Slow Day

We spent a big portion of the day swimming.
 I also did some errands.
The missionaries came over for dinner.
We watched a slew of Disney Channel shows.
Not much really happened today and now it's over.
Wow, summer is going by F A S T.
I thought I better blog about SOMETHING, so here's a picture of Bradley along with one of our favorite missionaries.
Tomorrow is Friday....where did the week go???  William worked every day this week.  The past two days he has made $15 and hour and almost every day he gets a tip of about $5 or $10.  Today he moved a family into their new home in Paradise, they moved here from Roanoke, VIRGINIA...they thought they may have heard of Teena Cook...haha...but they told William that they were members of the church (which he had already figured after he had moved their Christ, temple, Sacred Grove pictures and a box of Church History video tapes, haha.  It's kind of a small world, huh?

Guess What Happens Today?

I got a text at 5 o'clock in the morning from Melanee saying, "Guesswhat happens today?"  I didn't need to guess, cuz I already know....Cameron comes home. He returns from his 2 year long mission to Barcelona Spain.  I haven't received a letter from him in a long time, but I think he had a great mission.  Melanee wont be able to see  him until Saturday, though, because she is working and her job as an EFY counselor keeps her busy from 7 in the morning until lights out, and after lights our she needs to be there in case she is needed.  I KNOW she is looking forward to Saturday, though.  I love this picture from before Cameron left.  Wonder how much they have changed in two years....TWO YEARS!!!!

Reception Pictures

I'm adding these to show Krisha....we were talking about this last night, can you tell my cousin's dress is totally different...and we have WAY too many people in our line!  haha!!!  Those table decorations are peach colored ceramic ducks with wreaths around their necks sitting on glass circles, lol.  Somewhere else we also had geese dressed in a tux and wedding dress.  I didn't really care about flowers, but my "wedding planner" decided we NEEDED them, so she went and bought me a bouquet and everyone (boys and girls) pin on flowers.
And I wanted to also show Krisha this one because, like your brothers, ours didn't like the line much either, at some point they went and got chairs to sit in---

Wedding Photo #1

Wedding Photo #2

Wedding Photo #3

I have all my wedding snap shots in one of those albums they tell you NOT to put them in....and I have tried to remove them, but the taking to plastic off also rips the photos in half, so I'm leaving them in there.  Also, we didn't hire a "wedding photographer" so these are some pictures from random family members/friends cameras.  (Look at the date, I wonder if the camera's date is WRONG, or if we think of our anniversary on the WRONG day???)

6/28/11

at the dentist

It's cool to have a camera in a phone, cuz I can take pictures like this-
without even having to remember to bring my camera.

Andrew and Bradley both had dentist appointments today.  (Bradley is that head in the chair in the background).  We have dental insurance (for the VERY first time), but it only covers ONE dentist in town, so we went there, but we really LOVE our real dentist.

Happy Anniversary

Today was Scott and my wedding anniversary.  We've been married since 1989.  Scott says that's 21 years, I think it's 22 years, Richard says it's 23.  However long it has been, Scott says, "It's been an ETERNITY".  haha.
We went "out" to dinner tonight.  We went over to Richard and Krisha's house with our kids and had pizza.  It was like going out, really, because doesn't food taste SO MUCH better when prepared by someone else?  YES!
They even made a special cake and added a special candle for us!  Thanks Richard and Krisha!  Thanks Scott for this eternity.  I love you!
(Hey, we have a scanner, should I try to add a picture of us from 22 years ago?)

Mike Magee

This is for Jessica!  Jessica, THANKS for asking.  haha.

I was watching the Galaxy vs. the Earthquakes game on Saturday, just chillin, waiting for the USMNT game to start.  Two years ago I was a Galaxy fan, last year I was an Earthquakes fan.  And, I just like to watch soccer....so, the game goes on and the Galaxy goalie Donovan Ricketts BROKE HIS ARM (actually fractured it, I found out today).  So he was subbed out of the game.  The back up goalie came in and after a few minutes of play ELBOWED A GUY in the FACE and earned himself a red card.  The Galaxy (and most other teams in the world) only had 2 goalies in uniform.  They had to put a field player into the goal.  Mike Magee, normally a forward, but also plays mid field when needed, VOLUNTEERED to play goalie.  It was 2 or 3 minutes before half time when he entered the game.  He put on the guy who got the red card's gloves and goalie shirt, BOTH of which were HUGE on him.  Mike Magee is about 5 foot 6 inches tall and Saunders is probably 6 foot 5.  He was TINY and looked funny (but also cute) in the gigantic shirt with another guys name and number on it.  (His shorts said 18, jersey said 12).  The announcers told us that he had NEVER played goalie in any competitions ever.  One of the commentators used to be a teammate of Magee and old us that whenever the guys were fooling around Magee would always play in goal for their made up contests and that he did have really good quick reflexes.  But you have to realize that when Saunders got the red card, the Galaxy would have to play the rest of the game down a man.....and in goal they had an inexperienced, short guy.  But guess what......the final score ended up to be 0-0....Magee got a "clean sheet".  The Earthquakes COULD NOT score on him.  He even made a save that was nominated for this week's "save of the week".  It was SO EXCITING to watch.  I was REALLY rooting for him to do well.  A few times he kicked the ball when regular goalies would have picked it up and he couldn't kick his punts or goal kicks quite as far as a real goalie, but he got the job done.  I read in an interview with him after the game that he said that he didn't know WHY he volunteered and didn't really realize that he would be there for the remainder of the game.  He's just a really good guy, a great teammate, and now a hero!

On Twittter some Mike Magee fans started a thing to kind of make fun or honor Mike Magee and here are some of their entries--

6/27/11

It is 2 days later and I am still thinking about the USMNT soccer game.  I had a thought yesterday..."am I more upset that they lost; or more upset that Jonathan Bornstein is being blamed for the loss".  I've even re watched that game, and I saw a lot the second time that I didn't see the first time....A LOT....and I hope that the experts, analysts, reporters and such watched the game more than once before pushing "send" on their computers!

And the more I think about why I felt so emotional AFTER this game was because of what I watched BEFORE the game.  And I know ESPN didn't know what would take place, so it was not meant to have any meaning for anyone, like it did for me, but the show "The Two Escobars" was very fresh on my mind all day Saturday...and even Sunday...and even today.

