Summer Card Camp Week 1
Hi there! Hope you are doing well.
I finally had a little time to play for Summer Card Camp Week 1. Here are the cards I made based on Jennifer McGuire’s card from class. Lots of fun with Hero Arts stamps and Ranger Distress Inks.
Stamps: Hero Arts (CL383, CG170, S5316); Inks: Ranger (Broken China, Tumbled Glass, Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, Dusty Concord); Tsukineko (Versa mark); Papers: Canson (Watercolor); Hero Arts (Eggshell Notecard), Papertrey Ink (White Notecard); Other: Ranger (Perfect Pearls Mist); American Crafts (White Embossing Powder)

5 & Dime Cards
Hope you are having a great weekend! I’m leaving soon to teach a card class at my church!
Here are some cards I made recently with the October afternoon 5 & Dime collection. The top one is my favorite.

Belated Father’s Day Post
Hope you are having a good week. Here is the card I sent to my Dad for Father’s Day.
I don’t know who made the bear stamp. I couldn’t read the name on the wood block. I colored the image with Copic markers. The graph background is by Hero Arts. On the inside is the bear’s hat (someone forgot to take a picture, though).

Watercolor Canvas
Hello. How are you?
Here is my entry for the first round of the current Hero Arts Challenge.
First I white embossed the Classic Bloom stamp six times. Then I water-colored the flowers with Distress Inks and Perfect Pearls Mist. Finally I cut them out and adhered them to the canvas (8” x 10”) with Glossy Accents.
I haven’t been blogging lately. Did you even notice I was gone?
I have been really busy at work and at home. We saw Glee (live), we had our heating and air conditioning replaced (expensive!), a plumber was here to fix the guest room shower (the same day Stephen’s parent’s arrived from North Carolina for a visit!) and more.
I’ve taken at least eight (!) classes in the last month or so, seven of them featuring Hero Arts stamps:
- Two card classes with the talented Shari Carroll in Dyer, Indiana.
- Four classes with the dynamic duo of Jennifer McGuire and Shari Carroll in Dayton, Ohio.
- One Archiver’s class, Bold Backgrounds.
- One painting class, Poppies.
Hope I haven’t shared too much. I usually don’t have this much to say! I will post more pictures soon.
