ok enuff of self-praise. because this template happens to have this space where i can doodle, i shall rant on abt thyself. well, its my blog. so i command as i please, n u listen !!!
hmm. choosing and building ur own blog isnt too hard, so i urge everybody to go set up one..! if u happen to be one of those people who believe that blogs are a waste of time, u r so wrong. precisely my point, i NEED my blog because ive got too much time to waste. moreover, how else can people i want to constantly keep in touch with be updated on my life !?

after reaching our hotel, i immediately dumped my lugguage n starting snapping fotos. this is the view from our hotel room .. check out the shops. we r gonna be busy busy busy!!

because this hotel is opened by the same owner of wang wang biscuits (hotel is called shen wang fan dian), the logo printed on everything in the hotel is this biscuit logo. cute eh, thats our towels.
after dumping all our baggage, we excitedly hit the train station, which is right outside our hotel, to shihlin.

1st food stop.. our policy was to queue whereva the queue was long. and this shop that serves cold noodles looked packed, so we decided to sit down n share a bowl of it. oh my goodness it was fantabulous. the peanut sauce mixed so well with the noodles.

la cha, teh tarik in our language. before that we had buns n bubble tea, so we shared a packet of this.
couldnt stop eating. who goes to taiwan n not eat? discarding our diet plans (which was a terrible move, now i know) we ordered a fishball stick which had 4 fishballs or wateva balls in different sauces. yumyumm. look how happy yan is.

this meesuah is so rocking good people stood around to eat it. this is the 2nd day when we went to ximending to shop n eat yet another day away.

after we got really tired from the walking and the heat ( it was like 30 plus degrees everyday ) we sat down at a teahouse, the kind with stuffedtoys, swings and all.

at night, proceeded to sogo to check out what they had, since it was so near our place. however we dig cheap stuff, so we didnt get anything from sogo.
joined another queue and found out that tong luo shao is really THAT good.
its like cream puffs that are freshly made, when u bite into them warm cream cheese ooooozzesss out. mmmmmmm.

wanted to get muahchee, and was directed by a cab driver to this japanese store. it was actually damn ex, but the jelly and stuff were really quite good.

at the night of the 2nd day, we watched some jacky wu programme on tv and saw that there were alot of things to eat and buy at this place called lao jie on danshui. so we took the mrt there the next day. this is the nicest train station in taiwan that ive seen so far, at danshui.
we found wonderful tie dan. its chicken egg cooked and shrunken to this size. because yan forgot that they were eggs, she had 20 of them in a day, and suffered grotest bloating and indigestion.
some temple. temples r a big deal over there cus ppl kept asking us to go bai bai.
we thought it meant big intestines wrapped around small intestines, but no its big sausages around small sausages. didnt eat that cause we are not huge fans of sausages.
we chose the ever meaty yakitori!! theres like lamb n other meats. damn gooood stuff.
and i braved a chou dou fu. smelly tofu. it actually rocks.
had their famous bing tang hu lu. always wondered wat it was, and found out its just a layer of solidified sugar on fruits. mine was baby tomatoes, and it was a bad choice of food cus my bracket came out from trying to bite the sugar.

we found the damn tall ice cream !!! we took damn alot of fotos with it
but when we wanted to eat it, yan dropped in on the floor. and a bunch of high school kids laughed at us, all thanx to the clutz. boy, embarassing. haha
at night we hit some dessert store at one of the night markets.
and had more food !!! thats the damn famous or ah jian, or oysters fried with some sticky yummy glutinous thingy, and another crabmeat dish. i love orahjian !!!
the last day, yan feeling damn sick from the overdosage of tiedans. we went to a famous beef place to eat beef noodles. we hopped on to a cab and asked the driver to bring us to any famous eatery at ximending, which was where we wanted to shop, again.
found a shop that sold damn funky stuff..
like actuarial related glasses and caps. now, everybody will believe that im an actuarial student, n not some bimbo. right??

when we took a cab in the morning a taxi driver offered to send us to the airport at a lower rate than other drivers. and when we asked him where to get good or ah mee suah he volunteered to da bao for us. so being damn nice of him, he got a a large bowl of oh ah mee suah and some rice cake thingy that was dman good. he even wanted to treat us, but in the end we didnt let him pay for our food. we r the ultimate gluttons.

the following night, we went to the airport yet again. n this time we r flying to glasgow. how packed eh.
