i almost forgot that there was more to life then my bed, my bathroom and my couch. but as always....life goes on, with or without you. so i decided it was time to catch up.
this is why i've been somewhat..MIA..
well he cant hardly talk, let alone read, but if he could, i'm pretty sure the conversation would go something like this. ...
"mom, what does this say?"
"WHAT!? i'm gonna be a big brother!"
"hooray" {thumbs up}
"wait, why are you locking me out? its already happening?"
"i'm not your whole world? i've got to share?"
"i dont know how i feel about this anymore."
i'm 12 weeks along and starting to feel a little better. i'm still pretty tired and i get nauseous at night but i think i'm starting to see the light of the second trimester tunnel. i've had an ultrasound and although it only showed ONE cute little bundle of joy growing all safe and sound. they did not ultrasound my back side, where i'm pretty sure there has to be another baby or two growing. because my eating habits over the holidays and the pea sized person in my stomach cant possibly be the only reason my pants are a little tight.
so back to the point....the attempt to catch up begins...
{ Halloween }
Gabe was a monk, as you can see, i even made the costume all by myself. i was so proud. he looked so stinkin' cute i could hardly stand it.
the inspiration behind the outfit... i was folding laundry and my boob insert from my swimsuit had come out. gabe picked it up and stuck it on his head, perfect fit. and i was hit with halloween inspiration, he would be a little monk. i already had the yamaka.
a genius idea straight from pinterest.
gum ball machine and quarter.
balloons, saran wrap, cardboard and silver spray paint.
he's always a clown, not just on halloween. :)
{ Christmas }
i had to ask myself, should we use this picture of our "perfect family" as our Christmas card and make everyone jealous?
why not?
Gabe made out like a bandit! "santa" only brought gabe 4 things because he knew that there was 2 sets of grandparents that would go a little overboard. and holding true to form, he was showered with holiday cheer in the form of CARS, ELMO, MICKEY MOUSE, A TRICYCLE, A BASKETBALL HOOP AND A SOCCER GOAL (that he is deathly afraid of because they talk) and jammies. he is one lucky little dude and we are lucky parents to have such a rock star to celebrate this special time of year and every other day of the year with.
"i dont know what this is but i want it because its in mickey mouse wrapping paper"
Gabe LOVES to dance, especially to the neil diamonds christmas album.
Santa brought me the best gift ever, a new nikon camera with 2 different lenses so i can capture moments like this that make me smile, and reminds me what life is all about.
So to all the 100's of people {and by 100's i mean my dad} who have been bugging me to update my blog, here it is, and its the last time i'm doing it this year so stop bugging me. ;-)
Happy New Year
