arabians!! [rgs psc'07]
i can't be bothered to blog xD.
lols. i love my day today (apar from the cny celebration =X)!
met up with some old friends from nyps'06 hahas - tom, huiyao, kengyong, bq, raash, yunyi and elizabeth =D quite fun ba we went to watch Epic Movie which makes you want to cry and makes you want to laugh. it's VERY lame.
why laugh? cos some of the jokes and incidents (it's a MAJOR parody btw xD) were rather funny and hilarious though the excessant focus on the malfunction of body limbs and sexual humour spoilt quite a bit of the show but overall....
it makes you wanna cry. :S the entire film did not seem really that filling and appropriate for the audience, too much local American parodies, too much lame stuff so much so that alot of the physics of the storyline turns entirely nonsensical (though if it was, it wouldn't be a parody). pls add in more un-sick jokes, director. waa i wasted $7.50! =S
after the show as the others had to go someplace else (mrt, far east sq ;)) only bowie, ningyu and i were left to proceed off to the orchard mrt bus stop opposite the station. of all the days to rain on, it had to rain big today, nearly drenched by the time we reached the bus stop cos i didn't have an umbrella and there was only one xD. lol so paiseh (i made them a little wet) yet fun!
then i had to wait for my bus! i came like 15 mins earlier but ended up waiting as long as her. if i might have counted the number of OTHER buses that really irritated me, it might have been 5 65s, 3 111s, 2 77s, 5 36s and 2 174Es (i take 174 and the Es don't bring me to my house stop =.=). thus reached the home bus stop only around 1845 =X
fwadidas hahahahahas my tests are all over! free. cyas. oh ya and we coincidentally met wenhao, yufan and their mbs friends at orchard rd mrt.

a beautiful day.
i now prefer reading other's blogs rather than blogging on my own blog as i currently am - kinda ironic, isn't it?! but this notion seems too selfish, i don't contribute yet i reap the contributions of my friends hahas. xD.
maybe it's more like we all contribute, just that i contribute less. *chuckles*
whatever it is, i'm still here.
'baifeng
i'm still here.
lol. i probably haven't touched my blog for a week or so. there's just too much for me to do nowadays. =X (and no boonie, i happen to be in sec 3, not jc yet =D)
there's always school homework and the sort. i have like a huge stack of notes that i'm probably never going to be able to file AND for ihc, there's a thick stack of notes to pore over. i understand that hp students (e.g. julian, bing, y3 etc.) all have huge commitments too. and for starters, i find myself feeling entirely OFF in most of my subjects. =X must improve those marks. luckily i still find enough time to surf the internet every day xD.
i really wonder why most people in council view it as a chore, another part of our hectic and tiring school life. i find council to be rather fun actually. maybe it's my ideas, maybe it's because i feel that everything in council is fun, no boundaries, minimal notes and being actually in the know of what i'm supposed to do (quite unlike some of the instances in school when i feel possessed and lose all drive to study).
on a much lighter note, =D chinese new year's coming again! it's so fun, we can go back to nyps to see the old teachers, hang out for a movie (perhaps happy birthday or da new jack neo movie XD) and cny means new clothes, a myriad of delectable food and bak kwa (or however else you wish to write it)! i queued up outside lee hock guan @ chinatown for 30 mins lehs, lucky it was rather cooling with the frequent breezes. hahas! looking forward to cny!
and in school, i'm just beginning to settle down into the 3O spirit, away from the hidden 2M'06 spirit (if there was ever one). now, along the corridors, many people constantly kick chapteh and in class we keep kampong soccer fever on! (with a green plastic ball that has seen much better days lol) poolside also turns out to be a good place to break out, nope not for the bee hoon and the chicken wing, but for the maltesers (did i spell it correctly?). for a vending machine, it's rather absurd and fantastic.
there was this time (around last week or so), when the maltesers light lit up and we pressed twix to get the maltesers, the thing was that i actually got 2 maltesers for the price of 1 (like jet and some other people) so fun! so i figured i would give it to the st.john's people in the class cos i had to rush off for a chinese debate briefing (it's next wed! and we're on the biased end of the debate =.=) =XX so excited bout debate - at least there's a challenge.
oops! just realised that i've gotta go and prepare some stuff for ilounge, it's opening next week.
see yas!