I know I wont be able to describe the whole program....it was 2 hours long.....but if you want find out more, you should google the story or better yet, you should watch the "30 for 30:  The Two Escobars".  Since I know Melanee does not have the time to do either, and since I didn't want to try to text here all this, I'm going to blog a summary of what happened in 1994.  There's A LOT more to the story than I am going to write here, though...A LOT.  Back in the early 90's the country of Columbia had one of the top soccer teams in the world.  The country was also in turmoil with cocaine selling, poverty, and political unrest.  Soccer was a BIG DEAL there.  The lower class looked to it as a source of pride the upper class often bet on the games....the soccer players were heros, soccer was a passion and gave the country an identity.  There was a World Cup in 1994.  Columbia was one of the favorites to win.  The 1994 World Cup took place in the USA.  Columbia lost their first game, a game they were heavy favorites to win.  The country was in shock.  Columbia had many chances, hit many crossbars, and were very unlucky.  After the game many of the players families received death threats and one of the player's brothers was even murdered.  The national team was made up from club teams, the coach and team received threats to play players who hadn't played in the first game.  It was a very scary time and not really a good frame of mind to be in before a game.  Their second game war against the USA.....it was a close game.....but again, Columbia was very unlucky and could not score.  But on one of the US's rush upfield Andres Escobar, their captain, handsome, super well liked, national hero stretched to stop the ball, but he put it into his own net.  Columbia LOST the game.  Many people lost money on bets.  The team was knocked out during the opening round and went home.....a few days later Andres Escobar was murdered.

Fast forward to Saturday.  Jonathan Bornstein, already disliked by many....plays lousy, and fortunately lives in Mexico....because I don't think he has many fans left here in the US.

But, me, and my imagination, fearing for poor Jonny!  I know, he will be fine!!!!!  No one better kill him!

Boooooooo

I have got to stop being a sports fan that’s all there is to it!!! Losing is HARD. It is NO FUN. It actually HURTS, and I’m not even on the team.

I guess I have a “Jimmer” of hope for my future hours spent watching basketball. (haha, I hate Jimmer jokes, don’t know why I just wrote that!)

The USMNT lost to Mexico today in the final of the Gold Cup. I am so bummed right now. I was hoping they would win. I love to watch soccer and if they would have won it would have meant more soccer to watch next year in another exciting tournament. Now Mexico gets to play in the Confederations Cup.

I was SO excited when the US scored first on a Michael Bradley header from a corner kick. And was even more excited that they went up 2-0 on a beautiful pass, pass, pass behind the defense play put in by Landon Donovan. But I think that the US played very disorganized all game long and never settled down and never played like a team.

All the experts and fans would probably agree that Jonathan Bornstein ruined the game for the US…..and I would NEVER say that, but I will say that he could be blamed for the first two Mexico goals, although, Lichji didn’t need to keep the ball in the middle of the goal mouth on the second one AND Tim Howard should have SMOTHERED the ball with FORCE. The next two Mexico goals can’t solely be blamed on Bornstein, however, they both originated from his side of the field, so some people may fault him for both of those, too, although Howard should have saved them BOTH, I think. And a loss is a team loss, not an individual. I, however, don’t think we will ever again see Jonny in a USMNT uniform!

Coach Bradley should have brought Sacha in earlier. He shouldn’t have played a 4-6-0 line up, with NO forwards. Also, if Bradley would have given Jonny Bornstein more playing time, he would have been better prepared for this game. He hasn’t played in an actual soccer match in a month. Practice is not the same as a game.

I shouldn’t second guess the coach, he knows a lot more about his players and the game of soccer than I do! I just wish they would have somehow won the game. I will say that I think Mexico played better and deserved their win and title of CONCACAF Gold Cup Champions.

I was hoping Dempsey would have done MORE. They were wearing white, but I couldn’t really see many grass stains or dirt on his, that’s a tell tale sign that he wasn’t his usually rolling around self. Donovan does better when he has the ball. He didn’t have the ball much this game. Bedoya and Jones were invisible. Adu tried hard. Bradley deserved to be there, Cisco. Gooden was out of position, flat footed, and lost for a good portion of the game. Lichji was lost on his “natural” side. Bocanegra did his best. Howard DID not have his best game. He made absolutely no FABULOUS saves. And yes, Bornstein was lost out there and Mexico did they best to expose that fact.

I still love my USMNT guys. I feel sorry for them, I’m sure they are more sad than I am. I want to watch MORE soccer games!

oh, and I have a new favorite Galaxy player---Mike Magee....ask me why, if you are interested?????

Saturday

Spent my morning watching day 2 of the NHL draft, almost more fun than day one, actually.  Spent the afternoon watching the ESPN film The Two Escobars, WOW, is all I can say, I can not believe those things realllllly happened, but they did and I am SHOCKED.  Then watched the Kings press conference introducing Jimmer, Honeycutt, and Thomas to the world.  Now I am just waiting for the USMNT game.

The funniest thing I read on Twitter today was from one of the 18 year olds just drafted by the Florida Panthers...."I've decided to take my talents to South Beach".  That is SO funny to me because HE GOT DRAFTED, hahah, he didn't just decide to do it and he's an 18 year old KID!

I think Jimmer sounded extremely educated and bright in the press conference, but I couldn't keep up trying to count how many times Honeycutt said the words "You Know"....soooooo annoying.  The Thomas kid has a genuine smile and happiness about him.  I am excited about the Kings this season, especially if they start winning again!  Wonder if there is anyone they could trade to get Kevin Martin back, that would truly make me a reformed Kings fan.  Not going to happen, though.

My favorite part of the NHL draft was watching the guys who were "mic'd up" and I pretty much fell in love with the guy (and his family) who was drafted #2 in the draft by Colorado.  He was SUCH a nice kid.  I also felt emotion for the kid who was predicted by the "experts" to go around 70, so he came to the draft, all dressed in a suit, with his family....and sat there, all through the first round, the second round, the third, you get the idea....he was finally picked at 196.  He was picked by his home town team the Coyotes, so that made him and his family happy.  But I'm sure it was hard for him to watch all his teammates and friends get chosen while he sat and WAITED.  He played for the u-18 USA team and was one of the big stars and ALL of his teammates were chosen before him.  It was a mystery why he fell so far, why no one wanted him.

And there was another guy, he sat in a practically EMPTY arena, even his parents were no longer sitting beside him.....with his face in his hands, head hanging down.  He looks SOOOOOO SAD.  210 kids were drafted in 7 rounds.  This kid DID get drafted, but at #203.  He DID get drafted, so he should be very happy.....but that would be HARSH.

