My 2nd visit to this place. Reason being theres a 1 - 1 promotion for dbs card holders and their pizza is thin crispy and wood-fired pizzas, and their pasta are reasonably good.
Portobello $25 (L) $20 (R)
Mozzarella + Parmesan + Goat Cheese + Scamorza + Basil + Portobello Mushroom + Caramelized Onions + Roasted Garlic = Portobello Pizza! Between the thin crisp lies a generous amount of Portobello Mushrooms and the smells lingers in your mouth after the first bite. It was not too cheesy, so the taste of the mushrooms are not overwhelmed by the cheese.
Say Adios to Pizza Hut!
4 Portobello Shrooms / 5 Portobello Shrooms!
Tortellini Alla Amatriciana $18
The tortellini were stuffsed with Sautéed Bacon, Sweet Onions and Garlic, served in Basil with Tomato Sauce.
4.5 Tortellinis / 5 Tortellinis
Bruschetta $ 9
Toasted Garlic Bread with Balsamic Tomato Salsa. The Garlic Bread was wood-fired just like the pizza, and the salsa contains big chunks of Tomatoes. However for some reason, the Salsa taste more like Tomato chunks more than anything else.
3 Bruschetta / 5 Bruschettas!
Tiramisu - Their Award-Winning Recipe
True enough, this was indeed their award winning recipe. I never enjoyed tiramisu until yesterday! The different layers have very distinctive taste of Rum, mascarpone cheese, espresso and Masala wine, and the base layer ladyfinger of the Tiramisu have the strongest rum taste.
Anyway some interesting fact about tiramisu!
The Italian name tiramisù means "pick-me-up" (metaphorically, "make me happy,"), which could have a more sexual meaning!
