I have nothing new to post... or atleast haven't taken the time to do it. Not sure what I've been doing either! My house is still messy, my kids still need a bath, I haven't wrapped one present (atleast the shopping's done), I have no clue what to do next! Obviously it's not making a wonderful post. So here's to a great weekend--Kevin actually has Mond, Tues, & Wed. off from work.. that has NEVER happened! I'm so excited...

Happy Birthday RAEGAN!!!

November 20th..today my baby is ONE..(sniff)

My original due date was Dec. 5th (i think) and after Brendon was born (8lb 6oz), then Kiersten was about 4 days early (induced/then emergency c-sect.) she was (8lb 3oz).. so THIS time around i knew i didn't want to go late because i was confident on the size of this next child. AND, since i had already had a c-sect., i knew i could just have another one... but at the same time didn't want to go through that again. Since i had my same DR. for all 3, he knew i gained a lot of weight, could get high blood pressure, and they weren't small babies. i begged for him to do it as early as they could, and he said the earliest they could schedule a c-sect. (non-emergency)was 10-14 days. every appointment i just pushed to get it done. i ended up 14 days early with a scheduled c-sect.
Raegan Kera was 21-1/2 inches & 9 lbs. 2oz.
YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW THANKFUL I WAS THAT I PUSHED FOR THAT C-SECTION!

We only have VIDEO of her eating the cake(actually gagging), and opening presents! sorry...

Okay, well since Raegan's birthday (one day ago) Kiersten's obsessed with her new birthday toy. As soon as we opened it she wanted on it. We keep telling her that it's for babies, or she's too big, but it doesn't seem to be working. So then we told her that she only have it if she's sleeping... that didn't last too long. Now it's--- Raegan's not playing with it.. MY TURN! So she was on it today, and I just happen to see her sneaking a snack. She's decided to not only have fun with her sisters new toy, but also make it very useful! (hence the pretzel holder)

1. I'm the baby of the family.. by a long shot! The next closest sibling is 12 yrs. older than me. And--I do mean baby literally... and I'm sure Kevin would agree.
2. As of this year... I'm a huge pumpkin-carving-fan! I've always done it, and even last year I put a little more effort into it. But, I'm almost obsessed this year..(I'll post pics) and I must say I'm pretty darn good.
3. I LOVE MY BED! Tired or not, daytime/nighttime-- every time I go on my bed.. I just sigh, and say how much I love it, & I really don't want to get off!! I even tell it to Kevin often..."ahhh, I love this bed"-and he just laughs.
4. [this is getting hard] I actually like the smell of coffee & cigarette smoke.. Smokes--to a certain extent..Maybe the brand or concentration of the smell.. not sure, but I do like it most of the time.. (i know... weird)
5. Kitchen gadgets are the best! I don't always cook, & I don't own really that many things, but I love chopping food (with good knives) big pots, pans, spatulas... the kitchen aisles are the best in walmart. I could stand there all day!
6. I hate the GHETTO that I live in. People just driving by freaks me out. I almost always wonder.{esp. if they look "odd"} if I'm gonna get shot! HAHA! Sounds funny but most of the time I'm uncomfortable!
7. And last but not least... let's see if this is a good one....hmmm I'm in love with my hair! I'm always playing with it or combing threw it, or smelling it (yikes). A friend of Kevins once asked me if I wanted to be alone with my hair. I always tell Kevin, my hair is soo soft. I take good care of it, and much pride & joy. But don't get me wrong, I have gone days without washing it, and wearing ponytails... but I often look in the mirror and play with my hair [esp. if I've taken the time to wash & style it].

Ummm... WHAT?

Tonight Brendon is practicing his spelling words (we're going over the words) and I ask what word goes w/ the definition *being calm while waiting for something* and all this week he's given me the same answer--PATIENT. Which is technically right, but for homework it's PATIENCE. So I tell him, yeah but it's patience. Then I'm saying things like I'm being patient, or I have patience. Trying to make a point that they're used differently.. yadda yadda.
Then he says ---yeah, a patient is at the dr's office. yes, you're right. then he says yeah, those words are homonyms!! I'm all what? He says, they're homonyms. And so I ask him what the crap is a homonym???? And he gave a pretty close definition of what it was, that they sound the same & are spelled different or something. He was pretty close, and knew what it meant. So I asked him--where the crap did you learn the word homonym??? And my freakin' kid looked at me & did a finger pointing/twirl thing and said, SCHOOL.... DUHH!!!!

Kids are GREAT!

Yes, this is a picture of a shirtless Vin Diesel...(yummm) but I have a reason for posting it. Not sure if anyone has seen the movie The Pacifier, with him in it. Well, my kids have seen it a few hundred times, anyways, at the beginning of the movie (when he becomes the babysitter) one of the girls *Lu Lu* asks him why he has boobs?? and he says in his--not ammused--gruffy voice-- THEY'RE NOT BOOBS!! So later in the movie, he doesn't know that Lu Lu has "brownies" over for their troop meeting, and he comes downstairs w/ only his towel around his waist. Well, you then hear all the little girls giggle, and Lu Lu says, TOLD YOU HE HAD BOOBS!! Seriously funny. Well.. the other day Kevin had got out of the shower, and was showing me & the kids his chest flexing moves. You know, that guys do when they go up & down(again---hot!) and they thought it was cool of course. Yesterday, he got out of the shower & Kiersten came in & said Dad, wiggle your boobs!!! Yeah, I couldn't stop laughing...

I love her teeth!!!....

I just can't get over how much I love her big teeth. Every time she smiles I just laugh. I love the gap, and how noticeable her two front teeth are. My beautiful blue eyed girl....

