Making informed choices.
Was reading some reviews of a few health products (m o) on the net.
Then I thought:
What if these positive reviews were simply a part of the social media strategies to push for the sales of their products (of course their personal product website will portray a positive image of their product)?
What if the negative reviews were done by the competitors to slow down the sales of their competing product?
Not even the comments by "consumers" add much credibility to the effectiveness of the product as they could be planted or done with their own hands. Anyone can simply hide behind the veils and say anything they want.
(On a side note, my professor "acted" that a certain student asked a great question and written down the answer to the query on the group wall, haha! This ain't bad cos my Prof simply highlighted a blind spot that we didn't realize. This was only revealed after we graduated.)
That leaves the consumers to be aware and to be discerning when reading reviews and choosing products.
So yeah, anyway I do have concerns. Cos firstly it's a pretty new product (at most 15-20 results available), and so far 80% of the web searches only state the positive effects of the product.
That rings a bell.
No matter how great something is, there is always some flaw somewhere.
I shall read more to make a more informed choice.
