Dear dear~ Its already the final half an hour before 2014 and I've just started to blog!
So what to blog about? Well, 2013 is really a good year to me, perhaps one of the most meaningful year in my life! Lets go through my timeline!
January: I've just came back from my Hong Kong trip with my family and STPM is over! I'm enjoying every moment of my life!
February: So I went to Sarawak, and this is my first phrase of my backpacking experience! being host by a local Chinese Sarawakien and met two friends from Sweden!
March: Went to Beijing with my mum in early March, first time traveling alone with my mum, and I'm the guide! It's freezing cold over there, too bad the snow was melting.
I went to Cambodia during mid March, alone! this is my second phrase of my backpacking trip, and also first time traveling abroad alone! backpack with two foreign friends, one from Canada and one from France. STPM result was released during my last day in Cambodia. I was so nervous! I received a few message congratulating me before I gain internet access to check my result. I got 4As! although not 4 solid As, but I was so happy! This is like a miracle! I cycle with a ranted bike with joy to Angkor Wat again(half an hour away from my hotel), just for the sake of my merryness! That moment is so special, my whole cycling journey is covered by my overwhelming joy, and I'll never forget!

Christmas Christmas!
Merry Christmas!!!
A blink of an eye huh? It's already the end of December!
So I'm experiencing a very different kind of Christmas this year, I'm having my finals!
Oh god!
Anyway, I'm driving to school recently, so I'm driving back to Penang to celebrate Christmas after my paper.
Can you believe it? I'm having Management exam on Christmas eve! 500 pages to cover! But I'm consider lucky compare to my friends, they are having two papers today!
So in order to create a holiday atmosphere among all those book reading zombie, I wore a Christmas hat into the examination hall! wahahaha! I'm so crazy man! but yeah! it's Christmas! like, who cares!
I managed to get over it, the examiners didn't ask me to take off my hat. One of the examiner even asked me my name and tease me that he taught I'm Santa Claus. haha
Hey, while writing this post, an idea suddenly pop up from my mind, why not I give out candies outside the examination hall? A random act of kindness! What do you think about it? :)

My November
Well, here I am, on the last day of November. It's been three months since my first day in university.
It has been two hours since I depart from Penang, and I'm still on the road.
There is so much different between the last time I wrote something on the road and today.
So what's going on so far?
I've organized a ghost house event together with my collage friends and it's a successful event although we had some problems with the JKPS seniors. We have been through a lot together.
How did we come up with this? Well, it's actually an idea of three girls from my collage, and they asked us whether we would like to help. We all agreed to help and we had a meeting. I was well, kinda elected as the Vice President of this event.
Things get nasty when I went back Penang in a random weekend. I received a phone call and was told that I'm the director of the event.
So we had meetings, some arguments, some trouble from the JKPS and of course, some fun time together and finally we were there, the ending point of this journey.
Somehow I'm really tired, but I've managed to survived this, and I'm glad I did, and also happy to be a part of the team.
Here are some photos taken during the last few days of the event.

A Man of Freedom
So my one week holiday is going to end soon, and I have to go back to UUM.
I'm so reluctant and I don't feel like going back.
My best friend Hean Tee asked me why, well, that's a good question.
First, you have to know the life in UUM. Well, there's curfew in my university, lights off after twelve. Although the authorities seldom check on us, but you feel guilty if you are not in your room after twelve. Even though you are not afraid of that and think that the school is busy enough to leave us alone, where can you go without a car? There is no entertainment within 10 Kilometers radius after twelve around you, and the nearest cinema is 45 minutes drive away from your hostel!
Dear authorities, I'm a man of freedom, in the age of twenty, I've been to 16 countries over three continents. TEN countries and TWENTY ONE cities over two continents on 2013 itself. No one gets to stop me where I want to go and I'm able to go alone. Culture different is not a problem and I have no problem walking alone in a country where they don't even share a common language that I know. I've met pickpockets, robber, scammers, poor, wealthy, nice guy and all different kinds of people and situations, and I manage to survive them all without a problem.
I couldn't say that I'm the best and I'm always right because I'm not perfect, but I believe that I've seen more then the others in the age of twenty and that's not the way to treat a mature guy by locking a freeman in a cage.
This is not how a university life should be, this is not how I imagine my life would become.

