Went and watch Dawn Of The Dead with a couple of frenx this afternoon.. Wah starting aleady so dramatic liao.. It starts with 1 - 2 patients with bite wound being sent to the hospital in which the protagonist was working at.. den she went home... make out with his hubby, den nxt morning wake up saw her daughter's ( my frenx say she isn't..so is she? ) mouth in a mangled mess... den the daughter proceed to bite out a chunk off his father neck... WAH LAU.... The blood spurt out ...lolx, den after the father bleed to death, almost immediately he tio resurrected... then the protagonist a.k.a main actress a.k.a Ana run and hide inside the bathroom... den the stupidest thing somebody can do in such a situation is attempting to put ur ear onto the door to listen out for noise..how lame can it be...As predicted, his zombified husband bash thru the door` den Ana climb thru the window and fell outside... Then her neighbour warn her dun get close to him, i guess because her whole shirt was in blood, so naturally that guy was damn freak out.. Ans den BLOODY HELL! An ambulance speed past and knock that poor guy like a rag doll... i burst out laughing! lOlx ( How unsensitive Lolx ) Then Ana drove the car away...but her zombie husband chase after her... den that zombie husband change target and went after an old woman on the lawn of her house....(Talk abt at e wrong place, at the wrong time lolx) Unlike other zomebie movies, example.. Resident Evil, the zombie in dawn of the dead can actually RUN! Machaim olympic runner le... u c resident evil the zombie...drag their feet 1...so much so that i can row away on the floor faster den they run...Lolz. Then Ana was driving down the highway when she was almost car-jack by a man, and den she loss control over the car and crash down a cliff... She regain conscious, climb out of the car, and met Mr. Policeman, Kenneth, of whic later they met 3 more survivors, Michael, Andre and his Pregnant russian wife, Luda.
They trek their way to a Crossroad Mall..where they camp there.. I was wondering...how come shopping mall glass bullet prove 1 huh...They check out the place, then michael open a door and saw a zombie eating it's victim..OMG.. the effect is SOOOO GD! The entire stomach region was expose, showing the stomach, liver, ileum, colon etc... ARGH! Somemore that guy being eaten i think alive wor..I SAW HIM PANTING!!! ARGH GROSS OUT... They took the lift to the upper levels where they met 3 F...-up security guard, lead by a monstachy dude call C.Y.. Then they decided to draw out the word SOS on the roof, and spraying the walls and writing banners with " HUMAN INSIDE ", "HELP US" lolx... Then they met the a sole survivor, by the name of andy... he was across the street, camping on the top floor of his shop... a weapon stock shop to be exact lol! It was funny watching Andy, and Kenneth communicate...they communicate whic each other by a white board and marker, and a binoculars... They even had time to play chess long distance style! Lolx.. The rest of the survivors in the mall also have a great time...trying on clothes, freeflow of beers, food etc... playing golf on the roof, while trying to hit the zombie hordes below with a golf ball...hahax!By the time, there was aleady a crowd of zombies below...machaim outdoor concert like that... jia lat lol... Andy, the lone survivor over at the gun shop across the street use a sniper rifle to take out their ex-frenx and neighbours who have aleady become zombie...with the big gang over at the mall's roof giving suggestions of who to shoot...lolx...Wah admire them man...the situation so damn jia lat....still got time to play...daoz`By then, a new gang of survivor arrive by truck to the mall... but some aleady tio bitten liao...ultimately... an old woman and a middle-age man both mutated... That old woman was quite a big-sized woman and was cart into the mall earlier on with a trolley.. Ana lay her on the bed...in which she began to pant, and then die... after covering her dead body with a blanket...The old woman sit up... ( expected 1 la ) OMG! SO DAMN FUNNY! other zombie have to use hand to clear of object infront of it by sweeping it away roughly..THAT OLD WOMAN NO NEED! B'cox she's bloody big sized, she jux lumber her way thru... i was like WTF lolx! SO FUNNY lOLX ( No hard feelings to overweight pple, i m 1 2 myself ^_^ ) By then Luda, the Pregnant wife of andre, who have been earlier on been scratched by a zombie starts to mutate.. but andre can't bear to kill his wife...he ties her to the bed... and attempt to help her deliver her mutated child secretly... i was like 0_o jux kill her la...y waste ur time! THEY R DEAD! Then the trio ( Andre, his mutated wife and jux-born mutated daughter ) was discover by another woman survivor. The woman put a magnum round into Luda's head.. SPLAT! the bloody spill across the wall! The angered andre shot the woman with his handgun, and the woman who was hit, put 3 bullets into andre, of whic andre proceed to pump another 2 bullet into her.. I was like...what a waste... 