Back From Bali!

Back From Bali!

Feel so tired and enjoyable after the 5 days 4 nights holiday in Bali, Indonesia. At first, I am shocked to hear that my family is planning to have a trip to Bali because there were several bombings in Bali. If I am not wrong the last bombing was about in the year 2002. Yeah, its on 12 October 2002 in the tourist district of Kuta on the Indonesian island of Bali, killing 202 people. You might want to check up more on wikipedia. But I was like okay, since this happened very long ago and doesn't seem to be happening in near future. Furthermore, it is not going to be so coincident, therefore went to Bali at last. So, I will now take you to the trip to Bali.

Day 1 - Bali 3rd December 2007 (Monday)

I woke up very early at around 5.30 am, then quickly dressed up and prepare the stuffs. Later on the taxi driver came and pick us up to KLIA, LCCT, Domestic flights. I am taking Air Asia to Bali. All along I thought AirAsia was not good at all, their landing and take offs being very rough and the interior was uncomfortable and hot, humid. To my suprise, it was superior, everything was perfectly fine. The seats are new, it like a new aircraft. I would never regard it as a budget airline again. Therefore, built up my confidence with AirAsia.

After that, we crossed the custom and a guide came by and took us off. The tour was only on our own according to him. We were quite please as the time would be more flexible and do not need to think and care about others. Although sometimes it was a bit of boredom as there were noone to chat with. But, the guide, Mr.Yan as we called him, is a person who is very delightful and friendly, my father asked him many questions and he answered it well. The talks were enriching for me, made me aware of things happening in Bali.

Our first place to go was the Monkey Temple. Mr. Yan told us to be careful of the monkeys over there. These monkeys were very naughty, they sometimes would steal things from you, so must be careful when monkeys are at sight. The scenery there was beautiful but yet nothing really memorable in me.

Later, we went to eat our 'lunch', quite late already. I think it is just more of a tea break. We went to eat Babi Guling, in English it is called "Suckling Pig". Wow, it is amazing, very delicious. Babi Guling is very famous in Bali, everywhere also can see their shops. You might be wondering the muslims eats Babi (pig)? No, it is beacuse 90 percent of the population in Bali is Hindu. That is why this is the case.

Feeling full and we are ready to check in to our hotel resort, Harris Hotel. I would also recommend you to come to stay here as I think this hotel is not bad. The rooms are quite spacious. Really a good choice for holiday staying. Then, we went somewhere nearby for Chinese Food. okay, thats not expected, we went there to eat local food. Not so Chinese though..haha.. Then we went back to sleep.

Below are some pictures of the day... (Haven post yet)

Day 2 - Bali 4th December 2007 (Tuesday)

Woke up at forgot what time already. Anyway, the tour guide picks us up fro the hotel. Before that, we had our breakfast in the hotel. Quite nice. =)

The tour guide said that another family are going to join us: 1 mother and 2 children. We picked them up at another hotel. Then, we went to the theater performance, i dun remember where was it. It was something about the fight between the good and evil. I dun really understand what are they doing actually, still don't know how is the storyline. But, whatever...

After that, we went to see the volcanoes in Bali. There were two, as mentioned by the tour guide, it has been erupted before, currently in sleeping status. We had a close view of the mountains. The scenery was marvelous. At first, we felt pity as the weather was bad. But, as we had our lunch there, after lunch the scenery was much better.

We ate buffet there. Most interesting and memorable there was, when we were eating (indoor), there were people outside. From the window, they were promoting their items wanting to sell to us. OMG...

Then, we went for drink tasting. Not that special overthere, just tried a few sips of various drinks: Coffee, Lemon Grass, Ginger and Cocoa. Then, we went to another temple...ok...dono wad temple is this. haha... But after this temple, there were lots of small shops. They kept pulling u in to their shops. Hardly to come out, with u r too friendly. U must be a good tawar menawar person too, GOOD BARGAINING SKILLS!! Need to at least cut 60% of the price, if not dun buy. The cheapest items available in Bali, i think.

After that, hehehe... We went for spa massaging. That was my first time having a spa massage. 2 hours, quite long but short too. That was my first time... OMG... felt a bit shy. its like only wearing undergarments, and nothing more. But, very comfortable.hehe...

After that, we ate our dinner at Jimbaran Bay. The tables and chairs are all on the sand. Facing the ocean, hearing waves while eating. There were some performances groups around giving us some entertainment. If I am going to Bali again, this would be a definite place to come. I heard that if u come during sunset time, there would be a good and nice sunset view for us.

