Veg!

I was never a veg lover. Tell that to a younger than 21 years old me, I'd think you're preacher.
Neither am I now a veg lover. In fact the only "veg" I love / can't live without is potato, Haha! Or maybe bak choy come close to a veg I love. Hah.

But now, I can't imagine not having greens.

Why? Health reasons? Habit? cos instant noodles is unhealthy so I need something to offset it?
Haha, I dunno.

But yeah, I got better of my laziness and added broccoli into my noodles. :)
Pseudo healthy is better than no healthy yeah?

The students can be very bad, non-obliging, mischievous, disengaged.. they can be the worst performers. But I still love them anyhow..
but once they attempt to cheat.. that's when I lose faith and sight of them. You can be very bad in your studies and behaviour or make one upset on purpose, but integrity is everything.


Update (4 May 2017)

Right now I am still at episode 7 (hahah, I am surprised that I watched lesser series here then when back in home town).. I am watching this / got to know this drama cos my friend highly recommended it.

hmmm... current review of the series...

1. It is such an accurate portrayal of how things are like in the pre-society. It's not like those airy-fairy, idealised kind of plot or scenarios you see in local dramas with idealistic your-girl-next-door kind of female teachers (read: an actress whose name starts with F). There is no doubt still an element of idealism in this current drama (it's drama anyway), but it frames it well such that it is still realistic in context? Like totally doable -- going against upper levels to fight for a student's cause etc. It's not like idealistically staging a revolution or be all superhero and save the day kind of scenario.

[on a side note, this is a totally different regime from GTO.. cos GTO is slightly satirical I feel? hahahah. And Takashi Sorimachi is forever that GTO, no to the newcomer! Even the anime which was sculpted after Sorimachi doesn't come close, hahha]

2. Which brings to the next point.. that it's like watching our lives... that it feels documentary instead of "touching" like what my friend said...? ermm.. haha, yah. It's hard to elaborate on this point. So, it ain't "touching" to me, yet.
It only made me laments further.. like how real life issues / administrative is creating the disassociation and powerlessness to really do something for the kids. That's sad. That's... more sad than touching to me. Losing the passion, the drive, the will.

3. The last point is just personal -- nothing to do with content. haha. Just didn't really like the "adults" / actors / actresses in the series. The "kids" are likeable and realistic though! hahah. Especially when in a class, you have the good ones, the dorky ones, the rebellious ones, the clown, the mood-lifter, the sidelines. hahah.


Alrights. Shall wait till I finish the series to see if I could understand my friend's meaning of "touching". :)

Unexpected feelings.

Ok this is bad.
I thought I wouldn't have this feelings when I am in this wonderful place.

I.am.feeling.bored.really.bored.no.mood.to.do.anything.

Oh my.. must be burnt out from too much desk sitting and crunching non-fiction academic stuff.
I miss fiction books!
Not even watching great shows cheer me up.
And I don't have appetite (so rare, hahahah) this evening, so I just had some sweet potatoes and green beans for dinner. Just no mood to cook and eat. Even chopping vegetables became a chore today. haha.

Please stop feeling bored.

Since since 25 March till 11 June.. it's one assignment PER week. No joke. Really.
Now on my third.. and it's so tiring.

Testing my summary and editing skills.......... and on coffee & sleep.

For the last assignment, I need to reduce the word count by 500.. heart painnn cos some points were quite good (read, not super good, but good enough).

And now.. I need to reduce the word count by 1000+ words... T_T
Well... I think there were some extra stuff which can be removed.. which is good news.. now to summarise those other salient points... 

On a side note, I had weaned off coffee for a good 6 years (read, no more one coffee per day for the past 6 years, unlike 3 coffees per day during my university days -- the horror! THREE cups.. omg, I cannot. Imagine the amount of SUGAR! zzz).

Now, it's not one coffee per day because of biological needs (since in the past prior to 2011, I can't get past the day without a wrecking headache if I go without a coffee in the morning). But now.. the coffee is.. emotional support? hahahaha. A piping hot drink any day in this cold weather man! Well you can argue there are other drinks available (Milo here just doesn't cut it) such as hot chocolate, but I think too much is too heaty yeah? Hot honey, hot pipagao are good alternatives.. but man.. something as aromatic, thicker and as mood lifting as coffee -- there's simply no substitute for that man. :))) Besides, I am not a coffee connoisseur, so normal quality coffee is fine for me. :)))) 

Okay.. good distraction / destress here just cos of random catharsis. :)))
Gotta get back to work! :)

Oh, and It's quite amazing that I am getting up earlier and earlier WITHOUT alarm clocks! Amazing or what?
From 8am, to 7.30am, and today, I woke up at freaking 6.40am. -_-"
If you translate that, it's 6am, 5.30am and 4.40am. woohoo!
If only I had lesser sleep debt when I am working and able to wake up naturally.. that will be so awesome, instead of dragging yourself out of bed for work!
