And now...

Three kids later! That seemed quick!

Easter!

Last year I did a really bad job with Easter. It took me a really long time to get adjusted to having a baby and I didn't get an Easter basket for anyone or any cards or anything. Growing up my parents always had baskets for us and an Easter egg hunt in our yard. This year because Lulu's walking, I decided to put together a little basket for her and one for Dan (and myself, too). I also decided to host a small Easter egg hunt with my playgroup from DBC on Monday. Our emphasis for Easter is always the resurrection of Jesus, and I'm looking forward to when Lulu is older and we can do some fun activities the week leading up to Easter Sunday. But it was fun this year seeing her pick up eggs and get excited about a $1 bouncy ball in her basket. :)

I would post more pictures of our whole family, but Dan and I are usually behind that camera trying to catch Lulu do some funny things. And she sure does some funny things...

Lulu and her babies

This precious little girl has recently started to love taking care of baby dolls. Her two favorites, "Hailie" and "Kate" are dragged around all day, given their bottles, bathed (somewhat) and cuddled. She even sleeps with her babies. The other night I was watching her through our monitor and she threw all of her toys out of her crib except for Kate, which she cuddled until she fell asleep. What a little mommy she's turning out to be! She'll be a good big sister for her baby brother coming soon.

Lulu's first snow

I love the snow in Ohio. It doesn't seem to be icy, but it's really light and fluffy and fun to play in. People get out in the snow and go places. I've become more comfortable driving in it, too. We decided to take Lulu out a couple days ago before it became really really cold. She HATED getting her snow clothes on, especially her gloves and screamed and squirmed almost the whole time, but when we got outside she was quiet as a mouse and just stared and stared. She looked so cute in her too big snow suit! She enjoyed trying to walk a bit, and especially eating the snow. :)

Our 12 month old

Lulu's getting so big! She likes to hug her soft dolls now, smile cheesy smiles, and talk on the phone (or whatever seems like it could be a phone). She's such a precious part of our lives!

zoo days

I love that I live 10 minutes from the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium! It's nice to have a pass and be able to take Lulu. She's getting to where she can see the animals now, so that's fun. This past Friday, my parents and I went to the zoo. Lulu was particularly fond of the prairie dogs, so we got our pictures taken as some. :) My dad had a good time taking pictures of all the different animals. I told him he missed his calling as a wildlife photographer...