My Weekends
Instead of staying in UUM, I usually spend my weekends in Penang. This is just the second months I'm here, but I had went back Penang for more then three times. Well, It's not because that I'm home sick, I just feel like going home and have a break from all those activities and get myself ready for the coming week.
Well, my grandfather was admitted into hospital not long ago. This is one of the reason I went back often. I was so worried, but he is getting better by now.
So, I was just on time for two big thing this week! my dad's new Accord have finally arrived and it's my grandmother's birthday! Oh boy! it's almost five years since my dad last bought a new car, I'm so excited with it because I'm allowed to drive it! Look at this beauty!

Celebrated my grandmother's birthday that night. Although it's just a simple celebration, but I wish that you like it :)

YiLynn's birthday
So I was suppose to blog about her birthday last week, but unfortunately I left all the photos back in Penang. We, the TL gang celebrated YiLynn's bday on the 16th of September, five days earlier because I couldn't make it on the 21st of Sept. Sorry Lynn, I really wish that I can be there during your birthday.
Anyway, I booked the restaurant a day earlier before the celebration. Guess what, this is the second birthday celebration at 32 at the mansion. A great place indeed for birthday celebration and fine dining.
well, we had a great time together, updating each other about our university life and oh yea, Hean Tee is joining me in UUM!
32 at the mansion is a nice place, but too bad, Hean Tee double dated again and I have to drop him at Abu to join his friends so we left in a hurry and didn't managed to take more photos in this beautiful place. Hean Tee, do you have to do this always??#

7.9 a Life as a Student
Well, my IT lecturer wanted us to upload a lyric of a favourite song and I have to make this post relevent to what I want to blog for myself, anyhow, It's cool that I attended an underground music society few days ago and I'm going to blog about it now.
7.9 (in Mandarin) is an underground society in UUM. It's where a group of Chinese students gather during the evening to play music and sing songs together. I was introduced to this group by my senior and I'm really interested.
Attended the first gathering and I love the feeling of it. some of the seniors played guitar and electric piano and the rest of us singing the song played together. It's really relaxing and maybe because of the song and lyric, I feel the sense of belonging and this is how a university student's life should be like.

My University Life in UUM
So I'm finally back!
This is my third week in university, I wanted to update my blog badly but well, there's always an activity going on!
How was my orientation week?
I'm glad to say that I survived! Two hours of sleep everyday and our orientation last for one week! UGH! UUM is not the only university having this kind of crazy orientation week, well, although we (the UTBs) are all apart, but we managed to stay in contact using wechat. For what I know from the others, all of them are having the same crazy orientation week like I do. WHY Malaysian university have this kind of tradition? It's so torturing! All those talks and workshops! I was named the fishing king by my new friends because I was always sleeping during the talks. And one more thing, the toilet is really dirty during the orientation week, I think the janitors are still in their holiday, cockroaches and toads everywhere in the toilet and corridor! GOD! Imaging you are having a bath together with a toad in the middle of the night!
My DPP.
So we call our hostel DPP and I stay in DPP TM (I think TM sponsored or funded this hostel). I was given 3 hours to clean up my room when I first arrived in UUM. My roommate, Hong Wai was there first, so he get to choose which side of the room he want so sleep in. Good for him, I got the side which the outsider can look into my bed and study desk whenever the door is opened. It's really dusty and I have to clean my side of the room, but luckily the furniture are all new and my bed sheet matches the colour of the furniture very well.

Countdown: 7 days before university
Day 7
Meet two best friends of mine in MBS, the TL gang! Didn't went out together for such a long time! I'm happy that everyone can make it today, although HT seems to double date again. Had our lunch at Morganfield's, Paragon. Well, they are currently having lunch promo from only RM16.90! Honestly, the service is really good, the waiters are polite and as for the food, I think a rating of above average is fair enough for them (based of the food I ate).

Thanks to HT, he gave each of us a group picture before joining Stef. I like it very much, going to keep it in my wallet so I have something to look at whenever I miss them. Yi Lynn is going to USM and I think HT will be joining her soon, so this group picture is going to accompany me for the next four years. Well, hopefully we can still meet up during our semester breaks.
We watched The Mortal Instrument after HT left. The movie is OK, although some of the part is really funny. I don't really like the main actor of the movie. He is a skinny guy, and he is not handsome at all, but I believe that the director have his reason choosing him. Yi Lynn said that he is charming in his way, oh well, the actor is successful as long as he is able to attract girls.Had some cakes together after the movie at our old place - Delicious. Had a great time talking with YL. I don't usually go out with girls alone but I like to go out with her because I can be myself and we always have something to talk about.
Took this picture before going home, thanks to her again for the photos :)
Well, I was really quiet when we reached her home, so this is our farewell? I was really reluctant. I don't know how to say good bye, is this it? I really want to say Thank to you, YL for all the hangouts and being there for me, I'm glad to have you in my life, a friend that I'll never forget. I'm gonna miss you so much, take care, and all the best!

