2 Tim 2:13 says that "if we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself."
The true meaning is this: Do not use this verse as an excuse not to pray, and still expect God to answer your desires or questions during these times when you are feeling faithless. Rather, it is to continue to pray daily, no matter how short your prayer is, as the smallest act of faith that God hears us. And it is through this very ounce of faith you displayed that He will remain faithful to answer your every need.
