Trying desperately to send a huge powerpoint slide to one of them, and his inbox is full. So what's happening now is that, he's asking help from his dear OR calling upon his band of brothers to help out the situation. For instance, I forward it to his friend, who will msn it to him etc.
But, apparently, one of them is sleeping now. Another doesn't have msn. Another... MIA.
The best part of this is the ultimate climax. He smsed me the following message --

HAHAHAHAH. ROFL. Really!
Even though it's nothing fantastic, but seeing the situation as it is.. It makes the mere statement sounds really hilarious, especially if you know him personally, saying lame jokes with a straight face. hahah.

BUT, I really think they are a bunch of great friends since Sec 1.
Right after the glitch, the sleeping lion awoke and gave me his email address. The one who doesn't have msn gonna try fb. The other MIA-ed, B(ack)IA and gave me his email as well. AWWWW. *touched*
It's great to have great friends that stick by you and help you in whichever possible ways, even for the smallest matters. :) （简直就是用“两肋插刀、上刀山下火海、赴汤蹈火、在所不辞”的词句最恰当不过了~）
I hope they stay that way and stay as lifelong friends. :)

I guess the recent marketers (the last I caught was in 2009) for the education sector is quite good.
Their taglines are indeed catchy -- simple and go straight to the point.

Simple white wordings, no fancy fonts, against a blue background, it's quite fine I'd say.
I hope this inspires those who really do want to inspire.

Now that exams for most primary and secondary schools are over, it's nice to have a lively neighbourhood. :)

I'm unabashed to say that, at certain times, praises don't work really well on me.
I'm like kind of skeptical? And sometimes, it kinds of backfire?
ごめなさい。
《道德经》也有那么一句：“信言不美，美言不信，善者不辨，辨者不善，知者不博，博知道不知”。
老子的格言，还真的深入我心……

But, I realize, it's just what humans crave for (but I truly meant it from the bottom of my heart, because I was really impressed with the organization of the forms etc). I guess humans seldom hear such truthful positive things from others.



Anyways, as days proceed, you learn more about how people are like. The words of truth on first impression from a respectable 'senior citizen' is ringing in my mind -- the tell-tales. And, I must try hard to remember these words of wisdom from another respectable senior -- 会社で，友達はない。残念だけど，これは本気の真実です。人間は悪い。残念です。
Words are like double edged swords, they can nurture and convey warmth to others, or hurt someone with a scar that never goes away.

These few days --
My DAILY To-Do list is at least 10 items long (note: They are non-repetitive items from the previous day).
Never had a good night's sleep.
Never slept before 12.30am on a workday (without blogging time!).
Why is this happening? Shouldn't this be the time of the year where things should move at a slower pace? Sigh.

I realize that nowadays, my encoding of information is always in English!
Previously, I was trying to search for the quote I've read (because, on after thought, it's a really meaningful quote for me). I was flipping through the English papers I've read, or browsing through the English websites I usually visit. However, I just can't find it. In the end, I reencountered it by a stroke of luck. It was a passage in one of the Chinese scripts.

This afternoon, I was trying to recall a certain scene in a show I've watched. I remembered the last lines of the actor before he left the scene was "do not cut anything~~~", his voice trailing off.
Following my usual method, I tried to recall what English movies did I watch recently. In the end, I realized it was a scene in hk tv drama, D.I.E series B. -_-"
What's more exciting about this bit of information that I've retreived from the depths of my brain, I watched the entire series that's subbed with Chinese subtitles. ...........

Man, this is bad.. why am I encoding my information in English? Whatever happened in the process?
I hope when it's time for retrieval in Mandarin, I'll be able to get the correct phrasing.



Now, it makes me ponder a question they have asked me previously -- do I think in English or Chinese?


p.s. the entire irony of this post!! It's defeating what I previously thought..
