Cold soba
I know the weather's cold, but nothing ain't gonna stop me from loving cold soba. :)
1. Do not wash the starch off the soba before cooking as suggested by various websites. The uncooked noodles are going to cling together, which will lead to the next problem --
2. Separate the soba sticks when cooking so that the final product would not turn out lumpy. Washed soba becomes inseparable, causing the final product to be strands of soba stuck together, which leads to the next problem --
3. Stuck lumps of soba is uncooked. Luckily I decided to cook the soba longer than suggested, which greatly minimized the problem of uncooked soba. However, there is indeed difference in the single strand soba and lumpy soba.
4. Do wash the soba after it's done cooking -- with cold water at its best. Despite having washed the soba before cooking (highly NOT recommended), there's still so much starch after cooking.
5. Please just simply refrigerate the mentsuyu sauce. It'll be way much colder than simply mixing it with cold water.

Ramblings.
非常有成就感。
Super accomplished today though I'm nodding off. This is bad actually.. it's supposed to be the down time at The Workplace but I'm still tired (and still as busy) as hell! I had more sleep than I ever did for this year too. -_-"
Completed the montage, organizing of resources and went through the slides for presentation.
(and even watched a 1h45min video. How awesome is that.)

Minestrone Soup ;)
Ingredients
Everything is organic and original except for the spices and kidney beans.
Ain't gonna spoil my soup with uncooked beans cos beans will take a loooong time to be cooked. As for the spices, initially I bought organic ones, but I don't think I will finish using them in one session, so I opted for the preserved ones instead.
Final Product!
Verdict:
Easy to cook! Except time is needed for preparation. :)
Plus it's totally vegetarian and healthy, so why not. :)