If you haven't seen the Two Escobars ESPN 30 for 30 you should!  Seriously!

Draft Day=Trade Day

These sport drafts are kind of putting William and I through the ringer of emotions. Yesterday William’s favorite player got traded away from the Kings, today one of his favorite players got traded away from the Sharks! William is ANGRY. Devin Setoguchi was the Sharks player traded. Just YESTERDAY he signed a contract that would keep him in San Jose for the next 3 years and he would earn NINE million dollars. I was on Twitter around 3 o’clock when I read Brodie Brazil saying the Sharks would be making an announcement at 4:00. For that entire hour people on Twitter speculated about what the announcement would be--- a trade, a signing, something exciting enough to have a press conference. When the news broke we were told that Setoguchi and the Sharks had reached an agreement for the contract I stated above. That meant, no trade, the Sharks get to keep Devin, their best bargaining chip.

This is how I feel about the Sharks----they were SO close to the Stanley Cup Finals with the team that they had last year. They were better than 27 NHL teams. They also had 2 top players with separated shoulders and one with a broken hand. The guy with the broken hand, couldn’t squeeze his stick, thus affecting his shot. One of the guys with a separated shoulder could not even put on his jersey himself, nor could he tie his own skates…..there is no way he could be effective on the ice like that. The other separated shoulder guy said that he couldn’t hit people, grip and/or lift his stick. So, the Sharks were THAT CLOSE with those injured guys, they should KEEP THE SAME TEAM TOGETHER and try again next year and hope for the best in the injury category.

Now they are BLOWING UP THE TEAM. They have already let go 3 of last year’s starters a week or so ago. They have about 7 players who are not under contract yet. And they just traded away a player who spent a big portion of the season playing on the Sharks TOP LINE. They also threw in the Sharks top prospect Charlie Coyle. They also gave away their only first round draft pick.
I hope they know what they are doing.
In return they got an All Star defender, Brent Burns, who racked up many points last year. He plays on the penalty kill and the power play, he plays many minutes, he is large, he rarely gets injured, and he is a #1 or #2 defender, which is what the Sharks need. Now Boyle wont have to play so much. Murray can work with Braun the youngster, Burns can be paired with Boyle, and Vlasic and Demers can be the other pairing. On paper (I mean written her on my blog) that defensive line up looks STRONG. I think the Sharks will miss Seto on their offense and I bet some day Coyle will be a super star, but you never know, so I guess trades are just gambles all around.
I watch a lot of press conferences, read a lot of articles, and have a sense about things and I can say that I don’t think that Seto was one of the coach’s “favorites”. A change might be good for everyone.

I’m sure Minnesota will be happy to get Seto. They were VERY bad last year. I bet Burns will be happy in San Jose. I wish it was October now, so I can watch the new look Sharks!

Blog Search

I have the blog tracker thing on my blog, down there in the right corner, and if I click on it I can see what words people typed into their search to get directed to my blog....the list today was pretty hilarious-

jimmer
carlos bocanegras tooth
why didn't jonathan spector play
bornstein
why doesn't jozy altidore cover his heart
why didn't landon donovan start
I'm so sad
I like tim howard because he sings the national anthem

Wonder what those people who find my blog think about it?  Bet most of them didn't find what they were looking for!

Last Day of Cub Camp

For the last day of camp the special even was an egg drop.  The organizers of the evert are usually able to get a fire truck with a ladder to go up high and drop the boys "protected" eggs.  This year the city would not send one over, just in case it was needed....but that was no problem, one of the volunteers works for a tree trimming service and he got their truck with the extension basket thingy to go up in.....Andrew put his egg inside of a squash.  He was pretty proud of it, but it didn't save the egg from the fall, the egg was busted when he went to retrieve it---

And after the picnic and egg drop the kids got to go to more activities.  This one was a rope toss.  Funny thing is that we just did this for part of a scout activity just two weeks ago....Andrew was really good at it.
Melanee, look in the background...can you see the Cooks???  Josh and Robin..... Frank was in Andrew's group.  They are friends now.  Did Frank really chase William around the house with a rock once?  Frank remembered you.

i Touch

I got an i Touch yesterday.  I LOVE it, it's so fun, especially "Words With Friends".  I got it from one of William's friends so it had music on it already.....932 songs, to be exact....so instead of trying to find a song while I drive and just for fun I went through and made a "Diane" playlist.  I went through NINE HUNDRED THIRTY TWO songs and made a playlist of 22 songs.  There are over 900 songs on my ipod that I dont like!!!!  I must not be very musically inclined.  I admit it, I don't like songs I have never heard before....and I know you are about to say, "You must have heard a song for the first time ONCE!"  but seriously, I don't like songs I have never heard before, not even the new primary song they are forcing us to learn.  Not even the songs that come on the radio in the car and Bradley can sing every word to it.....It's funny, I know, I have to had heard each song that I like for the first time once.....  I do remember the American Idol where Kelly Clarkson (was that the first one) I really liked "A Moment Like This" the first time I heard it.  That was the only time I remember something like that happening.   We have music people in our ward now who are trying to get us familiar with THE WHOLE hymn book and we NEVER sing "common" songs.  I hate all the obscure, lame songs.....I want to sing "Because I Have Been Given Much" and "The Spirit of God"....we NEVER get to.

Anyway, sorry to go on about that odd fact about me....but the music snob in me is tempted to do a mass delete, but I know the kid who sold me the i Touch spent many hours and dollars on all those tunes....I better keep them!

He will fit in

I just read on Twitter (cuz, I believe EVERYTHING I read on Twitter) that Jimmer's brother TJ is a rap artist....yeah, Jimmer with fit right in with the Kings!

haha...the wonders of photoshop

Jimmer, already in a Kings uniform!  So, do you think they photo shopped a Kings uniform on him or is that his head on someone else's body?!???!!!  haha.  This pic is from the Kings web site.

How come they aren't also  "welcoming" the other guys they picked up today, you think those guys may not even make the team?

Wonder what numbers they will be.  Salmons was 15 last time he was on the Kings, but that's cousins number now....and Jimmer was 32 in college, but that's now Garcia's number.

I guess this is now a soccer/hockey/basketball blog!

(Tomorrow is the NHL draft.  Saturday is the Gold Cup final.)

