Pink IC!!!

Well, started my bright sunny day by going back to camp with Xi Ci to get our pink IC (smells pink). Keke. Went to the boring welcome ceremony during the noon.

The most exciting event of the day is the Hall's initiation run during the evening. Well, the usual stuff that was played include trust fall and blind walk.

Blink communications was something new that I played, objective is to communicate with blindfold to arrange ourself in a certain order, age or height or others. After that was a walk in the sewage, kind of dirty.... reminds me of the time I did line laying during my signal course. The last item was to slide down a slope.

On the whole, my impression of the initiation run was more like a confidence obstacle course.

After everything, we were made to drink a wierd drink, sort of like cereal mixed with rose syrup, really wierd, but not really bad.

We then had supper, delicious Boon Lay nasi. Quite good chilli with an egg and chicken wings plus nicely cooked coconut rice.

UCAS Application

Oh, some ego booster that I got today. My UCAS application that I've made earlier (before I got my place in NTU) yield me places in Universities that I never thought that I'm able to go in. Though Southampton and Cardiff Universities has rejected my applications to direct 2nd year in their courses, I'm suprised that more reputed Universities such as Leeds, Sheffield and Warwick are willing to accept me. Well, the only university that has yet to respond is Birmingham. First time in my life did I feel recognition given for what I had done. =)

Wow, new confidence found from within. Keke. =)

Feeling terribly shag from 2 weeks of FOC - namely CAC and Hall 3. It's really a mental challenge to do 2 weeks of FOC without taking a few days break in-between. Oh well, this is an experience once in an entire life.

The 2 weeks of FOC gave me new experiences that I never had in my poly life. The new games, great cheers, songs, very "on" new friends and wonderfully spirited teams kept me going till yesterday, which I consider an achievement. Really must thank my new found friends for being understanding on my reluctance on playing the last games due to withering spirit and blisters on one foot and recurrence injury on the other.

Well, the end of FOC marks the begining of my University school life. I hoping to excel and overcome all obstacles that will be in my way. =)
