No desire to buy things...
Ever since last year, I realized I have stopped buying / do not have any urge or desire to buy
:: clothes (unless necessary)
:: shoes (unless necessary)
:: stationeries (unless for others)
:: cosmetic products (unless necessary)
:: electronic products (not like I always do, I always wished a phone can be used for years)
Or rather, a general lack of wanting to buy.
Instead, what I had been "splurging" on are groceries or books (what's new).
I wonder what changed (in me).
Sometimes I do feel suffocated by the sheer amount of things I own.
When I stand in my room, and I take a 360 degrees turn.
Yet, I can't bear to part with them. Or even for items that I hadn't used in eons, when I look at it, I would think, "there might be a use for it somehow" or "there's still some ___ left, let's keep it". And after eons, the cycle repeats itself.
Oh man. Please teach me how to part with stuff and be less attached to worldly things.
Maybe, the first step to that is not to even indulge in and buy them in the first place, hahah.
Maybe that was what I had been doing subconsciously.
Let's hope this goes on.. and let me be less attached to things, people, ego, items in general..
~ whatever happens, happens for a reason. =)
