New Grandbaby- Theo
I went to Texas and got to see my new grandson Theo Fisher Farnsworth. He was born last Wednesday. I was scheduled to go there on Friday and he was due on Sunday, but he came a little early and Melanee wont complain because her labor and delivery were so perfect. Melanee and Dax also bought a new house last Wednesday!
I arrived in Texas on Saturday after he was born and hopefully helped Melanee with the two boys, but really, she didnt need any help, she is a wonderful mom!!!
AAU Basketball
Andrew began his AAU basketball season this weekend. Junior High basketball ended a few weeks ago. This team has a few of the same players and about 4 new ones. I think they may be pretty good, but it didnt show up on the scoreboard this weekend. Maybe they are pretty bad, we will have to wait and see....but not wait long, they have another tournament next weekend, and the weekend afterwards, and just about every weekend for the next 5 weeks!
I really love their uniforms. I thought they had awesome uniforms last year (they are still the Blue Devils), but this year they are a lot more professional looking and better suited for nearly high school aged kids! Andrew really wanted to be number 2. He even got FIRST choice on what number he wanted, so getting number 2 was a "sure thing". The uniform designer/printer person even sent out a confirmation that he wanted number 2, guess what??? Andrew got his uniform on Friday night, so excited, brought it home, opened the bag, and inside....NUMBER 22!!! He was really upset. But he hasnt really mentioned it since, so I think he's just going to adjust and not care.
I missed the first two games of the tournament and my phone battery was dead, so I didnt get Scott's updates, but they lost the first one big...and the second one, they were winning at half time and only scored 2 or 3 points in the whole second half and lost that game, too.
Andrew totally fouled the guy on this play, jumping and swatting at him....jesse, number 11, got the foul, haha.....bad refs-
Andrew is now 6 foot 1. He's the tallest kid in the entire junior high school. (there are some high school kids on the team, so I dont think he's the tallest kid on the team). But, look at him in this photo standing over the kid in black-
