Bygone
Tell me it is normal to feel what I'm feeling now (couldn't describe it in words) to see someone once so important in my life moving onto another phase without me. I'm sure this will pass...... UGH bored stiff at home, and the weather is bad. I need a beer!

'cause I'm your lady
The last few days passed in a blur, not in a bad way though. We went to Dublin for a field trip with the International students on Wednesday, attended Ana, Silvia and Bora's birthday party in their apartment on Thursday, the Italians came over for dinner on Friday, drinking and clubbing on Saturday. In short, the week flew by and I had an awesome time! Sigh but it'll be even better if my friends were here with me.... Hah! I had to go for a jog earlier to 'cleanse' off the alcohol in my body.

Galway Weekend
We went over to another county in Ireland for the weekend! Finally I feel that I'm in Ireland because the air & the greenery was so breathtaking! Photos will do more justice to Ireland's amazing and magnificent nature.

It was around 6ish 7am, and the sky is pitch black as if it was 3am.

We went to the Kylemore Abbey, it was originally a castle built by Mitchell Henry for his wife, Margaret Henry. He was born in Manchester of Irish parents. A medical surgeon by profession, he inherited a large fortune on the death father in 1862 and became chairman of the family textile form. Abandoning his medical career, Mitchell devoted the remainder of his life to business, politics and the development of the Kylemore Castle Estate. Margaret Henry died after contracting fever while touring Egypt with her family in 1874. Mitchell had her body brought back to Kylemore and placed in the Gothic Church which he built in her memory. When the nuns consecrated the Church, they moved her body to the Mausoleum which was erected nearby. In 1910, Mitchell died in England, aged 84. His ashes were brought to Kylemore and laid rest next to Margaret.

We ended the day with a typical Irish night in an old traditional Irish Bar - with a pint of Guinness each. What's going to an Irish Bar without drinking their renowned stout!

On Sunday, we took the Cliffs of Moher and The Burrens bus tour. The Cliffs of Moher blown us away, quite literally. The wind was so strong and my photos came out ugly because my hair was everywhere! Nonetheless, I saw the Atlantic Ocean, the spectacular Cliffs and took some postcard-worthy photos. It was an awesome experience!

Beef in Guinness Stew!
It was really quite good! YUMZ ;)

Next up, we went to the Aillwee Cave in the Burrens. The Cave was formed by the glacial melt waters of an early ice age. The erosive power of the waters carved out an sub-terrainian river deep underneath Aillwee Mountain. This river has subsided since the last ice age, leaving behind one of Ireland's most stunning caves. The Cave has a constant temperature of 10°C and because of the dark, I did not manage to capture much of its beauty.
