Seriously.
I am (wo)man of my word.
So I totally hate people who said "xx (me) is doing something / will ask someone / will do something" when no prior instructions had been given to me AT ALL. SERIOUSLY?!?!?! And then ASK me for it. Like what?!?!?!
If I were given the instructions, I would have gotten it DONE before you even had to check back on me.
ARGHHHHHH.
Sometimes I totally believe swear words spurted by docile people are induced by antagonists (note, it's antagonist, it's not even the protagonist).
hurhurhurhur. It's only that the docile people had more culture than to pollute the environment (at the expense of their own health cos they pollute their own inner heart environment).

难得指甲长得这么长还这么工整漂亮……还真不舍得剪呢……
但是，我既懒得擦指甲油让它“修长靓丽”多几天，又不舍得指甲活受罪……指甲可经不起指甲油的侵蚀以及窒息……
真是进退两难……

Woven Stars

I think its a waste that I didn't go into the crafts line. But yeah this is like the #retirementplan :P

Once I get my hands on craft I like and enjoy, I can simply spend hours on it, just to try out how people did it, get it right, make it right, and explore new ways / derive new patterns from the existing pattern. Love it!! 

Now I'm working on precision -- come'on protractor and compass, do your work! :)

Side note: Felt awesome to be working with mathematical instruments again! Angles, mensuration and construction were some of my favourite topics then!!

 

Anyway, please ignore the wordings on the cardboard. I'm reusing the cardboards that I've saved from finished foolscap from my JC and Uni days. Heheh.

See, such recycled materials always come in handy!!

Threads are available.. just simply cos I kept a stash of them handy, lest I had some days where I feel like working on friendship bands and stuff, haha. 

And, I sort of realized why my happiness index went up a little today. 

Other than this 自嗨 crafts making, I did a little sewing earlier on. 

Crafts are really therapeutic for me. =) 

I should just really do more of this. =)

If I were me..

If I were me, I would 

• Designate one room in my future house to build walk-in book shelves to shelf my books 
• Designate a comfy corner for reading in my future house
• Devote weeks to just reading novels or re-reading novels I love without the care or concern for things to be completed 
• Designate an area for calligraphy practice (so I need not lay out stationery whenever I wanna write and keep thereafter. You know, leychey)
• Spend more time honing calligraphy and handwriting // work in progress! :)) as of April 2019
• Spend time doing cross stitch or trying out new sewing techniques// work in progress! :) as of April 2019 - tried making wristlet in 2018, learnt Sashiko in 2019
• Buy a huge cute cuddly furry stuffed toy and hug it to sleep daily 
• Buy cute cuddly furry stuffed toys uninhibitedly without the care of money and pragmatism (you know, dust, and it's just cute and cuddly, that's it)
• Play all games at a fun fair (for adults) and win a prize at every single stall
• Take a cab everywhere and anywhere I go (well, only for necessity's sake) 
• Buy a car and drive to different places
• Devote time for my personal movie/anime Marathon 
• Devote myself to learning Japanese so that I can read Japanese novels (e.g. Higashino Keigo's) without the need for translation. 
• Simply zhng my phone cover to those bling bling covers without care for practicality
• Expand my collection (pRintZ-family) of pouches / pencil cases / cute stuff with tiger/leopard/cheetah prints
• Accessorize myself with bling bling accessories
• Have someone who would be able to prepare a range of mouth-watering healthy organic vegetarian food daily 
• Stop inhibiting my Free Child
• See snow -- 300717 Mount Buller - accumulated snow counted? hahah. // 110717 a bit of snow at Cradle Mountain at Tasmania~ // Dec2018 SNOWING in Korea Seoul :))))
• See cherry blossoms
• Go to Japan
• Go to Europe 
• Travel to different parts of the world with my other half
• Learn and grow old together with my other half

Talk about "good luck".

There's been so many sad things happening this year... I feel so affected but who cares?
The most recent sad news came so sudden, and I just feel really sad about it.. tears welled up and I feel so much for them... :'(
Regardless, life goes on, things just keep rolling and going on and on...
I feel so much like helping (work-wise) but 心有余而力不足... BUT I am just going to try with that current stack in my hands.. even if that's going to kill me during this break. Because, that's the least bit I can do for them...

And now.. something (that happens to me) even better came along. woohoo!
No wonder I had that foreboding feeling to check my Work Email during wee hours of 12.30am in the morning. Sux to be a workaholic that takes all things so-ever seriously. Thanks (to self and itchy hands) for adding to insomnia.

Things are really overwhelming at this moment / during this break (pun intended) with at least THREE FOUR unexpected work to do.
Let me list down lest I forget:
1. the stack (willingly though I'm really at the end of the rope)
2. the appointment
3. the 18,000words thesis
4. the 3,000words report

Nevertheless, I shall be a firm believer of "Blessings in Disguise".