never lost*&
nowadays everything i do seems to be wrong. it's either i'm accused of being wrong, am really wrong, or feel that i myself am wrong. wrong. wrong.
take my recent composition for the commonwealth essay. i am pretty sure that the topic hinted at a more reflective expository writing so i wrote it from my own point of view but no, i'm now in band 4 (50%-60%) range because i wrote wrongly and my sentence structure sucks?! for the personal record, i take great pride in my sentence structuring and i must admit that i only do fail in my english vocabulary bank which seems to have never improved much in secondary school life.
take council, for instance. i seem to be doing and have done wrong things last year and this year. the speech! oh c'mon mr.aw,mr.chua and mr.lim, if you all were that free and that good at speaking impromptu and unprepared, then go and speak la. i feel that i did a satisfiable job in lieu of the time i was given the presentation materials (10pm the night b4) and the favour that i'm doing for this council. thanking me should be the way to go and encouraging me to improve my impromptu skills would be what i count on in exco members, though i'm sure most of the members just KOU3 YING4 XIN1 RUAN3. more on that sometime later.
take my recent series of late sleeping, just like what i'm doing now. late sleepin @ 11pm is obviously acceptable to myself, but not acceptable to my grandma. i can understand that but i need my freedom, i'm not being unfillial, but i really just hope for my freedom in my actions during this time i can spend at home. it's not everyday that i spend 4 hours slacking.
i'm now wrong for blogging. life's tough. sorry if this was too depressing, my eyelids are really dropping and can hardly open =X

cos it's you and me
whee! it's been a very very long time since i last blogged. i've been rather busy, be it managing my homework or making sure that icouncil functions fine. would like to first thank all those who've been participative and appreciative of what icouncil has been doing! =D without your support, alot would never have been a near-failure success! xD. let's do a short recap (esp. since i'm now deputy president in charge of welfare!!) :
1)there's ilounge.
- the improved version of the students' lounge '05 in cr8
- (usually) conducive environment for studying (or kicking soccer) in
- constant peer support
- computer usage guaranteed! and
- most imptly, a brilliant start-off point for iLounge '07
2)n ileague
- brainchild of zacklsj, finished off by me during T3 EOTA
- simple yet powerful and attractive idea
- needs so much more, it CAN be so much more.
- everyone had fun! (and that's what rly matters lol)
3)oh iSpark Nite =)
- essential end of year party
- an evening/night of enjoyment, great fun.
- showcased the drama/vocal talents within us (rmb animal farm, graduation song and the s4 plays)
- farewell s4s.
4)et EOTAs/EOYA
- mini-events for pure relaxation.
- brief analysis =D
- t1 eota: screwed. that's it.
- t2 eota: excitingly déja vu.
- t3 eota: we had our goals.
- t4 eota: zhai variety. yeah.
there's just a tiny bit for how we're gonna start off 2007.
2007
-ilounge improved. (new coms, newspaper rack.)
-ileague refined. (more detailed planning =D)
-events galore! (more inter-term events)
-and we're constantly on the outlook for more innovative/interesting ideas.
feel that i've blogged alot about icouncil welfare during this post lol. =D let's continue with...
HC INVESTITURE '07. crescendo. 升.
i'm really very excited about our council investiture this year. maybe it's cos i'll be part of the exco and i'll be taking part in the council item. =D
it's really just too breathtaking. let me get my breath back. *inhales deeply til face turns to deep shade of magnenta* xD.
wells, council invest will be taking place this wed =D and we get to skip lessons on the day itself! woot. and and and. this year youth flying club had 84 people signing up for it! record man. that was so totally random. hahas.
that being said, i'll introduce my new/old-but-back teachers.
English: Mrs. Yong. she's really someone i've known since s1 - english drama. teaches rather well and interests the class with very good ideas to spice up english! o i can remember this afternoon lesson, for 40 minutes, we were just discussing about some of our interesting stories to present to the class, and she also came up with quite a good "memorable" experience! i mean it that, she isn't slacky and she has a pretty understanding character. for now, at the very least. xD.
Chinese: Mr. Yang. really a character man. he's the teacher ic of cdc so he's chao chao drama. on the first lesson, he already used a very expressive face, coupled with a comprehensive learning structure from 4 simple words: 听说读写. he manages to bring them to life, i guess. but with the introduction of yazhou zhoukan, comes great terror within all of us that we'll probably fail chinese cause we sleep during that particular reading. =S
Maths: Mdm. Tham. lol, another teacher i actually know since last year. she was innovation prog. teacher i/c and someone who helped me alot. rather responsible and goes quite systematically at a good learning rate. though i've never been taught by her before, she strikes me as someone who is pretty good at organising time and works very very according to the book, unlike kevin cheng. and she's pregnant =X fourth child liao. totally random.
Biology: Mr. Lee. with the loss of kevin this year as an interesting literature teacher, we've the perfect replacement! =D leefy's jokes ALOT, and i mean it. as a biology teacher, he manages to inject humour and laughter into seemingly ridiculous jokes! and he's a good time waster. 20 minutes total each lesson spent on talking about "enrichment". enrichment? oh, just the talk about fantastic animal relationships (think chick-anaconda) on youtube and the like. hahas. i like it.
Chemistry: Mr. Loh. justin loh, completely devastating. =D cheerful, nice guy.