Bradley's are in the parenthases and blue....I even texted him after the first two and said "correct spelling please"

Soooooo Funnnnny

Jimmer

Remember a few years ago when I really wanted the Kings to draft Blake Griffin.  Well, I didn't want to blog about this before it happened because I didn't want to jinx it like I did the Blake Griffin thing, but I REALLY wanted the Kings to draft Jimmer Fredette.  Like REALLY wanted it to happen.  I wanted to sit and watch the draft and see it happen, but I had to take Andrew to the cub scout day camp....sooooo, I left Bradley home with distinct instructions to text me each draft pick.  He did it, too, and I am going to make a new post with his cute, original, but AWFUL spelling skills.  When it came to the Kings pick, Bradley was confused by all the trades they had made earlier and he texted me that they DIDN'T take Jimmer.  I was sad and mad and disappointed, until a few minutes later I got an actual phone call from Bradley telling me the good news....Jimmer is on the Kings!  YAY!  We have been following BYU basketball for two years now because one of Melanee's friends goes to BYU and she was a huge BYU sports fan.  She updated us on all the games via Facebook.  She was also in a class with ALL of the Basketball team, including Jimmer, so since I have a friend who is friends with Jimmer, that makes him my actual friend, right???  Or, just look at it this way, I follow him (and his girlfriend) on Twitter, so we are friends!  ok!!!!  Now MY friend is on MY team.  And I couldn't be happier.  College PLAYER of the YEAR is on my team.  Like Weber, Stojokavic, Williams, Divac, Bibby, Martin and all my favorite Kings before him, I bet they will go an trade him....they BETTER NOT!!!!!

William's favorite King Beno got traded today for an ex King John Salmons.  That really made William mad.  And I am concerned about Jimmer fitting in with all the rappin, gangsta, boys from the hood that make up the Kings team right now, but I guess he can be friends with Omri!  It's going to be a way better season!  GO KINGS!!!!

Cisco

I found this on Answers.com, you know it's kind of run by Wikipedia, so everything there is true and trusted, yeah right-----

In 2007, Congress addressed this for the first time in 36 USC 301. This U.S. Code therefore created the first mandated national anthem etiquette.
When the national anthem is played or sung, U.S. citizens should stand straight and rigid and salute at the first note and hold the salute through the last note. The salute is directed to the flag, if displayed, otherwise to the singer.

So, there, those players representing OUR country, in uniforms paid for by our country, who have just flown in a plane paid for by our country, are staying in a fancy hotel paid for by our country, eating good food paid for by...you get the idea.....they are playing for the USA, not some MLS team, not some high school team, not some pick up game, so they should just COVER THEIR HEART, bend their elbow, lift their hand, it's NOT THAT difficult.

I can see the guy from Sweden or Russian or even Canada playing for the Sharks in the US not covering his heart during that national anthem playing, but I just dont get players representing their country not showing any respect or care for their flag.

Michael Bradley, hummmmm, I guess you could argue that he isn't even a starter on his club team.  And that he turned over the ball a few times and failed to shoot that one time, but I think he belongs on the team!  I think if the coach was someone different than his dad he still would have been selected.  He knows the game of soccer, he's athletic, and he's talented.  Who would you replace him with?  Dax McCarty???  Ben Zemanski???  Brian Mullan???  Brad Davis????  Yeah, there's not much to choose from.

I guess you can't tell from my writing but I am JOKING when I say that Landon Donovan is the US's best player.  I agree with you, he has lost a step, he's on the down hill slope of his career, he is over hyped.

Cisco, I love your 2 cents, you should comment all the time!  Thanks!!!  I promise not to go all Wikipedia next time if you do.

Doubt it, but just in case

I doubt that anyone is rushing to my blog to read my thoughts about the US vs. Panama game today, but just in case they are (Melanee nor Dax could watch the game because of their duties at EFY)....I better write SOMETHING.

I missed the first 3 or 4 minutes of the game because I had to take Andrew all the way across town to cub scout day camp....in our town, there is NO fast way to get anywhere, the city and streets were not built to hold this many people, so all the cars, lights, and road work make it really hard.  Nothing happened (scoring) so I don't think I missed much.  It's probably good that I missed the National Anthem because I always get fairly freaked out when some of our national team players refuse to cover their hearts while the National Anthem is playing.  Now, I know that it is "customary" to cover your heart during the Pledge of Allegiance, but I think respect for our flag and our country should also be shown during our national anthem!  How hard is it to cover your heart?  I think it takes MORE effort NOT to cover your heart!!!!  Just plain RUDE.

I spent a HUGE portion of today sitting on my couch.  I watched the Red Carpet arrival to the NHL awards show starting at 2:00, before that Jimmer was on the computer on a video chat, and after that was the pregame show for the soccer game.  After the game I went to Young Womens where we practiced our camp skit and made a poster for our theme "Stripling Warrior's Girlfriends".  Then when I got home William and I watched the over time of the Mexico game IN SPANISH.  Lots of couch time.  I feel like I should get up and run around the block!!!!

The starting line up was not how I predicted NOR how I wanted it to be, but the US won the game, so I am happy.  Landon Donovan did not start the game.  The "best" player on the team should go 90 minutes.  Something must be up with his health.  Either that, or----He is NOT the Best Player on the Team.  I didn't even seen Jonathan Bornstein on the camera even once.  That's ok, the team that was on the field played a very good game.  There was only one goal scored, so many not familiar with soccer would say that it must have been a boring game, but it wasn't.  The US played the first half with a lot of possession and organization.  The second half was more disorganized, but it was in the second half that the US scored on a counter attack which was exciting to watch in regular time, but when slowed down, it was almost one of those situations where the opponents MISTAKES caused the goal almost as much as the attacking team having great skill or teamwork.  The ball went through a defender's legs (5 hole, for you hockey fans, haha).  Neither defender nearest to Donovan went to him, giving him a lot of time.  The other 2 defenders the ball went past failed to even lift their legs in effort to get a foot on the ball and the goalie didn't move an inch.  Dempsey did put the ball into the back of the net with a guy RIGHT ON HIM, so that was good, and Donovan's pass was on the ground, which is easier to score on than a lofted pass.  So all in all, it was a great goal.  Any goal is a great goal when it's the GAME WINNER.

