Life with three girls and one boy can get pretty crazy. But we wouldn't have it any other way!!

Bucks
These pics of 2 bucks were taken at my parent's house with Jason's trailcam. Everyone was so excited when they saw these. Jason and Seth have tried to hunt for them. But, we fear that they may have moved on. Pretty amazing deer!! (Sorry that the pics are any bigger. I got them off one of Jason's websites that he posts pics on.)
Jason's Doe
At this point, this is the only deer that Jason shot this year. He is out hunting with his flintlock this morning. We are hoping he gets one more. Jason and I butchered this one and put meat in our freezer. Yay! I know, I have gone 'redneck'! Yikes!! :)
Christmas 2009
As you can see, Heidi didn't care for Santa very much. Even though it was just my dad. He dresses up every year for the kids. We had to tell the older 2 that it was Pap dressed up so that they didn't spoil it for Savannah and Heidi.
The kids had a great Christmas. We had to get Lydia her own CD player because Jason and I got tired of listening to her Taylor Swift CD over and over. Now she can listen as much as she wants to. Princess and babydoll stuff for the little girls. And Bakugan, Transformer, and a soldier nutcracker for Marshall. Yea, it was a great Christmas. Mom and dad and the boys came over to our house for dinner. Then, later, grandma, pap, Dan and Pauline and their family came over for desserts. Great food and great family moments.

New playlist
I have made a new Christmas playlist of songs for you to enjoy while viewing my blog. The first song has become one of my favorites. It is Faith Hill's "A Baby Changes Everything". If you have a moment, listen to it. I think you will enjoy it too.

Family Pic...Nov. 2009
Sorry if this pic is a little blurry. It is actually a picture of a picture. We had our family pic taken for the first time (professionally) since Marshall was 2. Pathetic, right? Anyway, we went to Portrait Innovations. (They are kind of like the Picture People.) The experience was a nightmare!! We got there right at our appt. time. We ended up waiting for close to 40 minutes. Heidi was a grump and just wasn't very cooperative with the girl who was taking our pic. She wanted to run and play. The girl took over 120 different shots with different poses. It was a long night. But, in the end, we got a very nice picture. You can't tell, but my right arm is clamped around Heidi's waist like a vice!! And my left hand is holding down her dress because it kept coming up and you could see her diaper through her tights. The other 3 kids did great!! It will be a few years before we take another professional pic. But, we are happy with how this one turned out. :)
Army Man
Here are some pics of Kyle all dressed up in his dress uniform. These were taken when he first got back and we thought that he would be leaving to go to S. Korea. It turns out that he is going to be able to stay in the States and his family will be able to go with him. Hopefully. He is doing really well and loves it. We are so proud of him!!
Princesses
These two little girls absolutely love to dress up as princesses. Everyday!! Savannah has a movie called "Bella Dancerella" that she dances too. And, of course, we have to have the wand and dresses to go with it. It is cute to watch them get into it.
Marshall's First Lost Tooth
Marshall lost his first tooth a few weeks ago. The new one was growing in behind it and we decided it was time for that tooth to come out! He was so excited. When he went to bed, I had him put his tooth in a plastic ziploc bag and put it on his dresser because he sleeps on the top bunk of a bunk bed. Well, he did what I asked and I forgot to exchange the tooth for money!! Oops!! He was devastated the next morning. I felt horrible!! So, I found some money for him (we never have cash lying around) and went in his room while he was downstairs and placed the money on his desk and covered it with a few papers. I also wrote a note to him from the 'tooth fairy' that said that since this was his first tooth to lose, he could keep it. I had him come upstairs and said that he must have accidentally covered it up while frantically looking for it. He was so excited!! Crisis solved!! Whew!! He has since lost another one. He is starting to look like a jack-o-lantern!
Yummy Cookies
We made and delivered Halloween cookies this year. The kids had a great time decorating, and eating, them.
Halloween 2009
We weren't sure if we were going to be able to take the kids trick or treating this year because it was raining. And raining hard. But, we decided to be die hard trick or treaters. And, fortunately, the weather cleared off and it was a really enjoyable night. The kids got a TON of candy!! Unfortunately, most of it ended up in the garbage because it was too much of a temptation for them (okay, and me) to snack on all day. Oh well.....
Enjoying the Leaves
Savannah and Heidi really enjoyed playing in the leaves. They were finding ladybugs that were hiding in them.

Die Hard Hunter???
So, when Jason woke up this morning (we are at his parent's house), he was greeted by pouring down RAIN!! He decided it wasn't a good morning to hunt. I am thinking that he isn't quite the die hard hunter that he used to be. :)
These are pics I stole off of Keri's blog (sorry Keri!) from when my brother, Zach, and his family visited a few weeks ago. We had so much fun getting to know Saylor. The last time we saw her she was only about 6 weeks old. She is so dang cute!! We just love her! I hope they can come back again soon! Miss you guys!!!
New Pic of Me
I decided to take a new pic of myself for my Facebook profile. I think it turned out pretty good. :)
Bad Girl, Heidi!!
I keep a large box of Gain powder laundry detergent in the cupboard that is under our microwave. Heidi just discovered that it is there. I was upstairs cleaning the bedrooms and when I came down, I could smell laundry soap! She was standing in it rubbing her feet around. I grabbed the camera and asked her what she did and this is the look she gave me! There was enough soap for 2 loads on the floor. She held her baby out and said "Bad baby. Bad baby." And started spanking her baby! We don't spank Heidi. At least, not very often. :)
But, she knows what it means. I had to vacuum up the powder and now everytime we vacuum, it smells really good!! Goofy girl!!

Doin' The Watermelon Crawl
We grew watermelons in our garden this year. We asked the kids to work together in order to get this watermelon to the house. The got creative and decided to lift it into their little shopping cart. It was a very heavy watermelon. It was a very sweet and very juicy watermelon!!
