finally able to exercise my body, so long nvr play bball alreadi. all of a sudden, todae darren tan and kenneth lin come and play bball at my house, onli becuz they couldnt find any other bball court near amk. haha, i played with them of course, i feel so loseristic there, they so zai, i so reckless and stoopid in my movements. haiz, wad to do? not out-door and sporty at all.

still had fun lah, but broke my finger. ;_; my right pinkie, so pain. it's all swollen and i cant even bend it. i think the bone cracked or sumthing. but play bball surely get alot of this kinda wound, so, heck lah.

even though i didnt play well, i got the exercise i need. muz keep fit and healthy!

my overall is 60.75%, maths is 42% and science is 52%
Criteria to get into Double Science...

Maths: 55% (nope, long way)

die lah. my overall so good also no use, maths and science sux big time. muz buck up, but too lazy. not motivated at all.

Hmm, today saw the Linkin Park's "Numb" MTV, quite nice. LP rocks big time.

Last two days, i started my journey on composing a full band piece. I still havent got a name for it, but its currently 4 mins long now. I've got its intro + first 2 movements done.

Intro:
Features only the String Bass, Tuba and Euphonium, with a Euphonium Solo. Speed: 80/c

Mvt. 1 (Flying Ship):
Features the melody on clarinets, alto sax and tenor sax, the rest, playing the accompaniment. Then later, the flutes and the bassoon comes in for the counter melody and melody. Even more later on, there's the brasses (trpt, trmb, euphonium) play the melody, while the woodwind melody plays the melody. The flute comes in with many trills and triplets here and there. Speed: 120/c

Mvt. 2 (Scenery of the Sea):
Features string bass and tuba support, with clarinet+flutes entry. Followed by flute and oboe solo. Speed: 80/c

Features oboe solo, of a familiar tune of an oboe solo for those who watched "Robbie and the Book of Tales""

Followed by teachers day celebration. quite fun ah, the performances were great. some were beyond fantastic, some weren't suppose to even be put there, just too lame.
but still was quite fun lah, better than normal school day.

My total average for all subject is 60.75%... hmmm, not bad, considering tt i was slacking all the while.

They've spiced up my sch life and never fail to teach me everything, thnk u all of u. especially mr. yip, whus made my CCA in pri sch (IT club), so fun and enjoyable. appreciate it all!

my exclassmates invited me to go together, in the end, all they did was play soccer. sianz. i dislike soccer. ugh.

= tokyo philharmonic orchestra 27th Aug =
This orchestra is definitely the best i tell u. greaT tone, great dynamics, great articulation, highly anticipated mindset and deep precision, no band/orchestra can beat that i tell u.
They were an indeed very inspiring orchestra and i got to see the great rare and almost can't bee seen anywhere Contrabassoon and Tuba Mute! Yes, a giant humongus tuba mute! wah lau, its damn big lor!
On top of that, there was this harp, two sets of timpani, and there was even a damn nice double bass solo!
It was damn cool sia, his tone was so perfect, yet his notes are damn high lor. never seen anything better for dbass.

Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra is indeed one of the best ever.

yesterday was POP and sec 4s are officially sent off... good bye, hope you'll visit us as often as possible! We'll not let u all down!
Now tt sec 4s are gone, our remaining batch will have to work really hard, we must get a gold or top 5 in SYF 2005!!!

Play snaredrum in pop abit screw up, but not obvious, so we dunt care.
We played 4 pieces for sec 4s...
1) A song for friends (me in double bass section here)
2) English Folk Song Suite (me in percussion here)
3) Yorkshire Ballad (me in double bass again)
4) Friends of Mine (and now in percussion)

yeah, running here and there, from one corner of the band to another due to the section changes from string bass to percussion. but was damn fun!
wad's weird, is tt I only worse socks for my footwear, no shoes thruout the whole POP. i lent my shoes to a sec 1, haha, i'm so kind.

i didnt realli buy any gifts... i'm so sorrie sec 4s... cuz i no time and money too ah... sorry.

our gig supposed to start at 6pm, but it seems tt POP ended at 6.05pm!!! we thought we were late, until i called Paul, and he said it was postponed to 8pm due to the rain... phew. lucky siaz. thank god for tt.
we reached there in time and performed.

it didnt turn out veri good. it seems tt we were lacking of time (thus, only performed 4 songs, outta 6) and also, the bassist, najib, and two singers, paul + shane, had something wrong with them. they werent moving around like a real rock band at all! only me and the drummer, cristian moved. weird..... we didnt attract much audience as well, since we didnt realli talk to them.

lesson learnt. every performance muz act enthu, and engage audience participation.

but still quite fun lah. hahax.

todae is a damn boring day lorz. all i did was to wait, eat, slack, chat. and then tuition. luckily after tuition got bball, but not enuff. still, its good enuff lah... sundays........ brrrrrrrrrrr.............

freak lah, i'm getting abit sick of playing the double bass. now my senior say must play at least 2 dbass pieces for the upcoming POP (passing-out-parade) concert for sec4s... haiz. lucky got 2 more pieces in percussion.

i playing the snare for POP march past... so tiring. cant even move elbow area when playing loud lor. but its gd stamina training, so, its worth. muz be hardcore!