Sacha is one player I don't reallllllly like, but I secretly root for him because he gets so much criticism.  He lost the ball a few times, but he also really tried hard the entire time he was in the game.  A for effort!  I though Michael Bradley played a better game than last game.  He stole the ball back a few times after he lost it.  He seems so calm on the ball.  I wish he would have shot when he was INSIDE THE BOX, but he seems to be a pass first type of player.  Dempsey scored and pointed to Donovan instead of his usually rap star antics and celebrations.  The goal will be on highlight reels, but he didn't do any chest trap to bicycle kick or scorpion kicks this time.  They were wearing their dark uniforms, but I'm sure if they were white, Dempsey would have been the dirtiest player on the field.  He gets KNOCKED ALL AROUND.  I wonder if he just creates a lot of contact or if opposing players just want to knock him down????  They also seemed to want to take down Bedoya.  He spent a fair amount of time getting fouled and pulling himself up off the ground.  Panama is not very good at shooting the ball.  They had a few good chances, which they blew.  A 1-0 game in soccer is always scary, the team with zero can tie it at any moment.  The US really needed to score more than 1 to be able to relax and let the fans relax.  You see, if they WIN this Gold Cup tournament they are guaranteed a spot in the Confederations Cup the year before the next World Cup.  I'm sure they want to be there and I really want them to be there, too, so I can have more soccer to watch!!!

1.  Michael Bradley
2 Carlos Bocanegra
3 Stevie Cherundolo
4 Clint Dempsey
5 Sasha Kljestan
6 Tim Howard
7 Landon Donovan
8  Alejandro Bedoya
9. Freddy Adu
 10 Eric Lichaj
11 Jermaine Jones

12  Clarence Goodsen

13  Juan Agudelo

..... my top 13 of those who played in the game today.  Not really in the order of how well they played, just in order of how well I like them.

Here's what I would do

All the so called experts, reporters, analysts all have their ideas of how they would set the line up for tonight's USMNT game against Panama.  I wish we had a say, but we don't.  Just like all the people on Twitter today stating who they think will win the NHL awards.  What we think does not matter in the least.  I think Skinner might win the Calder because I bet a lot of people who do get to vote have 14 year old daughters who are telling them to vote for Skinner cuz he's cute and has a great smile.  Well, Logan Couture broke the rookie record for GAME WINNING GOALS and his team made the playoffs.  I have heard, though, that Couture has a bunch of bonuses in his contract that state that if he wins end of season awards, he will get paid a nice sum, which will go against the team's salary cap, so if he doesn't win, that's ok, I want the Sharks to win the Stanley Cup more than one of their players winning individual awards.  And Skinner is JUST 18 years old.  William's age!!!  Unbelievable.

Anyway, back to fans having opinions which don't matter one bit.........here's mine----  Bob Bradley should start Chris Wonodlowski because the other guy Agudelo played 90 minutes last game and will probably need to be available for 90 minutes next game, so let Chris play, he runs around, he is smart, and the way laws of averages and statistics work, he's DUE for a goal soon!

If Steve Cherundolo hurt his shoulder last game, it looked like he did, he should rest this game, have Lichaj play right back and Jonathan Bornstein play left back.  ORRRRRRR  have Jonathan Spector play right back and Jonathan Bornstein play left back.  I'd like that.  But I am not blind, I have seen Lichaj hold his own in Bornstein's place, so I am not going to get my hopes up!

The team played well without Landon Donovan last game and I think he knows that, so I think he's hungry and eager to be the "star" again.  I would start him and I bet he will have a much better game and try much harder.  He can replace Bedoya.  Dempsey seems to always scoot to the middle of the field, so does Kljestan, so does everybody on the team, so that could pose a problem.  Bradley and Jones seem to stay in the same place, cover the same person, and run to the same spots, since Jones is playing on a yellow card, I'd sit him, and start Edu.  He, like Donovan, will want to get on the field and show everyone what he can do.   I just want them to win.  GO USA!!!!

Andrew is SO tall

When dropping Andrew off at cub camp I noticed that all the kids there were SMALL.  ALL of them.  Then I realized, maybe, they are average height and Andrew is just SUPER tall.  I have always known that he was tall, but this past school year he was in a class with 3rd and 4th graders, so he wasn't ginormous like he had been when he was a 2nd grader in a 1st/2nd class....but at cub camp, when the kids are 7, 8, and 9 and he's a 9 year old, he looks, really, out of place.  Not really, he's just tall!  He's growing....no wonder my groceries keep disappearing.

EFY

EFY stands for Especially For Youth....it's a church program set up like a 5 day summer camp where youth ages 14-18 come to learn, have fun, and grow closer to Christ.  Melanee is a counselor or leader this year for 5 weeks.  I asked her how it was going and she said "WONDERFUL"....I found some pictures of her on Facebook.

It sure looks like she is having fun.  I know it is hard work with hardly any breaks, but she is good at stuff like this and I'm sure she will be good for the kids, too!

Cub Scout Twilight Camp

Today was the first day of a 3 day long cub scout day camp.  Andrew DID NOT want to go today at 3:30 (it started at 4).  He said he had been to camp in the past and it was not going to be any fun.  I really did NOT want to cause a big fight or force him, but I really wanted him to go because I paid $45 dollars for it and because I offered rides to some other kids.  I calmly told him to get on his shoes, I made him a lunch box full of his favorite snacks, and I got in the car.  He got in also.  On the way there we guess what color the shirts would be, guessed what activities they would have, and talked about how he scored the only touchdown in the flag football game last year on an interception run back.  The other two boys we picked up were excited to go, so that helped also.  When we got there all was fine.  Andrew is a confident kid, always brave.  He walked right up to the desk, got signed in, walked to the table where his group was meeting and didn't even ask for me to stay.  When I came to pick him up he was happy as can be.  He almost got a bulls eye in archery, first thing tomorrow they are making marshmallow shooting guns, and they played a "duck duck goose" game where they had a sponge and said "drip, drip, squeeze" instead of "duck, duck, goose" and he wants to play that game at home "if we ever get bored this summer".  He saw tons of friends from school, church, soccer, and was even separated from his "best friend" from our pack, but that didn't seem to bother him one bit!  (They are WILD together, I wonder who separated them or if it was divine intervention, haha, but them separated IS a good thing for whoever would have been their leader if they were together!)
The other boys had a great time too.  The drive home reminded me of drives home from Girls Camp, where the girls talk NON STOP about their different adventures.  And these boys had only been there 4 hours!!!

