Sometimes ego gets in the way

Have you ever wanted to apologise and set things straight with someone but you don't wanna give up on your pride or your ego was too big and it got in the way?

Ego sometimes get the better of you. Pride.. whatever you wanna call it.

Okay this is so random. But on another note,
i just read Ranjan's blog. About how he misses stuff and all.
Made me rmbr some stuff. Same here. I miss alot of things in da past.
But remembering them sometimes hurt. Even then, its just nice to let it glide through your memory, doesnt it?

Nah, i dun wanna dwell too much into it.

Anyways, blast from the past. A friend called me up after more than a year.
But things just seem different. I couldnt be myself while talkin to him.
Its like getting to know someone all over again.
Although he sounds da same and even talks the same shit again,
it was kinda awkward. Maybe cause my mum was right there?

Made me kinda regret a little on why i even bothered to contact him.
But whats done is done.
We'll see how it goes.

Time definitely changes things. Maybe not all though ....

And Ranjan. ya, lunch/dinner at our 'fav' place one day.
Haha.. be careful, you got a stalker. Haha..

And in that short while, i found out that Henry renewed his contract with Arsenal,
Morientes left to Valencia. And i forgot what else.

Of course, Pires left Arsenal. A pity. He left to Villarreal.
Shalu! Ljungberg is Swedish! Haha.. Not Norweigian!
Solskjaer is from Norway!

Anyway, i guess i can't catch the world cup this year.
SIGH.

What can i call this?

i have totally given up writting. My diary sits there on my desk, untouched.
I gotta dust it later i guess. Always wanted to pen down something in it,
but it never happened. Excuses excuses.. what else? Ha.

Anyway, been feeling high-low for the past few days.
I guess thats due to thinking too much about stuff.
See thats where too much Unnecessary thinking leads you to.
And you can top it up with headache.

See, i been thinking, we all make promises day in and out.
But sometimes none get kept.
Like we say "we'll keep in touch. We'll always be friends. I'm just a call away."
Aye, doesnt happen easily. Of course its a 2 way thing, yeap.

So i been missing a friend of mine.
He was a great friend. As a friend, i had no complaints about him.
He was a good companion, always making me laugh, telling me lame jokes,
being irritating, refusing to hang up the phone after our conversations,
coming over to my place to play computer games, (i won him in FIFA!)
and just being someone i could really talk to anytime, anywhere.

Anyway, after we graduated, we spoke lesser over the phone,
we saw each other lesser.
And gradually we lost contact.
I feel i lost a good friend.
I dun even have his home/handphone number
and his address. Cause he moved somewhere else.

He might not have been a good person
but to me, he was a great friend.
And i miss that friend.

Friendships shdnt get affected just cause your good friend doesnt like another friend of yours.
I know i was never ever asked to choose between friends, for that, i'm glad.
I really have wonderful people around me, but of course the absence of even one of them, affects me alot.

Gayathri missed me so much that she called me out.
So i met her after catching a movie & dinner with Aunty Ron, Kumutha aunt, Koms & Kavi.
Oh ya Shalu was there too. As usual, dying to take pics after pics with me. I wonder why!
You can see all those lunatic poses above. Now that Gaya has a damn good cam phone,
this is what Shalu is gonna be busy with. Tsk tsk.
And Ranjan, i dunno if the other 2 missed you (i guess not!) but at least i did okay! Haha! :)

wednesday was mabel's bday. geksan, huishan and i got a gift for her and met for lunch.
lunch was a waste. i mean, i wasted my food cause the portions are never ending. tsk tsk.
but we had fun. and we bought a mini cake for mabel and got the waitress to bring it out.
haha.. i'm glad mabel had fun. wasnt that our intention?!

its contenting to know that i still have fun when i'm with them.
and other things beside fun and laughter. good.

its been a while since i spoke to Gaya.
sure feels weird.
ranjan called. sorry lah, i had to go off alr.

Why is it that everytime i wanna write something but after i log in, i have no words to write?

The kitten came to pray

went to temple today.. with my parents..

cldnt really chat with God with all those noise around.
well, its been damn long since i went temple.
but i have forgotten how to pray.
or rather, to connect with God.
i just stood there, thinkin "so how're you God?"
it was just a conversation.

anyway, the most interesting thing in the temple was a little kitten!
and an adorable one that is!
it entered the temple and was walking ard. haha..