2 perfectly human beings was killed....somemore so lame...argh hahax. Back to andy, the gunshop owner who was trap across the street... he ran out of food... and he wrote on the signboard stating "Hungey" to kenneth, the cop. They decided to use a dog, chip, attach him with food and make him ran across the zombie-filled street to the gunshop. Somehow the zombies are not interested in sub-human living things lolx... while letting the dog on, a zombie saw the hole and make a scamble for it... he rest follow suit... den damn jia lat... although andy manage to prevent more zombie fm entering his shop and have kill those in his shop... he was bitten...sad la.. Den a gal, Nicole, who love that dog so much, drove a truck over to the shop and attempt to save her dog...i was like 0_o come on i know is a life but...dude! thats at least a thousand zombies out there! Den andy went up to the roof and smear the whiteboard, of which is a medium for communication with the people over at the mall, with blood. This part i dun understand, is the andy trying to say, that he is aleady becoming a zombie and warn them not to save him? Or was Andy aleady zombified and trying to tell the survivors at the mall that it's after their blood?? While, up to your imagination but i think it was more of the latter. Nicole and her doggy was trapped in the shop..separated by a door between themselves and the mutated andy... The rest of the gang over the mall, lead by daring cop kennth devise a daring plan to save the duo by going thru the sewage and climbing to the surface undecected by the zombies.. Objective no.1 was to save the duo, objective 2 was to savage ammunitions and weapons. They werel discovered almost as soon as they leave the manhole, but they managed to get into the shop unharm after some firefight and near misses... kennth kill the aleady mutated andy, b4 that he say " sorry bro" quite sad man... they save the duo and went back to the mall. Before that... they entrust another fellow suvivor, i think call glen bah, "that guy is bloody scarcastic and bloody slacker, dun help in anything 1" with the key to the exit...instead of guarding it, he ran and hide... so bloody ham ji! betray frenx lo. Then immediately escape fm the mall in their DIY amoured trucks. Even use propane gas tanks to clear the way.. even got ripple effect by the zombies..lol when they fell down... Along the way.. 1 of the 2 trucks flip over.. and 1 of the male survivor accidentally saw off another female survivor entire arm! and suay suay the chainsaw drop ontop of him when the truck flip! Jia lat ar.. den got another 3 survivors on the flip-over truck but the KNN humji glen run away agian instead of saving them, MUAHAHAHA he was killed by a zombie ambushing him lOlx GREAT! Run and run... they reach a marina, and attempt to get away by boat to another place. The boat ironically was own by glen, well at least he have done something gd... They drove all the way to the pier, and starts to get the boat started, in the meantime, C.J, the guai lan security guard gallantly fend off the zombies hordes who were running to them like marathorn champions... He try to escape thru the front door of the truck, but it was jammed shut... waves and waves of zombie flood into the truck via the backdoor...jia lat...out of desperation, he ignite a propane gas tank in the truck.. The boat was started and they was ready to leave when michael, 1 of the main actors in the show, say to leave without him, and shown them a bitemark on his arm... (he was bitten earlier on) He say he wanna watch the sunrise and call them to leave him there.. he took out a gun and end his life.. WeeP~
SURPRISINGLY THE SHOW ENDS HERE, AND CREDIT ROLL OUT!! I was abt to say wat the f...ing hell is this ! when they started to show their journey across the sea to a nearby island ( Sad la, some pple aleady leave liao, they have no chance lol ) when they were nearing the island...a small wooden boat float pass, they board it open a cooler box with a zombie head inside, snaring it's teeth..hahax.. BANG! nth left liao lol.. and they were approaching the island, they ran out of fuel and float to the pier.. so lucky huh u might say... they board the island, den chip the dog went darking and running off... Suddenly, hordes and hordes of zombie appear!!! they shoot and shoot but to no avail... all died.... LOL...... so lame man... But it was a gd show nevertheless!
PRO : -Terrific make-up and CGI effects...
-Gd amount of gore and blood
-Funny element in a horror enviroment
CON : -No head, No tail, Never state how the infection start..and is the infection controlled??
-The gore came out too fast, the plot was nt developed yet and aleady got so much action liao Lolx
-The part when Luda was mutating and gave birth to the mutated baby was so damn gross out...no wonder we r facing declining birth rate...
Nevertheless, a great show never to be miss!
P.S : It seems that american like to start with the word F... with every sentences lOlx.. Btw, this is the longest blog entry i have ever make, and i guess it will be the longest for a long long time.....perhaps until Resident Evil 2 or Harry potter came out? LOLX