*tomorrow at 4:00, the USMNT has a game, the NHL has their awards ceremony, and Andrew needs to be driven across town.  I told the moms of these two kiddos that I was "busy" and couldn't give them a ride tomorrow.....was HOPING one would offer to take Andrew, but neither did.....I HOPE William will be home from work, or I guess I'll have to rely on my unreliable VCR if not.  Too bad Bradley doesn't know how to drive!!!

Do They Know the Meaning of "Prompt"?

I don't think they do!  "They" is the people at "Prompt Care".  It's a low budget, grimy, grungy, dirty, germy, run down, absolutely sickening excuse for a medical center I have ever seen in my LIFE.  We recently got a new insurance for the kids.  The insurance requires us to have a primary care physician, but I called EVERY SINGLE doctor on the published list and NOT ONE of them said that they were accepting new patients at this time.  So I called the insurance people and they said I could got to "Prompt Care".  I even called "Immediate Care" and "Urgent Care" but they wouldn't take us.  Bradley has been complaining of an ear ache for a few days.  Last night he was up in the middle of the night in real pain.  So, this morning, I took him in.  Walked in the door.  No one helped us.  Told us to have a seat after a while.  Then 20 minutes later called us to the check in desk.  Checked in for quite a while then sent back to the "seats" which were ugly, uncomfortable, unclean, and the whole area was just nasty.  The clientele wasn't any better.  I guess I must be a doctor's office snob, because I felt OUT OF PLACE there.  I did not feel AT ALL comfortable there.  I felt like I was about to catch a disease.  THEN, it got instantly WORSE......2 guys walked in the door, one VERY bloody, shirtless, and pale, in shock certainly....the other was his co-worker.  He had fallen from a roof.  I have NO IDEA why the co worker didn't take him to the EMERGENCY ROOM a few blocks away.  The co worker LEFT HIM THERE!  The desk people would not answer any questions about his care or any type of diagnosis, but checked him in and took him back in a wheel chair, past all of us who had been waiting in the waiting room at least an hour by then.  I really didn't mind that he took cuts, he was more severe than any of the rest of us....but I was REALLY grossed out after seeing him in the condition he was in and all the blood.  I know from this experience today that the medical field is NOT the one for me.  After an hour and a half in the waiting room they took Bradley and I back.  All the other patients were behind curtains, the place didn't even have rooms, just curtained off sections.  BUT, lucky us we were brought to the WAAAAAAAYYYYY back, and put into a room, the room right next door to the extremely bloody roofer.  It was a SUPPLY closet.
And believe me when I say, it was NOT a REAL room.  Two different times doctors (or whatever they have there) came in there to get slings or garbage bags or whatever they needed out of the supply closet.  We waited in there for a LONG time, maybe another HOUR before our "doctor' came in.  He had a VERY Spanish accent and with the old, loud humming sound of the air conditioner combined with the thick accent I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THE GUY WAS SAYING TO ME.  I did get the "green" inside his ear.  I also heard "bacteria".  That's about it.  I thought he said I'll be right back with a perscription, but he didn't come back for another half hour or so and actually it was a nurse who finally brought us the little paper I could have told them at the front desk 3 hours earlier that is all that we needed.

So we got the antibiotics we came for and began to leave.  But that's when I remember that it would be a good time to get a prescription for an epi pen.  The doctor looked at the cell phone pictures of Bradley's last reaction then he told us to wait for a bigger reaction, like if Bradley stops breathing or if his whole arm swells up to his shoulder, not just his hand.  WHAT?  No, makes NO sense to me!!!

I can tell you, we went to the wrong place.  And they should read their sign when they come to work each day, the one that says in big bold letters "PROMPT".

Strobe Light

This did not turn out very good (*if Cameron were here I could ask him if I should have used the word "well" here), but I am sharing it anyway...I bet it will bring back good memories for Melanee of front room dance parties ---
yeah, we have a strobe light, we're cool like that!

I kind of love these guys

I like the San Jose Sharks because they seem like such a nice group of fun guys.  I feel like they are my friends almost.  I enjoy the sport of hockey, especially when played by my buds, the Sharks!  Now, soccer, that is a different concept all together.  Soccer is MY sport.  I played it when I was a kid, a teenager, an adult.  I've watched many games live, on tv, and have even followed along on my computer.  I've coached the game.  I've enjoyed the game since I first noticed it.  There is not a lot of professional soccer to follow, unless you are willing to pay for the FOX soccer channel!  Melanee's soccer season is the MOST exciting, but it's in Virginia and doesn't start for a few more months.  William's high school soccer was fun, but he didn't get tons of playing time and his team wasn't all that good.  I can't wait for his college soccer season to begin.  Bradley and Andrew's soccer games are entertainment (sort of).  Major League Soccer is ok, but if you've watched ANY Champions League soccer or international soccer, MLS is weak in comparison.  The closest team to Chico is the San Jose Earthquakes, and a lot of their games ARE televised, but not live, since there is usually an A's or a Giants game on at the same time.  I have followed other MLS games on my computer, like the Galaxy and the Chivas, but what I am getting to is......there is SOMETHING BETTER than MLS, even though MLS is not bad.....It's the United States Mens National Soccer team.  I love these guys!  I really do.  Most of them are not as "likable" as the players on the Sharks.  The team that gets selected or called into camp is not always the same players, so the "team" changes which each tournament.  The line up is often different.  It's really weird that I like them so much, but they are MY team, whether number 22 is Bedoya, Holden, or Donovan.  Whether Onyewu plays or sits.  I even like the guys who mess up, yell at their teammates, or are covered in tattoos.

I love the red jerseys, even though SO MANY other countries have red for their team colors.  They just look sharp...the miss America sash, doesn't even bother me.

I even love this team when my absolute favorite players are sitting on the bench or even up in the luxury box eating nachos and buffalo wings.

So, are you waiting for my game recap, my player rankings, my observant observations of today's game?

Do you care that we had to leave to go to church before halftime and my VCR was not working?

Do you want to know that I was so nervous/excited about the game that I started to feel ill?  (That usually only happens for hockey games!!!!)

The US had a win or go home situation today.  Those are THE BEST.  The MOST intense.

Landon Donovan, one of the teams "best" players chose his sister's wedding over training.  His travel plans didn't get him back to the team until 7:00 am.  So, he did not get to start the game.  I am GLAD.  He needs to be more dedicated.  His sister needs to plan her weddings better.  He needs to hire a private jet or leave earlier to get himself back earlier than 7:00 AM.  Bench his sorry self.  He hasn't even had that good of a tournament so far anyway, he is on the down slope of his career.  His "resting" and not playing in England, did NOT improve his game.

