i think im going to cancel this blog. i have not been keeping up with it for a long time. since the 4th people! !!!! anyway, byeee.

WHAT A WEEK

Sooooooo.......this week has been a great week and a great 4th of July!!!!! Maybe it was the best yet! we went to my aunt tiff's friends house, and celebrated there. Their house is awsome! Especially their family!!!! they are all very welcoming and warm and inviting to my sister and I! i wish we could live here all the time!!!! Its going to be sad to leave!! But we are planning out a fun filled week And expect to have LOTS of funn:):)

BRACE FACE - - NO MORE!!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Two weeks ago i got my braces off!! Im super excited and it just feels great to have those things off. Yep, im brace face -- NO MORE! i cant wait to show all my relatives when we go to visit them next week! But the only thing about getting braces off is that you have to wear a set of retainers. They are clear, so thats a good thing i guess, but i have to take them off every time i eat, or drink anything other than water. I thought that would not be so hard to do, but then i went to the movies; Boy was i wrong. I was having to take them off every time i wanted a sip of my soda or some popcorn!!! Can you say, ANNOYING!? But i do have to say that these are WAY better than braces, without a doubt.

A Day on the Lake

At the zoo last Friday, they were having 'FREE ADMITION DAY'. So of course we went; zackary really was bugging us about it:) After i got picked up from school, we had to run like the wind to make it in time before they closed for the afternoon. we only had 30 minutes to walk around and look at all the animals, but we managed to have a fun time, and so did Zackary.

Snow

hey guys, this is one of the posts that i was going to put up back in december and just found it lying in the drafts section. anyway, i figured i wrote this whole thing already, so i'm just gonna put it up here for you to see.

What a day.

This morning I was woken up by my little brother Zackary, who was so happy and frantic for me to look out my window. The previous night while we were all watching the news together, they made an announcement that all of my school district would be canceled for school the next day, in the event of a 'snow storm'. My sister and I were very thrilled to get another day off from the week. So in the morning, my brother came in yelling, "snow! Ne-kole look out ur winow!" so i did and sure enough, my front yard was peppered with snow.

Unlike the stuff that coats your 'Frosted Mini-Wheat' cereal, or 'Frosted Flakes', the snow that we played in smelled like pine straw, and tasted like, well, fresh air. When i breathed it in, the tip of my nose was rimmed with little crystals. I took off my glove and gathered up a small ball of Snow and cradled it in the cup of my hand.
Soon, it melted from the radiation of my body heat, that was trying to keep my warm.

I love the snow. I love the snow. I love the snow. Anytime i am around it, i feel fresh and reserved. My mind is free from other thoughts in the world, and it soars with imagination. I'm not the only one who may feel this way about snow; i know there are others. But if you are like me, someone who does not have the chance to be around one of mother nature's creations, then this feeling only comes once every so often. And i love it.

ok, so this is supposed to be the 'long' video of the christmas lights show that we went to see on new years eve, but what ev.:) i guess some of it got deleted or it just didn't load all the way..........anyhoo, hope you enjoy you 3 seconds of christmas lights!!!! Happy new year!!

Christmas, not X-mas!

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all:) My christmas and such was really great! we had a big family dinner on christmas eve, with ALL my family literally, cause there were people there that i didn't really even know! Anyway, after that we went to bed like really early because 'santa' would be coming soon my parents said. And then the next morning we woke up to see all the goodies 'santa' left us behind! And there was alot, let me tell ya. A couple gifts i'd like to high light are: a Wii(finally), a new camera, and a new bedset. it was great!

Ok, so the reason why this post is called 'Christmas, not X-mas!' is because when i went to church the sunday before christmas, they said that alot of people are putting X- in place of the christ in christmas!!! that made me pretty mad!! My sunday school teacher told me that that is one of satin's ways of making us think
not chrsit like. So thats why....although i'm sure most of you already knew that before.

Edward Cullen

Hi everyone, today while serfing the web i found this cool website that has this really hot picture of Edward Cullen. i dont know if i'm allowed to put the website on here or not, but all you have to do is google edward cullen, and scroll down till you find the one that says 'Edward Cullen Source.' click on it and there you are!!! A beautiful display of Edward in full view. On it, though, it has some stuff about him, so it would be really cool if you checked it out. I loved it, and i was taking pictures of him with my cell phone for like 30 minutes!!! Enjoy;)

My 'Wicked' Atlanta trip

This was our hotel room view from our trip to Atlanta months back. We went there for the play Wicked, which by the way i must say was the best freaking play i've seen before!! I got to attend thanks to my aunt Nancy, who had an extra ticket and gave it to me:) I had the time of my life!!!!!! The play really changes your point of view for the wicked witch of the west from oz, and the good fairy Glinda. It is about the wicked witches life growing up as a child, and then going off to collage where she meets Glinda. Anyways, if you really want to hear the rest, then get your but up and go!!!!

The lights that sparkled on the roof at night in outside of the theater. Which by the way, was the old FOX theater. It was quite amazing and beautiful.....but on the streets, there was not enough room for us to drive!!!! So we had to walk all the way there from our hotel, and my poor meema was about to faint!!! But we made it safe and sound to watch the play.

ok, so after the play, we we walking back to the hotel and low and behold, we saw a whole swarm of people just waiting by the back door. so, we followed everyone else and walked over to the hot spot. Just then, all the actors walked filed out, all dressed in normal clothes again. Everyone lurched for pictures and autographs from them to sign on their playbooks. I finally got a picture with the actress who played the wicked witch, and and autograph too. But why am i not smiling into the camera with the girl smiling with me you ask? Because aunt Michelle was taking the picture, and she said that a snapshot of her autographing it next to me was better and less cheesier than those 'fake' pictures when both of us are smiling into the camera. So whatever.......this is my picture!!!!!!

But what suprised me most of all was that once the actors and actresses could be set 'free' from the mob, they just walked away down the street. I truly expected them to drive away in limos or somthing, but i guess they don't play on Broadway, so it's not like they are know worldwide.

I realized quite a while back that i have not been putting any pictures on here latley, and i had been meaning to put some more up, and trust me i was, but i never got to it. so this is the one post that i am just going to fill it up with random pictures.
