
