But I was sad to see that Chris Wondolowski was one of the players not in uniform.  I sure wish he would have scored when he got all his chances.  Don't know how many more chances he will actually get.  Well, maybe a few, Jozy Altidore went out of the game with an injury today.  Jonathan Spector was also out of the line up.  It's not fair that these guys train with the team, while Donovan and Dempsey dont, and Donovan and Dempsey get to play in the games.   Very high schoolish.

I don't like divers in soccer, also known as floppers!

The referee looked like Dracula!!!!

When we watch a video taped game, the picture is not as clear.  In the line up today were 10 dark haired players and Michael Bradley (MB90).  While watching the game, MB90 was the only one I could really pick out of a crowd.  I can tell Donovan by how he runs.  I could tell Lichaj because he was usually on the right side.  I could not really tell Bedoya, Kljestan, Dempsey, Agudelo, or Jones apart many times because they scattered about randomly......I could usually tell Goodson from Bocanegra cuz Goodsen is so much taller.  Cherundolo confused me sometimes because he would run up there into the mix of random scattered players.  It's ok, though, as long as THEY knew what they were doing it doesn't matter if I think they seemed disorganized.  They, themselves, seemed to figure out that the on the ground, straight up the middle, pass to the forwards is too hard to collect, turn, and do something with.  They seemed to figure that getting to the corner and doing a cutback works better than a blind cross to the center with only one teammate there surrounded by 4 opponents.  They controlled the outside.  Their finishing was better.  Their first touch was better....hey, maybe ALL these things were improved by the absence of one large, slow, doofy Jozy Altidore.

The US played a very good game.  They tried to hold possession as much as possible.  They were pretending to be Spain with all the passing, but they really didn't move like Spain, so it was a little silly to pass, pass, pass, but never really move forward.  It's ok, they won, and that's all that matters---SCOREBOARD, right.  The first goal was exciting because I really wanted them to score, but it was a lucky goal, because it was redirected by the Jamaican defender, so the goalie did not have a chance.  The second goal was scored by Clint Dempsey on a great cross after Jamaica had gone down to 10 men after a red card.  Dempsey dribbled right around the goalie and scored.  2-0 is a way better lead than 1-0.  I was happy with the win, happy that I get to watch my favorite team more.  Happy that they were happy.  Woohoo USMNT!!!!

Blogging

I watched a marathon of "House" episodes yesterday when my back hurt.  One of them dealt with a patient who blogged her every move and every thought and asked her readers for their opinions on what she should do.  Parts of the episode hit home....I laughed at some because I have had the same kinds of conversations with Scott.  So it made me think about blogging.....haha....I wish I had more followers and followers who would donate a kidney if I needed one....but it also made me think that blogging is kind of stupid.

But if Melanee can read this and see her brothers growing up, or Scott's family living in 5 different states can feel a little more like they know their cousins, or if I can make new friends like Olivia, then blogging is worth it.

And if I ever make this blog into a book, I'm sure it will be a family treasure.

Park and Swimming

We went to Oak Way Park the other day.  It a park that we used to go to when the kids were barely walking...now they are almost too big for the playground equipment.

They got hot at the park so we went swimming to cool off...well, they went swimming, I just watched and took pictures-

This morning I told them they had to start reading, doing flash cards, and chores before any fun stuff....I let them make their own chore check lists.  They both put on them "dust tv".  Guess I'll never have to do that again...oh, wait, I never do that, except when Levi is going to come over to watch sports with us!

What is on your Phone Camera?

I saw a friend of Krisha do something like this once, so I am going to do it and ask if any of the rest of you who read this and have a blog want to do the same...it would be fun to see what odd stuff you have on your camera in your phone....just text them to your e mail address to get them off your phone onto your computer.

When William and I were deciding on Graduation announcements we had A LOT of trouble with the computer, the sites, the costs, the decisions.....at one point William had to leave for somewhere so I worked on an announcement then took a pic of the computer screen then texted it to him...he didn't like this one.  Hey, I should scan in the one we actually did have made so you can see that one!  (future post idea)  (or my memory is so bad, did I already do that???)

When we were at William's graduation we had a while to wait and we were bored, so I decided to look at the pictures on my dad's camera, he had like 10 of them (or less) and this was the first one....it was us at Melanee's graduation....funny cuz here we were 3 years later, exact same place, William now in that exact same cap and gown.  I also learned that my dad really doesn't take many pictures....like 10 in THREE years!!!!

This next one is funny because it is NOT a picture I wanted....this sign had a misspelling.  It said ...oh, something, I cant remember, and William is not awake to ask, but I wanted it for my blog, it was like a wrong homophone word or improper punctuation or something a worker SHOULD have known how to spell and SOMEONE should have noticed and fixed it, but didn't......so I drove by the sign and told William to take a picture, but as I drove by the sign would switch to this part of the message my drive speed timing was all off....so I went around and came back on the other side of the street and had him try to take one through the back window, didn't work, so I went around again...you get the idea....and we never got the shot I wanted.  It was a little frustrating...I KNOW I could have done it, but I was driving!
We had a special stake conference a couple months ago and our stake center wasn't big enough for everyone, people were all over the buildings in rooms with tv's watching the live action, I wanted to sit in a room rather than the gym because I can hear better with a volume I can turn up.  When we first sat in the room it was just our family.  William pulled up a padded rocking chair and found a little chair for a foot rest....looks pretty commffyyy, huh?
Go look at your phone pics, bet they are random, too!  (now it's going to bug me ALL NIGHT....I NOW HAVE to figure out WHAT that sign said and what was wrong with the spelling!  ugh!!!)

Bouchelles

HI!!!!  Thanks for commenting on my blog!  (no one hardly EVER does).  I didn't know how to write back to you so I thought I would make another post, call it by your name, and hopefully you would come back here sometime and see it.

If I would have known you would see and read my blog post about visiting with Melanee's Virginia friend I would have written MORE.

The other person in the first picture is Elder Bouchelle's companion, Elder Horning.  Funny thing about him is that my dad's last name is Hooning.  Close, similar names, but mail men should not get the two confused, should they???  Well, my dad's did one time and my dad was delivered a package for Michael Horning.  It was my dad's address on the package AND my dad does have a nephew named Michael Hooning, so I guess he was wondering what was in it, coming to him, for his brother's son.....but when he saw what was in the package he KNEW it was NOT for him, it was a box full of Book of Mormons.  He knew the missionaries lived across the street, so he brought it over to them.

