Dear all, I'm back again! Tired tired!

This entire week was mostly devoted to arms drill and rifle technical handling... enjoy stripping and assembling the M16S1.. heard from sgt and officer that M16S1 is extremely error prone... and improper positioning of it while firing will result in jam as well.. -_-' how to fight war... maybe should convert to AK47.. reliable and cheap.. able to strip the rifle in ard 30 seconds.. assembly takes appx 50 seconds.. argh.. because i always have issue inserting the retaining pin to the bolt carrier group... Lazy to upload a picture of it... keke...

Didn't do any PT because i was granted EX-RMJ cox of my back pain... keke.. EX-RMJ = Excuse Running, Marching & Jumping... keke... but i march ytd and today anyway.. because our platoon spirit was so fucking high.. and i just can't miss the march... hahaha

Movies I'm going to catch in the next 2 months!

This riveting thriller features Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale as a couple whose car breaks down, stranding them at a very dangerous hotel. Director Nimrod Antal carefully builds the suspense as the film gradually leads to horror when the hotel turns out to be a snuff film operation, with cameras everywhere and lots of truly horrific videos of past murders (shot in the same room) lying atop the TV set. The couple needs to think fast before they become the next victims.

It takes a wide screen to fully capture Homer Simpson's stupidity, and, THE SIMPSONS MOVIE does it. In the eagerly-awaited animated feature film based on the hit TV series, Homer must save the world from a catastrophe he himself has created.

Top cover girl and fashion model, Jennifer Tree (ELISHA CUTHBERT) has it all - beauty, fame, money and power. Her face appears on covers of hundreds of magazines. At the top of her game, Jennifer is America's sweetheart. She is loved and adored and sought after. Everyone wants her. But someone out there has been watching and waiting. Someone wants her in the worst way. Out alone at a charity event in Soho, Jennifer is drugged and taken.

Held captive in a cell, Jennifer is subjected to a series of terrifying, life-threatening tortures that could only be conceived by a twisted, sadistic mind.

Part teenage romantic comedy, part horror flick, DISTURBIA stars LaBeouf as the troubled Kale, who is confined to his home under house arrest after he punches out his Spanish teacher in the middle of class. Kales array of available diversions dwindle considerably after his mom (Carrie Ann Moss, MEMENTO) shuts off his X-Box and his i-Tunes, and he turns to voyeurism instead, carefully noting the daily activities of his neighbors.

These include the swimming schedule of the hot girl who just moved in next door, Ashley (Sarah Roemer, THE GRUDGE 2), whom he ogles with his best friend, the class clown, Ronnie (Aaron Yoo, THE BEDFORD DIARIES).

When Ashley unexpectedly shows up and wants to know what the boys are doing behind their binoculars, they concoct a story about their neighbor, Mr. Turner (David Morse, PROOF OF LIFE), and their suspicions that he is the serial killer currently on the loose.

The teens subsequent stakeout makes them increasingly convinced that this is in fact the case, and their creepy interactions with Turner bring them ever closer to learning the dark secret that lies inside his impenetrable suburban existence.

In the hilarious new animated-adventure, RATATOUILLE, a rat named Remy dreams of becoming a great chef despite his family's wishes and the obvious problem of being a rat in a decidedly rodent-phobic profession. When fate places Remy in the city of Paris, he finds himself ideally situated beneath a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. Despite the apparent dangers of being an unwanted visitor in the kitchen at one of Paris' most exclusive restaurants, Remy forms an unlikely partnership with Linguini, the garbage boy, who inadvertently discovers Remy's amazing talents. They strike a deal, ultimately setting into motion a hilarious and exciting chain of extraordinary events that turns the culinary world of Paris upside down.

Remy finds himself torn between following his dreams or returning forever to his previous existence as a rat. He learns the truth about friendship, family and having no choice but to be who he really is, a rat who wants to be a chef.

Chris Tucker returns to the big screen after a six-year absence as he reunites with the all-star team of co-star Jackie Chan, director Brett Ratner (Rush Hour, Rush Hour 2, X-Men: The Last Stand, Hannibal), and writer Jeff Nathanson (Rush Hour 2, Catch Me If You Can) to deliver the third installment of the blockbuster Rush Hour franchise.

After an accident in the mysterious lab of maniacal scientist Dr. Simon Barsinister (PETER DINKLAGE), an ordinary beagle unexpectedly finds himself with unimaginable powers and the ability to speak. Armed with a fetching superhero costume, UNDERDOG (voiced by comedian JASON LEE) vows to protect the beleaguered citizens of Capitol City and, in particular, one beautiful spaniel named Polly Purebread (voiced by Academy Award® nominee AMY ADAMS). When a sinister plot by Barsinister and his overgrown henchman Cad (PATRICK WARBURTON) threatens to destroy Capitol City only UNDERDOG can save the day.

The Seventh Month. The only month in the Chinese lunar Calendar when the Gates of Hades are thrown open, and ghosts, spirits and all departed souls make their annual pilgrimage back into the land of the living.

In the seventh month, Chinese folks in places like Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong burn incense and joss sticks, conduct prayers and make offerings to the returning dead. In Singapore, however, they take the business of placating and entertaining the spirits one step further. They have "getai" (song stage), makeshift concerts which pop up all over the island.

Each year, more than 500 of these concerts take place during the Hungry Ghosts Month. Entertainers lined up include comedians, magicians, opera performers and singers with garish costumes and even more elaborate dance choreography. Royston Tan's new movie 881 unfolds against this unique cultural backdrop in Singapore. It is the story of two childhood friends who grew up mesmerised by the glitter and glamour of getai. They are The Papaya Sisters, two of the showiest performers on the circuit because the "song stage" with all its pomp and pageantry is a respite from the emptiness and dreariness of their own lives.

881 will mark yet another breakthrough for Royston, whose first feature film 15 is a visceral and gritty look at teenage delinquents. His second film 4.30 - about a latchkey kid and his Korean tenant - surprised audiences with its pared down, meditative and almost lyrical storytelling.

This new film is a musical, with glitzy costumes and lavish choreography. The actors often break into song to express their emotions. All the numbers in the movie are from the treasure trove of the late Chen Jin lang, a Singapore getai songwriting legend who died in August 2006. A cross between Dancer In the Dark and Moulin Rouge, 881 will also feature documentary-style (ie "live") footage which captures the fever and excitement of actual getai performances.

Opinions on Harry Potter 5, Die Hard 4.0 & Transformer

Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix

Unless you absolutely have to watch it, you might want to give it a miss. Probably the worse in the movie series. The movie is like trying to cramp every single thing into 138mins. Sure there are nice parts, but i feel like as if something is missing. None of the characters have enough 'personal time' to develop their character, particularly the members of the Order of The Phoenix. One probably need to read the book to understand some parts of the movie better.

6/10

One of the best action flim I watched this year; action, eye candies, gadgets all sums up to a fine flim from Director Michael Bay and Executive Producer Steven Spielberg. Character has adequate time to develop their character, with exception to the Josh Duhamel (The Special Forces Captain). I feel that abit more time could be devoted to his personal life. Nonetheless, a very fine movie! Must get the DVDs la!

8/10

Kinda a disappointment. Storyline is pretty thin, the entire 2hours is pretty much chasing and running around and action. Action is top notched without a doubt. Recommended too

7/10