Then, back to our hotel and sleeping time. Posted photos below. (HAVEN hehe)

Back From Cameron Highlands

Back From Cameron Highlands!!

What a holiday! I am really very tired, but still I would post what happened over there. Because tomorrow going to Bali already, after forget what I did in Cameron Highlands. Without further a do, let me take you the trip to Cameron Highlands.

Day 1 (DECEMBER 1, 2007)
Woke Up very early and went met up with one of my father's friend. Uncle Chee King (Hope my spelling is correct, but it sounds like that.) We went up by using the new highway right to Kampung Raja. Firstly, we alighted at Green View Garden to have a cup of tea. There were fishes, so beautiful. Then, we went to check in to our apartment in Desa Anthurium, the place there was brilliant. Unfortunately, my family was placed in Iris Hotel, as the number of people (My dad, mum and me) were just enough for that room. But, the place was quite good too. But, I forgot to take some pictures. We also waited for the other groups of friends to arrive and only went for our lunch at Restoran M.N.N.C. The Bak Kut Teh there was delicious. After that we went to visit my father's friend's. Uncle Pius, farm. He has flowers there, very nice. Throughout the day, we went to buy stuffs, many stuffs, food, flowers and vegetables. We also went to the pasar malam there, but was very crowded. Later, we ate steamboat for our dinner. Below were some photos taken that day.

Here was Green View Garden. Nice sign board.

These are the fishes I am talking about. I think it is nice when this is placed at home.

Here is Desa Anthurium apartment, has a nice scenery from the balcony.

Both pictures are flowers in Uncle Pius's Farm.

Day 2 (DECEMBER 2, 2007)
Woke up early too but not that early also. We checked out from the hotel and meet up with the others at their apartment. We went to Bala's for our breakfast. The cottage was beautiful and unique. I ate a banana pancake, quite fine i say the food was, but not that brilliant. After that, shopping for flowers, cabbage and other stuffs, soveniers, my dad's friend was really mad at buying stuffs. They bought really many things. Then, we ate lunch at Lai Fatt, the serving of food was really very slow. Then, more buying afterwards, and gone back to Ipoh. Now, I am in the computer room writing this post. Photos taken down here for the day:

This place is the Bala's Cottage House. Nice concept indeed.

The Bala's.

I advice you my friend. Don't go to Kea Farm during school holidays weekends. This because this would happened. Car Jam.

Looks like a good scenery spotted by me.

Wow, I found this car here. Heard that it speed up and had an accident.

Hello everybody, this is me and see you again at the next trip to Bali.

Hong Jia Farewell 1

Hong Jia Farewell 1

Why my title would be Farewell 1. Coz I think that there would be a farewell party 2 and I don't consider this as a real farewell party.

Super Star of the Day

Mr. Song Hong Jia who is going to Australia for studies!

Today's participant
1) Edison Cheam Jia Jun which is me... I am the organizer of this event. I did quite an unsatisfactory job today. Unorganized and very unclear.

2) Wong Yin Chaen - Co-organizer of this event, her job was to invite the girl participants.

3) David Liou - He was actually invited and confirmed to go, but he could not make it there as he has some transport difficulty. If Mr. Tan Chee Hong went for the event. He might be able to attend.

4) Kong Siew Weng
5) Ah Pang - Invited by Siew Weng
6) Jian Wen - Don't know who invited him but glad his there too.
7) Ng Chun Xian - He went there but don't know whether he is sad or not as his beloved girlfriend did not attend.
8) Jack Chong - He was late!
9) Tan Yann Kang - Not expected to come. He was unexpected to come...
10) Elize Chan
11) Evon Yap
12) Law Vinna
13) Oh Ling Yue
14) Wong Kit Yee
15) Cheong Siang Yeng
16) Wong Kah Yan
17) Choe Chu Shan
18) Tang Ching Huei - She came for a while
19) Eng Jia Chui (Disappear halfway and unexpected)
20) Tung Gee Wei (Disappear halfway and unexpected)

If I did not miss out anyone. This was the list of participants. Huge right? That is why I think I am being a loser organizer. Whatever then, let's now focus more on the process.

I woke up at 7am. Then Chun Xian reach my house at about 10 am. We went out to Parade at 11am and reach there at about 11.30am. We went up to food court and met up with Jian Wen and Kit Yee. One thing funny was she wore a plaster on her right cheek - she said that she accidentally scratch her own cheek with her own fingernails.

Later, Yann Kang and Hong Jia joined us. Followed by Siew Weng. Then. Ching Huei reached there and said that she was here to wish good bye to Mr.Song and she was there for just a while. Then, she went back to Cameron Highlands. After that, Ling Yue came too. Ah Pang also reached here.

