Tomorrow is game #5, so I better hurry and blog about game number 4!!!
Andrew's team played Yuba City, in Yuba City, so Scott and I drove down there and watched it. It is only an hour away, not too far. Andrew is on the kick off team, so I didnt want to be late. We walked in during the National Anthem, so we were good, but I was worried we'd be late because, of course, we got stopped at all the lights and there was a lot of traffic through Live Oak.
Yuba City High had poor planning when they built their stadium, they put the home stands on the side that looks directly into the sun. The visitor side was in complete shade. It was wonderful.
Andrew's team is pretty good. They won again. Yuba City had beat PV the week before, so we thought the game was going to be really tough. It started out that way, Yuba ran the ball the whole first quarter, but didn't score. We got the ball, gave it to our best player, and scored on our first play.
Yuba had a big offensive line, and Andrew really isn't "big", he's tall, but those guys were wide. Andrew got all pushed around and beat up, but he still got a few tackles, nearly a few sacks, and Yuba never scored when he was in, so I think he's better than the other defensive tackle. But, I'm his mom, so of course I think that!
Andrew had fun. I think Scott really has fun watching, too!

Andrew is #88, in this game he was the only one with a red long sleeved under armour shirt under his uniform, so it was really easy to spot him.

| We are the "basketball moms"....but our kids are now playing football, so I guess that makes us the football moms now! These are my favorite football moms! |
 |
We brought the Gatorade....along with the other basketball moms....and they were really needed because Yuba City had no water or even hoses, nothing, on the sideline!!!
If I remember correctly, the final score was 30-6??? |