After Melanee told my dad that she knew the new missionary who moved in there, he saw them one day and told him, or maybe it was the other way around, because I know that Melanee told you that her grandpa lived across the street.  They just briefly talked the first time, but later, the missionaries brought my dad a piece of cake.  He said, "no thanks, I'm diabetic (slightly)" but he kept it.  It was german chocolate, cherry cake...his FAVORITE, and he ATE IT!  He enjoyed it a lot.

Yesterday I stayed at my dad's house because he had carpal tunnel release surgery.  I got the missionaries phone number from our missionaries and texted them that I knew they were busy because it was P-Day, but if they wanted to, they should come over and say "hi".  They said they would.  I met them at the door and chatted a bit, but my dad came to the door and said, "Come on in, you are letting out all my cool air".  LOL.  So they came in and we visited for a while with me doing MOST of the talking (because I have hearing loss and talk too much to compensate for having to listen and not being able to hear....I know HOW RUDE of me to talk so much!!!!!).

It was fun.  Elder Bouchelle had on an SVU t shirt, so that was funny!  It would have been WAY funnier if I had been wearing MINE!!!  Elder Horning basically said nothing cuz we talked all about SVU.  I wanted to know more about the school and the mens soccer team because William will be going there next semester and I had some questions.

Then today when Scott came to pick me up, I told him about meeting Elder Bouchelle and he asked a bunch of questions that I didn't ask, so I said, "do you want to meet him?" and he did.  We were already in the car leaving, so I texted them, but they didn't answer so Scott pulled from my dad's driveway into their driveway and stopped the car and called them.  Elder Bouchelle seemed happy to visit, but I bet he was mad we interrupted his scripture study!!!!  He didn't act mad.  One of the first things he noticed was the SVU sticker on my bumper!  He had a great smile, I think I said that in the other post.  While we were talking my dad came out and told me I forgot my tooth brush, so I'm glad we stopped!  haha.  I NEED my toothbrush!!!

We really love all the missionaries.  They are so cool.  Thanks to all of you who send your sons out.  I KNOW it's going to be HARD for me to send William off on his mission!!!!

USA game

I again had to watch the USMNT game on the laptop. I really wish they showed the games on actual channels that real people get. My dad pays like $100 for his satellite and doesn't even get FOX soccer channel. I wish it was on tv so the players would look bigger to my eyes, but more importantly so that I can tape Sunday's game because it will be played WHILE WE ARE AT CHURCH! WHY, why does this always happen to me? During hockey playoffs, the Sharks had a ton of Sunday games. Other teams did not. Now there are 4 semi final games happening this weekend, and the US is on Sunday....when I have ALL Saturday free and available to watch!!!!

Well, I wanted to title this post "My 3 thoughts on today's game" then write in the main part- 1. Where is Jonathan Bornstein. 2. Where is Jonathan Bornstein. 3. Where is Jonathan Bornstein. I thought that would be a funny post.....and maybe it would get Richard Crist back to commenting on my blog.....but I didn't think Eric Lichaj played all that bad AND I did SEE Jonathan Bornstein IN UNIFORM at the end of the game when they were out there exchanging jerseys!!!!  That was exciting, I think he was on camera for 1/3 of a second, but I definitely saw the 12 on a pair of white shorts.  If the US has such a problem with Left Backs, why don't they play Bornstein?!?!?!???!!!   I did hear back during the Spain game, I think it was, that he sustained a slight injury in practice....I also watched a little highlight film taken at one of their practices and he was beat on the first 3 goals they showed........haha

I guess Melanee, Dax, and Dax's brother have a nick name for Clint Dempsey and he sure lived up to it tonight----Clint "CANT FINISH" Dempsey.  WOW!  WOW, Clint, I could have scored on some of those and I am a 40 something year old lady who hasn't played soccer in YEARS.  At least now Chris Wondolowski doesn't have the distinction of having the worst miss in US soccer history.  Thanks, Clint, cuz I like Chris better than YOU.

And I made a big deal last time about Panama being smaller in population than Atlanta....well, Guadaloupe is NOT EVEN A COUNTRY and the USMNT could only score ONE goal on them.  The goal was a BEAUTY, though!  They say that low scoring games are the most exciting because anyone can win at any time (or tie like in the Canada/Panama game today).....I disagree, I enjoy myself a HIGH scoring game.  Goals are FUN.  Misses, not so much!

I hope the US wins on Sunday so I can have another game to watch....and because I really like the team.....but I also hope to see MORE SCORING and either (or BOTH) of the Jonathans.......Spector and Bornstein!!!!!  I thought Steve Cherundolo had a great game, so he probably wont get replaced.....and I sure hope he doesn't get injured, so PLEASE play Spector as halfback, he can do all and everything Donovan has lately.  I am so disappointed in Donovan.  He is NOT the same.  The rest he "needed" slowed him a step, messed with his free kick ability, his passing touch, and his MIND.  Get in the game Landon, and cover your guy on defense, too.

Melanee's Friend

Melanee has a friend from Virginia who is serving his mission in The California Roseville Mission.  No, he's not serving in OUR ward right now (Chico "Worst" Ward), but he is my dad's across the street neighbor....so while I was at my dad's house yesterday I got to meet him.  And when Scott came over to pick me up this morning, I asked him if he wanted to meet Elder Bouchelle, and he said yes.  Scott called him up, said "I'm in your driveway" and he came out to meet Scott.  What was the first thing Scott said???  "Diane, get a picture for your blog"!!!  haha, so I did!

He's very nice!  He MAY think we are a little "stalkerish" in making him come meet us, but he has a smile on his face the whole time.  Very nice kid!

It's the EYES

I think the reason Bradley looks so different to me is because the areas around his eyes are so swollen....
And underneath one of them he's starting to get a black eye.  See the little dot on the bridge of his nose....THAT is where he got stung, not his eye, his nose....swelling is weird, it just goes anywhere.  Anyone know how or where to get an epi pen, SO MANY people have told us to have one....you know, just in case he gets stung on the tongue or near the neck/throat area.  Do I have to make a dr. appointment?  Or can I just go to a pharmacy?  They don't just sell them at Rite Aid, do they?

Just Resting their eyes

Church was SO BORING today....you know, "dry" councilman Sunday....I looked around and saw SEVEN people asleep.  SEVEN.