The boys went to KopiTiam to eat. While the girls went opposite SenQ to Yum Cha. I do not really know what really happened. The other girls reached. Not wanting to say amore about the processes. Whatever. Everyone reached.

The whole group was split to two. One went to the cinema to watch Geowulf and the other went to K-box to sing karaoke. I don't know the other side of the story as I went to sing K.
Those who went to Sing K was Wong Yin Chaen, Wong Kah Yan, Choe Chu Shan, Law Vinna, Cheong Siang Yeng, Wong Kit Yee, Song Hong Jia, Jacky Chong and Me.

Today I sung some songs, not to mentioned, I think that I really sung very badly. I don't have any face... haha... But today was a cheerful and happy day. I still enjoyed it. I hope I can really write the whole process but I am very lazy.

Poor Laptop and Me

Poor Laptop and Me

It have been almost a bad weekend for me. I shut down my computer on Friday morning. It was still perfectly working. I decided to switch on my laptop in the car on the way to Kuala Lumpur, perhaps maybe I can use the 2 hours drive to watch some movies or do anything. To my dismay, I found out that I was unable to boot up my laptop. It appears with white words saying that my windows has been corrupted. I knew I could never use it in KL, I need the Windows XP CD-ROM to boot up my computer and retrieve my files before re-installing Windows, but I think that I left my CD-ROM in Singapore. This means that I could not use my computer until back in Singapore. How Sad! But, I have another choice: Reinstall Windows without retrieving my files. There were some sentimental value files for myself in the C-Drive. For example: My Photographs. Those games I don't really care. So, finally I decided to wait till I am in Singapore to "rescue" my laptop. So, currently just using my home desktop. Better than nothing, all I can do is go online, watch drama series which Ziang lent to me, and go out with friends. Playing computer games is the only activity which I will not going to enjoy in this holiday!

New Stuffs this year

What are the New Stuffs I have been through or have....?

*I bought a new guitar. You know why because my old guitar's D-string kept on snapping. I remember it was like snapping on its own withour anyone touching it. Looks so spooky. Maybe I was fated to change a new guitar. Besides that, after I bought the new guitar. I was more interested in playing guitar. That was a good sign. Also, I bought a guitar book, that was totally awesome. Let me show you now some details about my guitar. The brand name is "Ritmiller", hears like a Germany brand guitar, right? Unfortunately, it is a China made guitar. HAHA... My guitar are those type that can be connected to a amplifier. Cool man. You might want to come to my house to take a look.

*I bought some computer stuffs. As in somethings related to computer. I bought two 1 GB Ram Card. Damn it. I bought it each for 59.90 singapore dollars, if I am not wrong. After that, I went to the 5th floor of the same building. What I saw to my amazed that they sell the exact same product for just 41 dollars. I can't believe what I have saw. Later for a few weeks later, I heard that my friend bought it for 38 dollars for the same thing, 21 dollars cheaper than mine. I felt like I was cheated. Oh My God!!

*Besides that, I bought a dual twin controller for my laptop. It is just the same as any playstation controller, but only with a USB cable. Cool right? Now I can play FIFA and NBA, or any multiplayer game with my friends. It was just like having a Play Station. HAHA....

*This year, in Singapore. I went to two of my Singaporean friend's house, Lim Zhi Yang and Yong Sijie. What I went there for? To play mahjong haha.... Lately, I was a bit of mahjong craze. It was just like as if I was very interested in mahjong. I wish to learn everything, getting a bit addicted. Of course, no betting. Nice experience. For more info, I lost many matches. I think that luck is not always by my side. I would need to prepare some tricks next time. haha....

Im Back

IM BACK in ACTION

It has been a tough year here.... Although tough but at least can feel something nice...
Secondary 4 life was a tough year. Need to Mug to get promoted to Junior College. HAHA...
Sounds very funny...coz everyone would have just relax through the whole year. They can say that it is easy to get promoted. Yeah, they are right... Unless you did not do the ACE projects and OP points... Those are vital marks needed to get good grades... 25 percent out of the whole paper is a lot....so...one sentence for my juniors...Please complete as much as possible during the beginning of the year. Most importantly, be disipline.

I hardly really knew anyone back then during Secondary 3. But after this year, I think that we bonded greatly. I hope that our friendship would not end her. Let's continue to Junior College and in the future.

Now to my old buddies. Hope I can meet you during this holidays. Come and arrange with me. I have many places need to go with my parents. So, it is very hard to find a date.

That's all. Later would post another one, perhaps....