Countdown: 8 days before university
Day 8
I went to the club last night, it's my first time partying but I only had one or two glasses of alcohol because I was driving last night. Not a pleasant experience.
It's really hard for me to get up early, but I managed to join my family for an early jog in the Botanical Garden. Well, I cant afford to miss this once in a blue moon family day, especially when all six of us are here in Penang.
Had our family brunch together at 'New Zealand' cafe. I don't like this place when was a kid, I used to get angry when I know we are going to have our breakfast here because all I wanted is MacD. But things change as time goes by. Now I've learnt how to appreciate the good food here because I think it's impossible to have such good food in my university!
Managed to meet up again for an English hi-tea at E&O 1885 restaurant. Well, we wanted to have our hi-tea at China House, but we can't get a place for six and there's no place for us to stand and wait. Although we have to wait for another half an hour to be seated at E&O, we were just too lazy to find another restaurant again.Guys, if you ever plan to have an English hi-tea there, please be prepared to pay. We were told that sharing is not allow and we have to order six sets for each of us. Ouch! But you get what you pay for. Satisfying!
We paid our grandmother-in-law a visit after our hi-tea. I miss her a lot but I seldom visit her. Felt so guilty for not paying her visit often enough. I'm entering university very soon, I'll miss you. Stay healthy and all the best, I'll visit you whenever I can.
What's next? I'm meeting up with the Untahanable for a farewell dinner! And guess what, Piang, Saw, TW, TY and Jenn is joining us tonight! It's been awhile since we last meet, updated each other with our recent life and talked a lot about our university life soon. We are such a big crowd for a small place like this
Went to Esplanade for our second round, it's not really an ideal place for us to chat. Well, I didn't feel the feeling of separation yet, maybe it's too early, perhaps the feeling of separation will be stronger if we have our farewell on the last few days before university or the day before someone is actually leaving.
After saying farewell to Piang them, four of us (HT, CP, YL and I) went for a late supper at Abu. Talked about friendship and love. I was really impressed and admire how CP dedicated her love to her boyfriend. I wish that the others from UTB2 can make it tonight, or perhaps we should have another private farewell together with UTB2. We still have time, let's not waste it!

Countdown: 11th and 10th day before university
I'm finally back again! Gonna blog about my Cameron trip with the UTBs. Can I call it graduation trip? since we are all schoolmate and we are still in our graduation holiday~
Day 11 before university
As I mentioned in my previous blog, we were hanging out together until late night before the trip, so I didn't sleep very well (and HT didn't even sleep at all!). It's cool that the van came to my home to pick me up, so I can sleep longer then the others! thank you guys for tolerating :). As usual, had some small talks during the ride to Cameron. It took us five hours to Cameron Highlands and our first stop:
A random plantation in the entrance of Cameron Highlands. The weather is not as cold as we expected.
The girls are busy with their self portrait (even there's some one with a camera in front of them)
Lavender Garden (where HT used to mention before the trip but had totally forgotten about it and I have to remind them about it). Well, the lavender here is different from what I saw in France, perhaps a different type?
Here's out first group photo together, taken by the garden's photographer (berpattern-pattern)
The four deadly machine gun flowers
HT with his cupid (that's what he think it is)

Countdown: 12 days before university
Day 12
What a restless day! Meet up with PY to settle something together. I never think that I'll bump into anyone there as I plan to leave once I've collected my cert in MBS, and guess what? I was there when they finish their school! Never mind about that. After done paying our university fee, we had Blackball together. It must be my lunch that make me so sick, stomach ache! Didn't really enjoy the dessert at all. I don't usually use public toilet, but what can I do? Luckily the toilet is clean. Ugh, so humiliating!
Went out together with UTB2 again, I'm actually quite lazy, we are going to spend two days together soon, do we have to meet up? But it's still nice to see them, or else it's gonna be me and my books again. Spent my evening discussing about the trip tomorrow, Oh! I haven't pack!
My seventh trip after STPM! Although this is going to be a short trip and I'm not travelling far, but yea, stay tune, I'll blog about it when I'm back :)
SO MANY THINGS TO DO BEFORE UNIVERSITY!
-photostat documents for university and PTPTN, and get them verified my the government
-buy groceries, electrical appliances, bed sheet for university
-buy stem hasil
-renew my driving license
-pack for university
-farewell with friends
so many things yet to be done, and I only have 10 days left (excluding my Cameron trip tmr)
God bless~

