Turkey Time

We had a fun time at the Tremonton Turkey Trot a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving.  The weather was fabulous, and Aunt Sarah came up to run with us girls and Spencer.  AND, we had huge payoff, as we brought home SO MANY prizes!!!! For placing in our age groups, we got 2 bottles of sparkling cider (Mom & Lucy), a turkey!!! (Anne), and pie coupon (Emily).!!! We were thrilled!!

 

Poor Jane started having bouts of asthma before and after Thanksgiving.  She had a trip to Instacare, and lots of breathing treatments/steroid medicine as we worked to keep her out of the hospital like Anne had been.

Up to Idaho for fabulous Thanksgiving time with cousins!, Black Friday shopping for the girls, and a nice visit with Grandma Stewart :). Maddie brought roommate Emma to join us for the weekend, and I got to meet Maddie's Joan when I took them home, as well as enjoy an hour w/ Carrie & Madsen's who were in town for a minute :).

Showtime: Brent art, Anne recital, Emily play

Brent has been so creative from little ages--even winning the Reflections contest in 1st grade w/ his snail.  This was artwork he'd collect on a bulletin board in his bedroom until we moved:

Anne's Christmas recital; She was the winner of the Bow Exercises Challenge, doing 1000 bow exercises first! She loves AnnJeanette!

Without even auditioning, Emily and her friend Raigan got fun parts of Flotsam & Jetsam in the school's Little Mermaid play.  They had a great group of friends working on the production, and we loved watching it (w/ their cool LED lights!)

We finally got around to updating our wall of photos, and took advantage of the gorgeous fall backdrops we're surrounded with to get headshots of everyone (Maddie had already gotten her Sr portraits done).  It took two rounds to find Jane w/o squints and Brent available, and Anne was a little cunning with her between-tantrum smiles, but we did have fun :).
