Update on our tenet. Last I heard he finally got caught up on his rent. The kids are staying with friends close to where they lived with there mom. The tenant is trying to get a job transfer closer to them but said it was gonna take a few months to do so.He seams to be in good spirits to spite all that he has had to deal with.

Wahoo !!! for me as I completed my SAL project on Monday morning 2007.
I'm gonna turn mine into a Small pillow for myself. I had a great time
doing this with the members of my Cross_Stitch_forever yahoo group.
This is the first SAL I've done with a group of people. Think I'm the
3rd person to have completed this so far.
Now to all whom did this with me a Big Thank You is coming your way.
Now I must work on some other projects.

Look here. I found this rug at a grage sale on Sunday and only paid $25 for
it. Look whom likes it and further more the black kitty has not left the rug
for very long scence we put it down.

This is my progress on my Lizzie Kate's "Good things" SAL with my yahoo group CSF.
I'm not working very fast on this but now two people have finished and I must also try to get this done by the end of July as I then need to start on two coasters

Some finishes

First off I wanna say Thank you all for the outpour of prayers and concerns about our tenant. I have not heard anything other then the kids are with family and they have sense berried their mom. I don't know the outcome of how he is gonna deal with everything else but guess this is a step by step process that may take a year to work out. Just know that the prayers have not gone unnoticed or unappreciated. I normally do not let my personal life interact with my blog but well once in a while it just has to. Thank you all.

The firts one is the set as I have gotten them done. The next one is the May Retro cat witch is the one I have just completed. This was started back in October when I went to Indiana to see my hometown. Then it was set aside to do other stuff. It feels pretty good to have a finish from my WIP pile.

Did the Snowman's Holiday in just 2 days time. This was a really easy and fast stitch. This was a Lizzie Kate freebie that has been on my To-Do list for a while now. Thank goodness it's done as that shortens my To-Do list a bit. Not to worry though I have a ton of projects to take it's place.

Next up is my very first Popcorn bear. This was an easy stitch and I loved doing it. The pattern was very simple to follow. The fuzzy stuff was even easy to follow unlike the Taddy Ted's.

This week I started a SAL with my CSF group but not much progress to show right now.

Bouquet for Cheryl Take two

We got a bit of bad news upon our return home on the 4th. Our tenant had knocked on the door right after we got home. He said his x-wife/ mother of his kids had just gotten to work and this guy broke into the store. He shot the two employees and the mother dies at the Sean the other lady was rushed to the hospital only to pass away soon after she got there. They have not caught the guy and I don't know if he got any money or anything. From what I understand they was in the process of opening the store when this happened. He needs lots of prayers at this time. He has one child that is handicapped; one that is 17 & one that is 3. His whole life changed on the 4th of July and I don't know what he will do. The mother and kids lived in Colleen Texas I think but he just happened to have the kids here with him for a few days visit. If you could take this prayer request into your heart it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

When I was done stitching page two I decided to work on some needle minders. That is what the next photo is of. I like them all but the little snowman just didn’t come out the way I planed.
I would like you all to tell me witch one you like the best.. Thank you !!!!

On Monday when I received my package from lily I forgot to mention the T-shirt she sent me
Don’t know why I left this out, as it was equally special to me. It has a picture of dolphins on it and says “dolphin friends” and is from the island she visited. I like it so much that I have worn it every day sense I got it. Now last night I spilled red wine on the shoulder so I’m hoping that when I wash it today I can get that out.

I have finally completed page two of my Bouquet for Cheryl piece. I have been working on this off and on in-between other projects. So here is my progress on that.

Exciting Mail Day & SBQ

How do you store your WIPs and other projects that you have kitted up?
My answer
I have mine in a big zip lock bag and then put them in a tub type tote.

When you start a new work do you look for something small, do you lookfor another huge project or do you consider your UFOs?
My answer
Normally I have an Idea of what my next project will be a long time beforeMy current one is done. What I do depends on Stitching group commitments, Birthday & if all else I just go through my stash and see what strikes me at the time.

Great Mail Day
Now to the real news and excitement around my house. I have been expecting this envy from my good friend Lilly L. in Malaysia but what I got outweighed my expectations by a mile. Turns out she not only got me a t-shirt from a trip she just took but she was my exchange partner for the Tea Time MA. She did such a great job on my MA and then to top it off she made me this scissor fob to match the MA and on the back she stitched the Name of my blog along with my initials. Also she included some tea and coffee from her country. When I opened this package I was just over whelmed with joy. I even had to take the MA back into the post and show it to the teller who always admires the MA I get. I think if my boy’s were not in the car I would have cried upon opening my envy. Lilly did such a good job in hiding the fact that she was my partner as we e-mail each other almost every day. THANK A MILLION LILLY…I truly love it all. Oh ya she also went to an antic store and found some bookmarks for my boy’s. They said Thanks as well.
