haha ok this is what we did in london
27th dec, reached london after taking a train, a bus, a plane, and finally the tube, which is a very complicating system of a somewhat similar mrt of sg ... after checking into hotel ibis, we took the tube again to oxford street. Let me tell u, oxford street is orchard road times 100. seriously... so we, the hardcore shopaholics, nudged our way through the streets, across roads, jaywalking many times, and frantically barged our way thro entrances of shops.. not glam at all.
finally when we were growling our stomachs out, we took the tube to chinatown to a jappie restaurant. i swear the waitresses are the most stressed out bunch ive ever seen in my entire life. maybe cus it was too busy, we even got shoved outside the restaurant when we blocked somebody from clearing the bin.... went harrods the next day... and after sushi lunch at harvey nichols, we stayed on to shop at harvey nichols.
And on wednesday, we went to bond street and continued with our shopping.. and todae b4 leaving for the airport, we went back to oxford street to finish up our shopping... places that we went.. harrods, selfridges, harvey nichols... these are the shopping malls... all takashimaya sized or bigger.. morgan, mango, oasis, topshop, united colours of benetton etc.. and these are the smaller boutiques on the streets. we bought so much that we can bankrupt our parents, and had the worst time trying to lug all that back to edinburgh.
yo ting!! uve got 2 new bags and more other stuff to come... one even matches The incredible scgs uniform... so u can tell its realli a good bag to be able to match The ugliest colour of all.
Anyway.. we went borders too.. n bought 2 books.. which i can proudly declare completion in two nights when we were back at the hotel... jenny crusie and sophie kinsella.
oh oh oh... haha we found this kodak machine at one of the kodak underground stations, which can instantly print fotos off ur digicam.. at the amazing rate of 20p per pc... which is good considering its instant!! after a whole long tiring day of walking on the streets, we found amusement in this activity.. and started editing and developing wallet sized fotos.
AND ...
i met the hottest guy on a bus to the airport!!!!!! woooaaahhh.. tall big blonde with the perfect face n build. i could have died on the spot.. with my sis of cus.. salivating equally bad
london has all the hotties. thats it. im going ucl to study.#

at some cybercafe in london now (£1/hr) ... woohoo london is so fun... anyways i spent xmas at nyo nyo's... had alot alot alot alot of good food.. burmese cuisine mostly i think... watched plenty of movies... americal pie 1,2,3 .. blah.. oh u all MUST catch 'paycheck' ... its super super good

reached london onli todae.. in some cheapo hotel... the bedroom faces the mirror.. yuck... anyway did alot of shopping... bought alot of good stuff... am so gonna enjoy my time in london cus of the splurging... which DOES NOT include ugly coats that costs £80 ... (kind reminder to my sis. ha)
oh.. haha think we're gonna get similar tattoos... cus my sis wants to tattoo her ankle ... so we r prob gonna get the same one on our ankles... yes, i know i know. dont nag

woohoo... was too tired yest to do any typing at nite... k basically we had a superb xmas dinner at adam's ... b4 that was just a cheesecake baking session... japanese cheesecake aye... we were in charge of dessert, as in my sis n i... it actualli turned out quite alright... surprisingly. haha. remember this cooking programme a few years back in sg? its 'yan can cook'... however over here in edinburgh, yan has a bad reputation when it comes to cooking.
so, we had pea soup... which was delicious... n we had alot of meat.. super moist turkey, sausages, meatballs... vege-wise, we had potatoes (yay) and brussel sprouts... they were so so so so yummilicious.. finally, when our pants were all about to split, we had our cheesecake n mince pies.. i nearly fainted.. food coma, they call it.
kay.. and todae.. we attempted to, but failed, to claim a fone with yan's insurance... the ppl here r just so inefficient n the system sucks... so well gota wait a few more days b4 we can get the fone...
which reminds me ... haha no pic updates for a few days ppl!!! away from home (okay home for this mth) for a few days.. so yea update onli when im back.#

so tired.....!!!!
hmm went to watch incredibles.. haha it rocks!!! its realli so so so good.. cnt wait to watch it again.. maybe on vcd or sth...
anway, we went to the german mkt to grab food fer dinner, but it was closed... managed to get potatoes n apple crumble from the few shops that were closing, but not yet closed... potato rocks haha... hm.. anyway the amt we had was quite pathetic.. so we bought hotdog sandwiches n ice cream into the theatre.... wah.. the upsized hotdog is even longer than ur 30cm ruler... ooh.. n u HAVE GOT TO watch the incredibles!!! yes those who havent, go go go!! its that good!!!
anyway.. i think i lost my fone... dnt ask me to elaborate... im damn upset.