Countdown: 15 days before university
Day 15
CATS!
I'm not a fan of cat, and I prefer dogs over cats.
I never imagine that I'll be driving a cat home in my life, and yes, today I'll be blogging about how it happened.
I was on my way back from my gym and I went across an injured kitten lying in the middle of the road. I can pretty much ignore it but I know I must do something.
I stopped my car in front of the kitten (because it's blocking me), and the car behind started to honk. Idiot, show some patients!
I moved my car to the side and the stupid car immediately went over, ignoring the kitten! I was shocked! but luckily the kitten is still alive.
I picked up the kitten and leave it at the roadside, at lease it's safe from the ignorant drivers. When I'm about to leave, the Indian lady from the house (where I left the kitten outside her backdoor) asked me to remove the kitten, showing no mercy, she nagged "if the cat die, it's gonna become a carcass, and I don't want to settle it, bring it to the opposite of the road, no one is living there." "so you are just gonna leave it like that?!" "I can't help!"
Fine! and lady, it's injured, not dying! I then bring the kitten across the road. Again, when I'm about to leave, I saw two crows and another two birds flying above, as if the kitten is already dead and they can finally have a satisfying lunch after days of hunger. OH MAN! like seriously? I shut my engine, find a piece of plastic, covered my floor mat and unwillingly, went back for the kitten again.
I found myself driving a kitten home!
I was having a very hard time fighting myself against the imaginary germs and bacteria of the kitten, and I can't wait to get away with it!
It's a mess under my car seat.
And can you see two small poo??!!
way to go kitty -.-
And here it is, kitty, you should just stay on the plastic! you are making my car dirty!
I can't live with a cat! But there's a person in my mind who's willing to take care of it. (at least I think so)
The hero is my housing area guard! He keeps a few cats with him and actually I'm really annoyed with his cats, but anyway, he might wanna keep this poor little injured kitten too!
He was not there when I bring the kitten over, but another guard ask us to just leave it there, he will tell the cat hero later.
That's how it ends.
Well, I'm not mister nice guy, but that's the right thing to do, and we have been learning about this since primary school. Remember those essays about picking up an injured animal and heal it with love and care? Yea, I finally have something to write about it! haha

Yea, I finally have something to write about it! haha

Countdown: 17 days before university
Day 17
Meeting up with my old buddies again.
meet ZY, WZ, FK & Jack, yea, all guys.
I just figure out that my high school life is so out of balance! I don't usually hangout with girls during those days. Anyway, those boys are still so childish, and I think I might be as childish as they are when I enter form 6, people must think I'm crazy!
Watched the Unbeatable. I have been waiting for this movie for so long! and WOW! GREAT movie I have to say! Look at their muscles, how they fight, how they train! It somehow motivated me to train harder in the gym! I have to get one of those posters in my room when I enter university, keep me motivated! hehe
It's very sad to say that I can't quite fit in to their conversations anymore. They are still working very hard in the drama society, but well, I quited drama since form 6. So, yea. I don't feel like part of the gang anymore. But hay, this friendship is still worth keeping, we've been through so many things together anyway!
Went out with the UTB2 again after dinner.
What a night! HT over slept, over shoot while picking up Imn, YL's phone went dead when we arrived Sampson's place, but six of us managed to meet up at LK Western that night.
Had a long chat, they are talking about boyfriends, sleepovers and so on, well, I kept quiet most of the time, because I don't have a girlfriend, but somehow I feel lucky because I'm still free from all those responsibility and tolerance.
Great night, I have to say. Six people is just nice.

