I really think it is easy to say things and roll out new initiatives "just because".
And they should consider each circumstances to put their ruler on it.
It is good to have a guiding principle and have expectations. BUT you are just being not fair when some workload is definitely MORE than the others. Maybe you can become our personal artist instead?
