Leaving.

Just realized a little sad fact.
Now more of them are leaving.. and you feel that little tinge of sadness.
And now, someone whom you've worked with on a long term basis is leaving. X is almost everything you've always admired -- brains, looks, wit, eloquence etc. And you really feel sorry to see X leaving.
Yet, there's this dilemma. Both of you aren't close enough to keep in contact after that. And both of you weren't stranger enough to not know about X's leaving.
So how should one feel about all these partings etc?
What's there left after all the farewell and hugs?
What would you want to leave behind after you've left?
How you made them feel?
How you managed an issue?
Your working attitude?
Your personality?
Your smile?
Your beliefs, philosophy and principles?

Bought this bag for use at The Workplace since the original is spoilt and the seams are going to give way one of these days. However, due to its surprisingly spacious design and endearing tenacity for heavy stuff (my bag is always heavy without fail), I've decided to keep it for personal use. Argh. This totally defies my past practices and personal principles! T^T

Series of unfortunate incidents:
1. Didn't send out important doc as I was dead tired and busy with a lot of admin stuff yesterday
2. Raining on a Saturday Morning that I've a meeting to attend
3. Wore my shoes instead of flats, and now my only pair of working shoes is soaking wet
4. Not able to find organizers for another event
5. Multi-tasking is not working

Please don't start me with any Louis Cha's swordsman novels, Harry Potter, Higashino Keigo's or Cecelia Ahern's novels..... I won't be able to refrain myself from not flipping all the way till the last page..
