Happy Holiday Alien

Todays doodle so far - bit rushed as I need to prepare the flat for pre-christmas visitors. This kind of reminds me of the good Dr.Zoidberg. I'll have to finish this off some other time. Merry Jebus-day to all you humans out there.

No real thought behind this - but another concept for a possible enemy. Probably should work more on some variants. I guess this can be today's doodle!

Snowy Sunday

Snow has covered the streets - so I've been sitting in my longhi doodling all day. I found a pad (gift from a friend) of tibetan hand made paper - makes a nice texture! Going out to see Avatar today - hope it's as good as everyone is making it out to be.

Sargent reference

I thought I would do a quick reference sketch this morning - which ended up taking longer than expected. Should really do this more. Doesn't really look like the ref too much, but a good learning experience none the less.

I'm thinking of trying to 3D this guy - started as a doodle this afternoon - Elderly robots are a bit of an odd concept, but oh well... I'll finish this off tomorrow with some other ideas.

Messy update!

It's been far too long to think of any legitimate excuse for not updating... other than I am a right lazy so-and-so.

I've just started working on a few things and thought I'd share the whole messy process. Nothing groundbreaking - just a few goblins and robots. Standard fare! Start easy - work towards harder stuff.

Anyway - there we go! Now I'll try to neaten these guys up a bit...
