The "Poo-Poo" card!
So becoming a mother of two I can confidently say has been amazing. I can't say it has been super easy or perfect for that matter but I have truly enjoyed it. Delia has done pretty good, has some jealousy issues but that is totally understandable. But lately she has been pushing my buttons by pulling the "Poo-Poo card."
The poo poo card as I am so lovingly calling it is this: I go to do something and she totally comes up and says ""Mama I have to go poo poo." Which is fine, except I think she holds it until these times and then uses it to get my attention. Here is a few examples just from today.
1. I work out during Donovan's morning nap. That way in the afternoon, I can get stuff done while they are both napping. So I put him to sleep. Get her out some playdough, stickers, scissors, or colors to play with and start my workout on the wii. About two minutes in "the poo poo card" So I stop and take her.
2. We are all playing in the living room. Donovan needs a diaper change so I tell her I am going to change his diaper and will be right back. Two Seconds after I lay him down and get the dirty diaper off. "the poo poo card".
3. Lunch is always fun. Today she just played and hardly ate, but amazingly pulled the poo poo card twice. Once while we were all sitting at the table and I was feeding Donovan his Squash. Second after I fed him I sat down to eat my lunch and she did it again.
I have tried taking her to the bathroom before any of these times because it just seems like a game to her. But even if she goes to the bathroom before. She always has to go again. She will sit on the potty and I swear she can make herself poop even if it is just one little pebble. I am scared to call her bluff because 1.I don't want to clean it up. 2.She goes when she says she has too. She has been potty trained since she was 19 months old so this is nothing new to her. We are working on her going by herself but she hasn't quite gotten the wiping process down.
I know that some day I will look back at this and laugh. But right now it just drives me crazy. I feel like no matter how much planning/organzing I do the "Poo Poo card" always gets played. :)
Have a blessed weekend!!!!

New Years Goals and Meal Planning!!!
So 2011 is here. It is that time again to make resolutions or as I like to call them goals. So lets start out with a little update. I have quit my job. I am now a full time stay at home mom. So it is now time for me to get organized and hopefully have a little more energy to devote to my family. So here are my goals for the year.
1. Get organized. i.e. meal plan, activities for kids, ect.....
2. Read my Bible more!! I have really been a slacker at my bible studying.
3. Work out three times a week. The baby weight is gone but my body is not back so my goal is to tone and shape my body.
4. Run a 1/2 marathon by the end of the year. This is a big one for me. I don't know where I will find the time for this but I would really like to do it.
5. Be the best mother and wife I can be, because they deserve it.
So to get started here is my meal plan for the next two weeks. I have alot of crockpot recipes in here so I am hoping that will help with time. Note: By no means am I a fancy cook.
