Another week of attachment has ended! 10 more weeks before we are freed! Seriously, I’ve enough of working in such ‘serious’ working environment… argh…… can’t wait for the remaining 47 days to be over! I want my allowance!!! Need to get a HDD… have to backup all my pic! De computer crash last Sunday was too much for me.. I didn’t know a simple window recovery operation would result in reformatting of the HDD :O horrific! Heng I manage to find some recovery disc copies I have made a few mths back… apparently.. got back all my pic, except the 0402 bbq, 0402 seoul garden trip, AA2006, and Pulau Ubin pic… thanks to some divine intervention and lazy attitude.. I manage to retrive ¾ of the AA2006 pic from my fujifilm and 0402 bbq from de casio 1… pulau ubin, manage to get it back from the internet… seoul garden from hanyu … hahax… so basically is wan zheng le… till now, haven upload the malaysia trip pic with my family from the last’s last HDD crash.. think cannot find it oso.. house is too bloody messy…

Last tues, after work, went to town and had dinner with some of my classmates.. tok abt future plan and stuffs.. it’s pretty good to engage in such activities after work.. clear your mind of worries and indulge back in school days ^_^

1st day of break after 5days of break..... ^_^

report for work on monday... was an excellent experience! made my security pass and retrive my IBM thinkpad laptop.. Woot! the corporate culture is great toO! u can come to work anytime, go home anytime.. nobody will care how long you lunch! but like what my OIC say... discipline is the key! got to know IBM on a greater depth and of course great fellow interns! i was attach to IBM AP HQ, sales & distribution asean... cool shit! been doing excel work and familization for the past week.. till now.. guess i have roughly gasp the basic knowledge of ibm work culture.. another cool aspect is that i can install any printers that is on IBM network and i can print stuffs out from say... new york or tokyo! cool! haha.. have tried various location for food... cost saving wise.. the best is the cafeteria... if u dun want to eat too much, yet have alot of money & time to spare.. airport is the best place... i.e chicken rice of abt 1/3 size of wat u can in nyp @ 3x the price u can get @ nyp!!!

got to knw some pretty great pple in IBM.. a great place to work/play/study... hahax.. frankly.. i'm looking forward to working there nxt wk!! provided everything remain as it is now.. haha.. as compare to other interns.. i guess i should be very content in-term of both pay, environement, workscope as well as the social factor... ^_^

went out with pl on thurs night.. saw helmy.. had a short but meaningful chance met @ tampines... haha.. kinda glad to see a fellow classmates.. hai... miss de school days.. den ate @ pastamania with pl and watch big momma hse 2.. mm.. an average movie i would say... pl seems hagged.. and withdrawn.. hai... becox of her work... knew she hates it... she have been crying reguarly.. bad that can't be with her to console... hai...

anyway.. have been customizing my laptop for a good part of today... finally! i customize every aspect of my laptop to look exactly like a Mac OS X Tiger!! but under the facale.. it's still running on windows la.. hahax :P

when to expo ytd... to find pl lunch.. shun bian check out my workplace for 3mths... damn far and tiring to go there! tested out 2 routes...

Route 1 (To)
1)walk 10mins to a bus-stop ... have to walk 6-7 blocks away and cross a bridge
2)wait 10mins for the bus 24 ... is a direct bus to expo.. took roughly 50mins... (de bus broke down halfway.. the 2nd time in my life!! cool shit.. didn't count the repair time)
3)upon reaching the expo bus-stop.. i have to cross a bridge.. walk across de wide car park.. walk ard hall 6 of expo... and walk pass de expo mrt.. and walk somemore.. 20mins

Verdict 1hr 30mins (Direct... but tiring to walk)

Route 2 (Back)
1)walk 10+ minutes to expo mrt + another 15mins for the train waiting for traveling
2)5mins @ tanah merah mrt.. wait for east bound train
3)journey to paya lebar Mrt 20mins
4)cross over a bridge and wait for bus 135... 10mins
5)journey 25mins
6)walkover to my hse 5mins

Verdict 1 hr 30mins (In-direct.. but save de effort for walking)

of course choose route 2 !!!

can't wait for work to start on monday! so anticipating! might be gg out to buy clothes with de guys tml ^_^

the Sun certified java programmer course is so damn difficult!! on the 1st lesson... aleady appx 10% of de pple nv turn up.. subsequently... pple start dropping out too... den left only like 60% of de original strenght by sat evening... lol.. i oso nv take le la.. cox mr Lee c.b recommend we, who are on internship to take next semester... cox like that hen stress... + is kinda difficult.. so might as well.. lOl :P

man! was posted to IBM SINGAPORE!!! kinda shock to be posted to such a zai company... angeline with me too.. but @ another dept, under another laison officer... got this gal fm 06 oso same LO with me.. eddie with us too... when my classmate ask wth i m attach to ... was kinda shock.. wan't even say it out properly.. unbelieveable! all my classmates whom are on attachment are all posted to reputable companies!!... can only rmb 6 of them... IBM, StarHub, Inland revenue authority of Singapore, Civil aviation authority of Singapore, OCBC and Siemens!

Had a great time ytd @ my class bbq... though the turnup of pple wasn't impressive.. @ least it shows some pple actually bother coming... nt tokin abt those be'cox got valid reasons then cannot come la... well... had some great food.. de sea breeze was fantastic... went thru de park maze... *btw we were bbq @ pasir ris park.. courtesy of hui ming... de maze was like.. pretty thrilless.. was gg to try the infamous 'yellow tower' but all kinda freak out... hahahax... den went went to macdonald had some light breakfast.. okay.. me eating nia lol... before that was playing this fun card game and trash talk... the playground was fantastic!!! Love that wheel thingy!!! spin-spin-spin Muhahaha! morning went back home with jj & hui ming via cab... conclusion of 1 of our last few poly yrs gathering... all gonna grad in a yr .. sad case
