For Melanee

I thought you'd like to watch the Kings being announced. I like how they all run and jump into each other....someone is going to get hurt doing that!

(I also videoed the whole Jabbawockeez dance....then somehow deleted it!!!!!!!!!!!!!)(oops!!!!!)(Sorry)

If you want to hear the announcer, you'll have to turn off the music...just go down on the right side bar and click "pause" (Looks like ll )

You'll hear Bradley yelling.

And notice how Bobby Jackson doesn't jump up and chest bump...he's getting too old. lol.

And when they are all in the circle doing the "Kings Dance" their back and forth is all off....must be the addition of 8 new players in the past week or so.

More Kings Pictures (these are in no particular order)

Jabbawockeez

This is Donte Greene. (The one going out to high five his teammates.) He's a rookie. He tries really hard when he gets in the game. He's funny. There is a youtube type show called the "Donte Green Show" that you can watch on YouTube or even the Kings web site that is really funny. I was impressed that he was always cheering on his teammates and being energetic and happy.
This is Slamson after halftime warming up with the Clippers. I put that on here because he was really funny stretching with this guy, then he went on to joke around with the refs. Slamson is the mascot in the Lion costume. William announced today that he figured out what he wants to be when he grows up.....he wants to be Slamson, or some other mascot.
This was Kevin Martin (and another player) walking out to the locker room, there were still a few seconds on the clock, so I thought this was pretty bad sportsmanship.
These two characters were dancing during one of the time outs, they got on the Jumbotron. They were pretty good dancers.
This is the guy that runs around trying to get the crowd into the game. He came up to our section.
These are the 'thundersticks" dropping from the ceiling. Andrew REALLLLLLLLY wanted one. None came near us.
This is Slamson in his Jabbawockeez mask. He also did a bunch of hip hop dance moves.
This was during the national anthem. An elementary school choir sang.
Kevin Martin is the Kings captain this year. This was before the "coin toss" if NBA games even have coin tosses...that I don't know.....but he went up there and talked to all the refs and other team's captain. He seemed really confident and happy.
These are all the retired jerseys that hang in the rafters at Arco. (the whitest one is Chris Webbers.)
I loved watching the guys warm up. When you watch on tv, you just get to see what is going on behing Grant and Jerry, you can only watch what the camera picks up. When you are at the game you can see the guys personalities. I think Donte and JT are good friends. They talked to each other and played around a lot together. At one point JT knocked Donte off his feet. It was funny. Another time when they were messing around, they ran into Andres Nocioni. He was a little startled, but they all shook hands or high fived, so I guess he forgave the "rookies". One guy, #7 Rashad McCants warmed up in his shorts and sleeveless warm up shirt, he didn't have on the warm up sweats. When the national anthem time came close one of the ball boy type helper guys followed him around trying to get him to take his warm ups. He did FINALLY put them on, but didn't snap the pants, and they were OFF as soon as the song was over.
Grant and Jerry during the warmups.

The House Party Live pregame show.

Andrew said, "Here take my picture." I don't know if Bobby Jackson is his favorite player or if he just wanted a picture by the first poster he saw....but last time we went to a game, Andrew didn't come, and he saw the pictures we took of Mel by Kevin Martin and William by Francisco. So he probably wanted one like theirs.

This little coach and Shareef worked out with Donte Greene the whole time we watched pregame warmups courtside.
Donte, Kevin, and Cisco were the only players warming up on the court this time. None of them came over to sign autographs! Shucks!
This trainer stretched Kevin Martin like a rubber band. He pulled, pushed, and bent poor Kevin in every direction possible! All of my pictures of this turned out bad....but William wanted me to get a shot of Kevin's boxers because Scott always gives William a really hard time about how low he wears his shorts and how much boxers are showing out of the top....well, Kevin had the same thing going on!!!!! can you see his very colorful boxers?
Bradley and Andrew by one of the statues in front of Arco. (look at those smiles)
There was a basket outside of the arena. Bradley asked, "Can I touch it?" lol. sure go ahead.
Arco from our parking spot.

2-28-09 Bradley's Soccer Game

Bradley probably wont like that I put this one on here, but it's a pretty good "action" shot. (Taken by ME, while coaching.)

William's team ALMOST won

They were tied at the end of regulation 41-41 (yes, you read that correct! 41 points!), but lost in overtime. William fouled out!

Crafty Blog Tag

I took this (all of it, even the intro paragraph) from my good friend Krisha's blog.

So I am only posting this because the persons whose blog I read it on is SUPER creative and crafy, and I want her to make me something, so I will follow the rules and post it on my blog! Post a comment if you dare, but I make no promises it will be super cute and crafty! (But I will send you something!!)

Here's how the game goes.
1. Read rules
2. Decide if this is for you
3. Comment to join in the fun.Lucky you!

The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It’ll be done this year. (I won't take the whole year...don't worry)
4. You have no clue what it’s going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry or maybe even some creation I haven’t even invented yet. I may draw or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that’s for sure!
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me!* * *Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!

Sacramento Kings Game

We are going to the Kings game on Friday!!!! They are playing the Clippers (a team they MIGHT be able to actually beat.) At halftime the Jabbawockeez are performing. They are even giving away Jabbawockeez t-shirts. We have 5 tickets so we are all going. (Last time Scott and Andrew had to stay home.) GO KINGS!!!!!

William

I wanted to show a lady at work what William looked like (she thinks that Bradley and Andrew look alike, so she wanted to see if William looked like them also), so I clicked on my blog to find one and had to scroll WAY down, so here's a picture of William and one of our chickens...not sure of it's name, possibly Bob Saget (but I think that is the rabbit), or Jennifer (I think that is the goose), maybe Renaldo, but I'M sure this chicken has a NAME, I'll have to ask him tomorrow.
(LOVE the fake smile!........Looks like Andrew's on soccer picture day (below).)
Anyway, do you think William, Bradley, and Andrew all look similar????

Andrew (after his game)

Bradley Action Shots (taken by Scott)

Andrew Action Shots

These are some of the pictures I took during Andrew's game. Some are good action shots, (One of them shows how he was "playing" MOST of the game, can you pick it out?)
