hospitals, sick and a lovely read.

i been missing again. from the virtual world. sort of. been going to places. being sick. bestfriend was in the hospital for almost a week. visited her twice. met up with denise. dinner was 3 scoops of ice cream. next day, i fell sick. soccer with the boys and brother. carrom with uncle and the boys. liverpool vs newcastle and man utd vs bolton (grrr..) with them too.

fell sick. okay, boring. move on.

had research methods tutorial last evening. dom wasnt there; OT. great bunch of friends though :) our group won abt 4 packets of M&Ms. haha. since i was sick, i passed them to Es.

appt at mountA this morning. i hate hospitals. but sometimes, we don't have a choice.

caught "the game plan" with vaalu. nice movie. nice company.

currently reading "marshmallows for breakfast" by dorothy koomson.

have yet to complete the book but since chapter1, i realised its sucha good read. i dont even know why i have a sudden realisation about it, but i am a picky reader. but well, ms dorothy is a good writer and she has gotten me hooked on so much that i been reading the book even though i have an eye infection, haha. i can't wait to get her other books; "my best friend's girl" and "the cupid effect" :)

was at shalu's place for dinner last sunday. such fun. not to mention i'm in love with her big comfy couch :) shalu if i'm gonna crash at your place, i'll just sleep on the couch okay? big enuf for gaya and me. haha..
had a nice chat with shalu's mum :) the man utd supporting aunt! whee hoo..

i feel contented, being with the two of them. feels like i don't need anything else.
with friends who are like family, what else do you need? :)

gaya threw a cushion at shalu and me. revenge is sweet :) looks like i'm abusing her. haha..

I LOVE HER COUCH! okay i love her too. she's pretty nice. haha =) veryyyyy nice in fact.

festival of colours-overload!

deepavali's over.. not exactly though, since we're having parties in the weekend. its been insane! the guests, the food and the noise. but it's been hell of a fun :)

thanks to fid, terry, jill and minyi for being the first guests and extra thanks to fid n terry for helping dad to carry the food to the house :)

shortly joined by uz and miao. seemed like a mini class gathering.

AND we were joined by criz, carolyn, mad and leen :) such fun.. i miss criz! :p

the secondary sch gang came by too.. shan, cynthia, mabel, yk, his girlfriend and jc. and not forgetting our famous indian-timing-follower; premmlatha :) lunch at 4pm!

=) past week had been tons of fun. making cookies in chithi's house. forced mum to join us too.
everyone of us were involved, even the bestu friendu, and of course uncle who made us "banana bhajji" which wasnt ... erm .. very nice. haha..

the best friend and i lengthened our theme song and came up with a dumb handshake. haha.. which i actually recorded in my hp. its too lame to be posted. haha.. oh wells..

today is 4th Nov.. oh ya, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DASS !!! :))
khorkiee terry jill and i attended vanisha's 21st party at changi beach club. met razinah, bazilah and daphne there. real nice seeing them and of course our star of the day; vanisha dass, dazzling in a beautiful red dress. haha..

had prayers over at my place earlier this evening. the usual deepavali prayer for the parted. wondering if dad will make a trip to mount vernon crematorium. might join him..

okays.. i'm very much looking to deepavali for 2 things importantly; 1. hopefully i get to go to kavitha's place in the night. 2. the entire SPP's coming over! Ohmygod - waves to huishan!
