A Weekend Walk

The weather seems to be an important topic to my humans, and the weather around here lately has been very nice! No snow fell at all in March - which is amazing. Spring has arrived earlier than usual. That's good for a hound, since it means pleasant conditions for walks.



We got a bit too far away to see it well, but there are some folks enjoying a softball game behind me.



The leaves are starting to come out on the trees and shrubs. Excellent sniffing conditions.



I'm not quite sure what the point of this pose is, but the humans seemed rather amused. Something about slow hounds...hmm, not sure how to take that!



Dandelions are starting to come out as well.



And the new green grass is just meant to be rolled in. It's quite luscious to nibble on as well, but for some reason, the humans don't like me to do that!

No activity yet in the field across the street. Probably sometime in the next few weeks!