Although I don't have an OFFICIAL name.. it came from the refrigerator. The same day I posted my washer fiasco--the fridge was acting up. It's only 3 yrs.old and it's a nice Amana one. Well, the part we took to Sears would take 7-10 days to order and I'm like.. hello?? how do I live. So the guy told us to call the repair line, and have someone look at it. Yeah, they can't come til Monday!! My point --- you ask? SEE BELOW!!






I've been living out of an ice chest since then! When we got groceries, I had to make sure I bought frozen things (we have a huge freezer), and that's really hard for us, cz of the diet thing and needing certain foods. AAHHHHH LIFE!

SIGH....

(I'll make this a short story!!) So, I'm finally in the mood to bust out w/ some cleaning--and I start some laundry, picking up stuff here, looking at the sink going"where do i start??" and a weird thing happens..no the dishes didn't clean themselves... but a little water comes up the drain. i think.. hmmm, that's weird, our things don't do that. oh well...so i proceed to do more stuff, and i walk in the laundry room & the FLOOR'S ALL WET! yep, the washer backed up. so i'm grabbing towels, yadda yadda. so all my attention is focused on this--which is where this came in to play

1st point: i think i'm done w/ THAT jar of jelly!

2nd point: have i ever mentioned how much i truly love this child?

My Kiersten Girl

Only Kiersten (my child) would do this....so the other night I was up with Raegan at like 2 in the morning. I could hear Kiersten sneezing- she did it like 4 or 5 times- and I had a feeling that she'd probably wake up after that. (If she stirs around too much during the night she comes in our room). So I head back to bed expecting her to come in. Well I think I hear something, so I look over shoulder (my room is lit by those blue night lite things) and I don't see anything. So I'm like, okay my imagination. I'm just now getting comfy, and I hear her sneeze again, but it's in my room this time. I turn over and there she is on the floor, IN FRONT OF THE NIGHT LITE. It almost freaks me out because she almost looks possessed. She's just staring at it. I whisper Kiersten.... she doesn't answer. And I'm thinking Oh My Gosh! what is wrong with her. She's just staring at the light. I whisper louder Kiersten- and this time she acknowledges me, but doesn't really do anything. I finally just start talking to her & ask her what she is doing!!! She FINALLY gets up & walks to the side of the bed and hands me her CAPRISUN & STRAW! This child of mine, at 2 in the morning, went to the kitchen & got a juice, and was using the night lite to see to put the straw in. I was so relieved to know that she wasn't hypnotized or something... she was just thirsty!

I'm totally missing in action--I KNOW. Focusing on diet & exercise right now (which is new to me.. ha) in order to loose like 60 lbs. ugh! So it's not leaving much time for computer. Just too busy making food and stuff, plus the regular house stuff, and being tired! But tonight is Def Leppard, and I hope I have enough energy to make it there! Hopefully I'll find time to post again, but I'm sure I'll still stop by yours to peek.

What's new with me!

Well--my new thing coincides with a future event plus a flashback to the past.
My countdown to Def Leppard is 14 days. I AM SO PUMPED! Mainly because I've finally "detached" my little Raegan from myself! She is 9 months old, and I never thought this day would come. I was so devastated at first, but can't believe the freedom that has already come and it's only been a week. This new freedom allows the concert (which we were already going to) without a phone call saying "she's hungry!!!" Can't wait to seriously jam--they rock in concert.
(ahh......) Back in 1999, was our "first" Leppard concert. We went with Anissa & her hubby Nate. side note--if you're not familiar w/ def leppard, the drummer only has one arm-- AND everyone there obviously knows this. We are doing some major jammin' and I can seriously see Anissa laughing hysterically! I yell--what's so funny?? and it's so funny she can't tell me! so she then tells me that Nathan just said to her--DID YOU KNOW THE DRUMMER ONLY HAS ONE ARM?????!!!! Nothing has ever been so funny to me, and poor guy will never forget that question cz we won't let him. But I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed the concert. After that we vowed we'd see them every time they came back. So far, it's true. Last year I was almost 8 mth. prego when we went, and it didn't stop me from standing on the seat(suite seats) and bangin' my head!

• Autumn Moon. the only place I will eat chinese food. i've eaten there ever since i can remember. me & my mom love to go there.

• Someburros. great mexican food, and at a pretty good price. we've actually had it like 2 or 3 times a week before--so sad.

• On the Border- also mexican. the tortilla chips that they serve w/ the salsa are freaking huge. i love chips and salsa.

• Texas Roadhouse- yuuummm! the rolls w/ the butter--meal in itself by the time you eat all of them! they have everything-steak,ribs,chicken,fish & everything rocks!

• Village Inn- (the good egg)(IHOP) or any place i can get an awsome breakfast! the best part of any breakfast is hashbrowns & OJ. if they've got it i'm sold.

by the way...we usually only have home cooking or mcdonalds. i never get to go out and eat!! sniff sniff

Rocket Dogs

Okay, Kevin HATES these shoes with a passion. And I mean HATE. He thinks they are the ugliest things ever. He's actually even hid them from me (jokingly) so I couldn't wear them. Well, my sister loves them, and my next door neighbor was jealous when I bought them. So one night, soon after I bought them-- I decided to ask Kevins family what they thought. 2 sisters-in-law both said, "ummm, I wouldn't wear them" or "browns not my color" we got a big laugh. Well, this weekend I wore them to St. Johns, and I walked past Kevin's older brother and he says"those are nice shoes" and I'm kinda excited that someone liked them. So I said - really???- and he says to me..NO! So he thinks they are ugly, and Kevin is just enjoying this. Well, we were sitting at the picnic tables, and I said to him -- I think I'll take a picture of my shoes. I think he thought I was just kidding, and I'm sure he hasn't seen this picture, but he's totally going to roll his eyes when he sees that I posted my shoes!
