Super cheap thrills but I'm so pleased with these loots! Woohoo!!

Haha. I think besides books, stationeries make me excited too!!

But I think the best buy was the pen refill Cos it was simply a trial-and-error buy? I kept those pretty empty pen holders (yellow pen in pic) with hope that I might get pen refills. So when I saw refills of the same brand but different pen type, I decided to go ahead and try it out. Lo and behold, it fitted like a hand in glove!

Even though the entire preparation process was extremely tedious and time consuming, there was a great sense of satisfaction seeing all the strips of food being devoured. Haha. It's paramount to the three minutes on stage takes ten years of hardwork -- three minutes of lou hei, three hours of preparation. =P

Maybe it's the age. I am not a very people-person, but I love the feeling of preparing food for and mingling with my family members during these festive seasons in these two years. This is so different from how I idealized festive seasons in the past, where I simply indulged in my world of reading in the past. Even though we might be doing the regular things we do daily (chatting about random stuff, or repeating the same conversations), time just flew by without the sense of drudgery. 

Life is all but a blink of an eye. 

Cherish while you can.

In the next six days, I will be able to move along the path that's pre-determined, or break out of the monotonous comfort zone and seek out what's mine.

Nothing beats preparing early, being prepared and always 未雨绸缪。

My grandma is so IN

Today is the first time my ahma saw me wore skinny pants. She told me in teochew, "Not bad, looks good."
Then she added, "Can even get those that fit better. Now not so many people wear those baggy loose pants any more."

Like! Haha. She's so IN with her understanding of current fashion la!!!

It's a tad ironic, whilst on one hand the bureaucracy is kind of short-handed, termination is executed with shockingly timely efficiency more so than much needed and definitely more dire activation (which could take up to a few days). Perhaps their attitude can be reflected in mere administrative procedure eh. Just saying.
