New Medicine

Spider has been making its presence known to me with great intensity over the last 2 days, i spotted three different spiders, basically in my space, in my truck, in my home, and at my mothers home, which not unusual, but the fact that each time, i almost walked into it, or grabbed it with my hand (on a knob) caught my attention. I got the message, and the medicine. Spiders make my skin crawl, I like to see spiders in their webs, but surprising me NO. I decided there was medicine here that I needed to explore. What I found Spider is the weaver of the Web of creativity. The symbol of creation and Mother. Strong feminine energy, Goddess. Sacred creative female energy. I have come to the conclusion over the last few days that I have to fall back into my love and knowing that my love of creating natural beautiful body products, and just soul-full just for me art and projects. I need to engage, create, manifest the prosperity I want to see in all aspects of this being.
amnh.org Hawk Medicine - Each time I am at a new threshold or just received information that moves me I see a Hawk, and I intuitively knew that I was being told to open, embrace, receive and use the message I just received, or that I am about to receive a message and I need to be receptive. It re-inforces what Spider is trying to tell me, I found a red tail hawk feather recently, and I see them daily. They give me comfort and let me know that I am on the right path, a light on my path if you will. And just for grins, i reviewed native american interpetation of Hawk Medicine, and again was given comfort, and more trust in my intuition. Hawk Medicine - "Hawk is the messenger of the spirit world" Use your power of focus, take the lead, use power of clear vision. A strong connection with the spirit world and increased spiritual awareness.

I had a blog post a while back about my meaningfull journey with deer, titled slippery hill. I won seat in Pixie Campbell's Soulodge for June working with Deer, that same morning my husband called me to let me know that he had found a 10 point antler set that he knew I would love. I am ready for more Deer Medicine. We will be working on balancing strength and vulnerability.
www.deer.com SO MUCH MEDICINE TO TAKE IN, BUT MAYBE I HAVE BEEN IGNORING SOME SMALLER SIGNS AND NEEDED THIS FRONT AND CENTER. WHAT KIND OF MEDICINE IS WORKING IN YOUR LIFE RIGHT NOW????

What the Wasp told me

A few days ago I noticed a wasp on my bath tub. Not your usual manic, buzzing wasp. My wasp was slow moving and docile. He seemed to be very aware of me, and to be looking at me. I let him be, after all he wasn't bothering me. I did wonder how he ventured into my home and bathroom. The next morning I saw wasp, he seemed to be content humming, buzzing low as if to get my attention. I said thank you for not stinging me, and letting me know where you are since it is morning, i am foggy and groping in the blur of morning. The following morning, there was wasp sitting on a container. He was completely tucked in. Wings close to his body, as were his antenna. I thought he is either dead or sleeping, as he was so extremely purely still. I took the opportunity to look at him closely, and then started my brushing my teeth, a mere foot from him. He awoke startled awake, antenna and wings fully extended and apparent confusion. I stepped to the other stink and gave him his space. I came home tonight and again he was there. I thought wow what is he surviving on . I mean I really dont know what wasp sustain themselves with, i put sugar and water on a saucer, and moved him toward it, he looked appreciative, it a wasp can look or be appreciative. Why did not I not remove the wasp to the great outdoors. Because he was talking to me, and giving me his medicine. He told me that he was a communicator, that he represented order and productivity. He told me that I should ask myself if I am was in alignment with my deepest desires and goals. If I was doing my part to bring to fruition that which i seek. My answer to wasp was while I had desire, and I was practicing Alchemy in my life, I had failed to keep my dreams at the forefront and important. The wasp told me that it is good to be an Alchemist, but is just as important to be an Architect for my life to build upon the seeds that i have planted. To build a strong foundation, and a well planned journey with preparedness of spirit and an expectation of complete alignment.

Well that was what he wanted to say. After realizing my friend and I were bonding, I researched to determine what the wasp represented to determine the medicine he was trying to deliver. What I discovered was this:

Those with the wasp as their totem may learn more by asking these questions of themselves, and calling upon the wasp for more clarification.  Wasps are perfect totems for those of us who need a bit of organized focus, and assistance with assertive communication. The wasp can also help in areas of building, whether it be a new home, or building on a dream - the wasp is a master architect and can guide you with the planning of any building project you have in mind.

I realized what wasp was trying to convey. I have to put the plan to work, i have to nurture it, and continue to care for it. To set a clear intention and move in that direction. That I must be strong and communicate my needs and expectations to those closest to me.

I will set wasp free tomorrow.

Journeying with Animal Medicine

I have touched on my journeying in the past, so some of this may be repetitive, but I have chosen to share my very personal journeys in the hopes that this will resonate with some who share this and will show others that this is a gift to us all, that we can all access this divine knowledge to help guide us and re assure us. I am no authority, but it has proven to be a sacred part of my own journey. I have several Journey experiences that i will share over time, weekly along with the Alchemy Journal of Healing.  I welcome any comments, questions or suggestions.

The Alchemist Healer Journey of Awareness:

The process of Journeying is something I have only learned over the past few months, but it has become a piece of true magic in my life. The help and guidance of animal spirit is always there for all of us to use and access at any time, with the open mind, heart and intention.

I will not go into all of the ins and outs of journeying as I am a novice and there is wonderful information in books and online regarding Shamanic Journeying Techniques. Sandra Ingerman is an Icon and has amazing information especially for the beginner.

I did not write my journeys down until now. They were so personal, I would share them with my husband and some with my mother, but I realized for myself I need to document with a journeying journal of sorts, and maybe one day seeing the culmination of the gifts I receive will be a gift to another soul, and me.

Journeying is strange really, as Sandra Ingerman says, as well as a known shamanic belief: Animal, plant & Mineral spirit, are always present, they appreciate acknowledgement and are here to share and serve.

I have only experienced Animal Spirit with regard to the actual journeying process, although I have had touching experiences with plant spirit. This is my documentation of a very important part of my journey.

You must always ask to use Animal Medicine, and show gratitude once it is shared.

Journey 1. My first experience was really mind blowing.  I actually started out with meditation, I was anxious to journey but had convinced myself I was not ready to do this. My heart, spirit and sub conscious mind had a different idea, and knew that the door was open and the path was ready, which became evident, when while in my meditation, I realized I was above a Japanese Garden, looking down on it, cherry blossoms, paths, water, it was so ethereal and beautiful. A dragonfly basically for lack of a better word let me use its body or vice versa, yes I am saying for a time I was that Dragonfly, like I said mind blowing. While in a meditation state, I felt myself moving my arms and head, moving with the dragonfly movements.  It was sublime. I learned quickly that I could see the energy and essence of everything. I saw a human and a light energy around him; I swooped down and danced in his energy, actually absorbing it. It was pure ecstasy. I wondered if the dragonfly was in my human body, when I was in his body.

I then saw a child and again gently landed on him. He was in amazement, he giggled and could not believe I landed on him, he stared at me intently, at my beauty, he was in awe, I could feel it, and I actually wept.

Dragonfly Medicine was powerful and opened a door for me into the other non-ordinary realm, and made me understand that I could have these experiences. True Magic.

Dragonfly Medicine- I learned that we are all made up of light and energy, and that we are all truly connected by that, and it is truly magical the interwoven perfect connection that can sustained our spirits, our beings.