Physics: Mr. Chia. heard from himself that he just entered hc last july. he's very very practical, i could see him becoming a mathematician. even though he's middle-aged, he's a very frank and just a teacher who teaches what he needs to. no other words said. more to come from him i expect, but with him around, physics is not as boring already =D. oldie but goodie. XD.
IHC: Mr. Chng. yay, melvin's another teacher i knew since s1, he's edc teacher ic too! =) his teaching is very good, i can understand that he really knows his stuff. btw, we're learning geopolitics this year, that's international studies and singaporean politics. guess i'll get to know alot more about the world outside singapore, how countries co-exist. speaking of such, people keep commenting that he's incomprehensible but i actually can understand what he's saying. maybe i should've opted for humanities prog. o.0
IHE - Geo: Ms. Yap. she's a teacher i know to be in charge of sjab. that's st.john ambulance brigade. she seems to be quite in the know about the current trends and how the world is developing, which is something i would expect from a geography teacher. a brilliant storyteller who seems to have alot of experiences to share regarding Indonesia, Malaysia and Phillipines. from my inference, she travels quite a fare bit, is rather observant and has a relatively good memory. bien.
to type this, i took nearly an hour. =D haven't felt so high about blogging for so long. if i've the time, i'd go on windows live msgr to chat! but i don't. no decent s3 does. wahaha shall end with my list of committment.
SCHOOL. smrp. smp. mpp. bio. third lang. PROJECTS. literature. smrp. EP3. edc. yfc (vicechair). maths quiz. LEADER. icouncil dep. chair (welfare). angles ot.
"but i love being occupied." see ya.

once in a while. =D
really very busy nowadays especially with a whole pile of homework on the first three days so i'm going to close my blog for quite a while til a time when i feel free to blog.
so..
see ya.
of course i haven't abandoned my blog yet i'm just slowly turning into an actively dormant blogger. =.= hahas. have currently been very very busy cause my aunt's and her family's been over from sunny new zealand so have been visiting alot of places with her. =D
school's starting in like two, maybe one day more, (though it would be safer to say i have one day left to school) so have to rush alot of last minute work for iCouncil and guess what? my nyaa's still uncompleted. must chiong ar! surprisingly, in a mock stockwhiz competition with real figures from the singapore stock xchange, my group is "one of the tops" according to the organising teacher - quite a surprise considering we lost big money dabbling in petty stocks! =)
oh ya, and a...
Happy New Year ! 2007.
see yas.
yay. off to japan in less than 6 hours' time! hahas. =D
psst... it's warribee café! =)
i realised that i haven't blogged in a LONG LONG time muahahas. lol xD. and i also realise that the first line of any one of my posts (or maybe the first paragraph) is usually stuff to be ignored. =.=
wells. i'm a little sad coz the holidays are about to end but i guess i have had a nice holiday with quite a lot of stuff taking place during it so much so that i have so few days in which i'm entirely free to talk (with you xD) on msn and play computer games, mainly icouncil exco stuff. whee. speaking bout icouncil exco, we just went down to ecp (east coast park, not the highway!!) to basically recee the place and ensure that the location for the bbq (TOMORROW) would be ok. hahas, i went down abt 1.5 hrs after the supposed meeting time at 9 coz i had to go and get my domestic tickets for japan issued at cbd. in my opinion, we spent until 2 (or rather I spent til 2) from ecp to parkway but the time required for actual work was merely 10 mins? looking @ the bbq pit was 2, the other 8 was spent on looking @ cute little teddys and soft toys at parkway parade =D.
most of the time we were actually cycling (1.5 hrs) and the remaining was crapping around (like going to the public playgrounds, fitness centres and trying to hang on to a bar under a covered walkway xD). HEHE. not to say i hated it though it was chao chao fun, perhaps a nice break from sitting in front of the com for the whole day playing games =.= bah. zx was chao slow in cycling cos his bike was defected and i kept trying to catch up with wenhao and zack, the end result being that i lagged during the journey back to the rental shop =(
and i was organising my music library that day in both itunes 7 and wmp 11! lol. though hamachi, we can actually share music and listen to each other's music aka. ArtStrom's Puny Library or Melvin's Rather Anime Library =D or jingo's music. xD. try it too ba! my library's very small (bout 439 songs only) but wilford's is like 2.1days? i've seen bigger ones though, jing's one is 4.2, though i don't really know him in real life. =D lol. chinese love songs ftw! hahas i prefer chinese songs.
wells then, i'll be off (talk abt the bbq tmr and the movie we watched some other day probably in japan =X)!
japan - sapporo, sahoro, hakodate, tokyo, kyoto, takashima, nara, osaka, nagoya! (guess the odd one out lol xD)
this is just a refresh to tell you something hahas!
i'm still here xD.
going to japan nxt week hokkaido and all! =D
see ya.
ps. this is extremely short becoz of someone. lol
