3 movies to catch this season!!

Watched the following movies over the past 2 weeks, highly recommended!! Really love the action and plot of Warlords. National Treasure is funny at time, but the action and keep you on the edge scenes are damn shiok la! If you love dark drama with a murderous intent; Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber on Fleet Street is for you! Kudos to Johnny Depp & Tim Burton!

Damn... guess i'm going back on my words guys... i don't think i'm going to take the sim-uol program.. i dun like a lecture only environment with all of my hard work decided on a single exam at the end of the year.... dangerous la! not to mention.. it's a 3yr bachelor lvl course... quite waste time ya..

and recently I have been feeling the urge to study B.I again... business is easy ya.. but i don't feel the rush and stress of I.T... which make up nice memories in poly :P

Chances is I'll apply for Monash University's Bachelor of Information Technology & Systems, majoring in Business Systems. Most likely i will take a Masters in Business after that.. Let's see how things go ya... :)

New Day @ Supply & Transport Centre, Army Logistic Training Insituite!

Today is my 2nd day as a supply supervisor trainee @ STC, ALTI @ Sembawang Base. Attended 3 lectures from 10am till 5pm la.. hiong! alot of pep talks and stuffs like leadership and some concept thingy.. hardly rmb!

was grp with a grp of trainees consisting of 3 other privates, 2 Master Sgts, 1 2nd & 1 1st Sgt... not to mention.. a 2nd Warrent Officer!!!! All of them are trainees, going through conversion to logistics line... while in de grp, 2WO Jeffery talk to us about his experience and thoughts, very insightful! this is perhaps the 2nd time i have such a talk to a WO lvl character, the previous was last week, a short but informal chat with 2WO Kelvin... fun guy... anyway 2WO Jeffery mention that logistican are facing real-world problems, as compared to our combat counterparts... the combatants fight against simulated enemies, fires blanks most of the time... train under conditions that might compromise quality due to safety red tapes (as i witness during fieldcamp).. and even during a real war, the 1 that face the most danger might not be the infantry or armour etc... it's the logistic dept... war strategies have emphasis the cutting off/ destruction of supply lines to disrupt enemies.. so there you have it!

and guess what! we might not stay in next wed!! might be nxt nxt monday because of some delay in installation of such stuffs at the old naval diver unit block (our new home)

saw meng, ocbc, joel and a few other eagle guys earlier this morning, apparantly they are here for driving course and will be staying in for a mth or so...

the place is damn fine, but i am really having a hard time keeping myself awake!!!!

My hoot for today! Sony VGN-CR22! Absolutely love it's sleak and sexy look man! Got it for S$1835 from best denki. Scout around for 1 month, hence it's the best replacement for my current acer laptop. Didn't put consideration into the graphic card dept as i know i don't really fancy pc games... with exception to mmorpg, of which the graphic card thru some research is enough to take the load of mmorpg gaming.

Quite surprising it loads up pretty fast and can handle me playing maple + virus scan simultaneously! something that i can't do with my old acer that has serve me since April 2004. A grand 3 years & 8months!

The spec is gd engh for multi-tasking, web surfing, office work, video/dvds and light-moderate gaming.

Interestingly, i always thought onboard graphic card sucks. But apparantly, some intensive research have lead me shown that it can play C&C 3, BF 2 and WOW! Shakugan No Shana

Yuji Sakai, a high school student, expected his very normal life to last forever. However, this expectation is quickly shattered one day while on his way home.

The world suddenly freezes in time, leaving Yuji to watch in horror as blue flames engulf the people around him. Soon a monster resembling a large doll appears and begins sucking the flames into its mouth, until it notices Yuji. Surprised with Yuji's insusceptibility to the time-stop (fuzetsu), it jumps with glee.

Just as the monster prepares to consume Yuji, a sword-wielding girl in black attire with flaming red eyes and hair that burns like embers appears, swiftly and confidently destroys the monster, before noticing Yuji moving freely. The girl calls herself a "Flame Haze" who hunts the "Denizens of the Crimson Realm" and the "Rinne" they send to do their bidding. When Yuji notices a blue flame in his chest, the Flame Haze tells him that the "real" Yuji died some time ago, and that he is a "Torch", a temporary replacement for erased humans. Torches take on the forms of those erased persons, but after a period of time, they will vanish from existence and the memories of the living. Unfazed by his apparent death, Yuji befriends the strange girl and names her "Shana" after her sword. The reason Yuji was able to move in the fuzetsu is that he is not a normal Torch, but instead a special kind called a "Mystes": he has a treasure inside him, known as a "Hougu", a device possessing special abilities of sorts, and an extremely powerful and valuable one at that. The hougo inside Yuji allows him to remain in existence rather than fading away like other torches. Shana resolves to protect Yuji from the Denizens, who would use the treasure to disrupt the balance of the world, and Yuji decides to join Shana in her fight.......

Came back from platoon (actually more like section) bbq/chalet at pasir ris @ 4am this morning! had a short nap from 8-9am, but couldn't contain my excitment! BECAUSE MY POSTING WILL BE OUT AT 10AM!!! WHICH IS LIKE 10 MORE MINUTES!

Significant being, it will decide what i will be doing, how will i live and how i go to work for the remaining 1.5yrs of my N.S life! Damn! I feel like waiting for poly semester's results!

Oh btw; ytd food was great! the best quality food bbq i have ever been to! solid chicken chops and kebabs! Damn sinful! heng i ate quite little (as compared to previous times)... so yea...

and my hands are trembling right now!

FINALLY THE DAY ALL EAGLE BOYS ARE WAITING FOR! THE FAT FUCKS HAVE FINALLY ENDURE AND GRADUATE FROM THEIR 6 MONTHS OF BMT!


Finally passout! Really happy that it happen! Though the last night spent at Eagle coy was mix with excitement, anticipation with a tinge of sadness... after all.. we have endure 6 god freaking months together with all kinds of shit. Ran numerous km, lift numerous weights and not to mention pushups, Buddha claps and crunches. The tekan. The sai kang. The friendship. Precious.

Most memorable period is w/o a doubt during the 5D/4N Field Camp, 3D/2N Situational Test, Live Range & Grenade Range... expose me to alot of new things.. field tactics.. and stuffs like that.. how could i forget the bone shattering blast of the grenade when i hid behind the concrete wall and the recoil of my 1st live shot. (It's a hit by the way) ... Field camp and SITEST change the way i look at soil. Before that, I'm always reluctant to sit on dry or slightly moist soil for fear of soiling my pants.. aiya.. is dirty in general. But once you go to field camp.. they are precious spots that everybody is snatching to prone at. kekeke.. not to forget guard duty.. ultimate siong in the mental sense.... and the route marches... no joke!

All in all, BMT has made me a stronger person physically, but even more so mentally. (I know i can still be strong mentally in years to come... physically... not too sure :P)

The BMT period will always be something in my life that i cherish & remember! Always!

Ho seh la! finish 24km route march despite my fever... really feel like falling out after the 8km rest point... but thank god i endure it, and thru the entire week.. if not i would miss the 'parade-in-the-rain' and graduation parade rehearsal... in a flash of an eye! who would expect? 6 bloody months! damn!