Countdown: 19 days before university
Day 19
I just realize that I don't have much time left before university,
Especially when you know that things are going to be so different there in UUM.
I had my breakfast with my grandparents and siblings and went out with two groups of friends today.
Had a lot of fun together with my ex classmate, I really think that I should make taking self portrait photos with friends a habit! I just realize that I don't have any photos with them to post here.
Anyway, went red box with py and ck, ended up letting them tease me about my favorite song!
Meet up with ken after that to help him out. He is buying cloths for his brother's wedding soon, and he is having a hard time deciding what to buy. First time picking so many cloths from the shop without looking at the price! So shyok man! Too bad the cloths are not for me. Haha, but we had a great time.
Meet up with HY, a best buddy from HEHS for dinner.
We knew each other since form one, and you may know him if you ever heard about my form one crazy online game freak story. Yea, we used to play maple story together and talking through phone for hours.
Surprisingly I didn't even feel awkward meeting him tonight. We talk so much that I almost forget about the time!
8 years of friendship! Not easy at all! Although we didn't meet up all the time, maybe only a few times a year, but man, I'm glad we can still keep this friendship going. Oh, he also helped me during my campfire two years ago!
He is having a hard time recently, things doesn't seems well, but I believe that he will get through it, and I sincerely hope all the best to him.
Thank you for the day friends and family.
I'm so grateful to have you guys sharing this wonderful day with me.
Peace out

My Hari Raya With UTB2
Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!
I've been locking myself in my room for days,
I can see the laziness in me has developed into a critical situation and I need a day out!
so I'm actually the person who asked my friend out in the first place,
but I turn out to be the guy who almost didn't show up because of pure laziness.
Anyway, here I'm, 9am in this wonderful holiday, sitting here in MacD waiting for my friends.
they didn't show up, I couldn't wait anymore and I don't want to have MacD's muffin as breakfast.
Come on, not today. I wanted to find something so healthy that I ended up with Ham Jim Peng (which is not healthy at all) because I've wasted too much of my time looking around!
Wonderful!
First stop, Penang Hill!
I feel ashamed to tell you that, I've never really been to Penang Hill!
anyway, I made it today.
to my surprise, we actually got a better cable car then Hong Kong's The Peak!
well, it's a cloudy day, and the peak is covered with mist, so we didn't really get a great view of Penang.
But i believe that It's going to be beautiful up here if the day is great.
here is a group photo of us, one with PL and one with me.
oh and the guy with purple shirt is CP's boyfriend
Bukit Jalil,

20th Birthday
Celebrating my 20th birthday with the UTB2.
Didn't celebrate during the actual day because I'm with my family.
What can I say,
I was late for the BBQ party actually (sorry),
arrived there around 9 something,
I was a little bit defensive that night,
don't want to be fooled by them,
I guest I'm over protective.
here is how it goes:
Hean Tee asked me out earlier and he changed the time from 7 to 8pm that day.
I arrived home around 6 something and waited for his call.
He didn't reply me until 8 something,
and I'm actually very hungry and had taken my dinner by the time he replied.
I thought he is gonna cancel the celebration (he told me only PL and SY can make it, pretty hard to believe huh?)!
okey, so I drove to paradise and I didn't pick up PL's phone call,
purposely.(I'm driving that time)
Who knows what will he come up with, his words are very convincing sometimes.
walk along the beach and saw them because of the bright light and loud voice.
Okey, didn't expect there's gonna be a BBQ party,
nice surprise, and I do appreciate it.
Always wanted to have a BBQ party there ever since the last time (which I guess it's almost one or two years ago)

I'm happy with the celebration and special thanks to HT,
being told that he contribute a lot.
was expecting some alcohol and maybe an overnight stay actually,
but that's more then enough.
Oh ya, and my birthday gift from the UTB2,
a cool poster of us with my botak profile picture!

*oh and I'm wearing my new birthday spectacles and shirt (both UK brand) from my family! look how I value this gathering ;) *
PS: I still don't get it why all of you greet me happy birthday on the 22th instead of 21th. All I can come up with is you guys pakat. But what for? LOL

Days in Europe
I'm gonna blog about my second trip to Europe here,
Yeah, second!
Didn't expect to go Europe twice a year,
but hey, it's my sister's graduation!
to be honest, this is not a backpacking trip,
I spend most of my traveling time with my sister,
and it's so different from my last trip!
I usually had sandwich or pizza to fill up my tummy last time,
but my sister insist to have a proper meal,
cost me a lot, but luckily my dad is paying for the accommodations this time!
thanks dad! :)
I'd say this is more to family trip.
it's so nice to have someone taking photos for me and accompany me along the journey.
And my mum joined us during our last week in France!
woohoo! nothing is better then to have a patron traveling with you in Europe!
A totally different experience in Europe.
what can I say more? I'm so grateful for everything!

Went to Camden town with my sister, and found this big horse head with huge nose. Haha! I just have to do that!
Buckingham Palace, well every tourist have to do this I guess.
